Wonderful experience! I took my mom here for her birthday. I got the basic pedicure and treated her to the delux pedicure. She was so relaxed that she was falling asleep. Since her pedicure took much longer than mine (she got all kinds of great massages, scrubs, and lotions) the staff had no problem with me staying in the massage chair as I waited for her. As people started coming, I got up to make my station available to them and made my way to their nail drying station. I'm very happy with the friendly service and their truly caring work. I visited Nail Works and Spa today for my second time as a walk-in visit. I was greeted instantly and I requested a pedicure and an eyebrow wax. (Fun fact: I haven't so much as touched my eyebrows in about a year.) I was directed to pick a color and someone would be right with me. (On my previous visit, Van had given me a pedicure, and she had done such a wonderful job I quickly glanced around the room, but didn't notice her.) I think the man who soon called me over to a chair was named Kenny? Vinny? He also did a wonderful job! The foot bath water was the perfect temperature. And he made sure to turn on the massage chair when I forgot. He was very thorough with my foot massage, which was a gift. I never know how long I'm going to be at a pedicure place, but the time spent in that chair (I think 35 mins or so?) was worth every moment! They even had a good movie on tv. Only downside is it almost made me cry like 4 times while I was receiving my lovely foot treatment. After Vinny finished, another employee took me back to the room to have my eyebrows waxed. No sooner had she taken a look at them did she ask, "Lip wax, too?" Haha, I hadn't considered it but undeniably "needed it," so I said yes, please. She listened to my request to clean up my brows and leave them "as thick as possible without looking so rough." She did an excellent job. It didn't even hurt too much when she pulled the 7 pieces of paper off my face. (I feel like 7 was just enough without being too many, which is why I mention it.) 5 stars. I'll totally be back. Plus they gave me a punch card for subsequent visits! Oh, and bring cash to pay if you remember. read more

Terrible. Used to see Nicole now she's gone. Daughters nails lumpy and uneven cut her several times they never should have let her leave like that. 2 hours had to turn around and go somewhere else to have them fix the mess. They know how to make you relax while your getting your pedicure which is awesome. However, they don't know how to paint your toenails or fingernails. The woman (Kathy) who worked on my manicure didn't make sure that all my nails were the same length and didn't seem to care that she would have broken two of my fingers if I hadn't adjusted my arms to keep them intact. Christina did a full set of gels with gel polish on 9/2 and they are still perfect! She did coffin shape and I was in a rush... they are by far some of the best nails I've had done and I lived in LA for 7 years. My daughter and I both went here 3 weeks ago. DON'T GO THERE! We were trying to find a place closer to our home. We have been driving to Gilbert from North Mesa. We typically go every 3 weeks for regular Pedi's and manicures. I asked if they can do SNS and I was told they did. They obviously DO NOT!!!As the technician was working on them I questioned her. They were so thick they looked like a growth on my nail. She just kept saying this is SNS. you get gel next time. She just kept saying I need to get gel. She kept putting my fingers in front of a mini fan. (I've never had that with SNS). I kept telling her I've had these before and this is not how they did them. We ended up being there 2 1/2 hours and then.... 1 week later they fell off. Literally began popping off. I went back and they said I should do, "liquid gel", which I did since I was short on time and my nails looked like crap! I went back to my regular place today and they took one look and said, "oooh liquid gel ruins your nails. Takes the top layer of your nails off." It did! Both my daughter and I had to pay more for them to safely remove the old. Needless to say, we are never returning there! We will stick with a place that is honest. If you don't know how to do something say you don't! read more

My mom and I went for a pedicure based on a friends recommendation. We were being pushed into spending more money than we wanted to the entire time. The woman doing my nails was rude and seemed like she wanted nothing to do with me after I didn't want to get the deluxe pedicure. They charged my mom and extra $5 for a scrub she didn't ask for and they didn't mention would cost extra. Overall bad experience, and waste of money. read more

I have been going here since 2010 and love love love the owner, staff, and the salon is always clean. (Kevin and Nicole are great managers). Granted I only get pedicures but I love this place and I also love that even when it's busy it's not noisy like most salons If I were to ever move out of the area I would make the drive. read more

I'm a fairly annoyed with this place. They said they're open till 7, I called to verify (6:30) and as I walk up (at 6:38) they're all walking out and say they're closed. I asked them to explain why they're closing early, they ignored me and continues to turn their open sign off. The gentleman was saying coming back tomorrow and the other lady was laughing. They were nice and they do speak English but they are overpriced for cheap products. The massage lotion made me break out on my legs. My pedicure chipped 3 days later and it's completely chipped off now. Gone. It doesn't even look like I had my toes done 2 weeks ago. At 2 weeks it should be chipping and grown out. But it's gone. I asked for a flower and I could tell my request made my nail tech nervous. It was really bad. worst flower I've ever seen. He also glued 4 random crystals in the corners of my cuticles. It didn't look good. :( It may have been the first time somebody asked him for a flower? It wasn't worth the $40. read more

Stopped in for a pedicure and fill. Haven't been here in a while. The place is nice with newer pedi chairs. Very comfy! I made an appointment and Lani was ready for me when I got there. The experience started great, clean friendly people. Then the odor hits you. Straight septic smell. The smell was overwhelming. Got through getting my toes done. Ok, not what I wanted but we will roll with it. Got to get my gel nails and was told as to what I wanted "I guess we will paint them for you" wth do you mean you guess at I paying for a service or not. I wanted white nails with black tip and pink lines. Didn't get what I wanted. I know it would have taken some effort to get what I wanted(I've seen it done before). But I guess it wasn't worth the effort. Will not be going back as I was treated like I was an annoyance, The man that did my toes was great, the man that did my nails is the reason I will not go back. He acted like being there was the worst place in the world. So if he didn't want to be there, why should I. He huffed and puffed the whole time I was sitting in front of him, like he was exhausted or irritated. I'll definitely be taking my money elsewhere. Btw my husband was with me and had no problems. Excellent job on gel pink and white nails. I have nails that tend to split and break and asked what would help without doing more damage. This is what was recommended and it stayed nice and looked great. A bit more expensive than other places but friendly and great work. read more

Went for a mani/pedi with my mom and it was great. The pedicure was awesome. Had a great massage chair and exfoliated and massaged my legs. Used hot stones too. Mani was good too. Great selection of gel colors but not as many for non-gel polishes. Only bad thing: you CAN'T TIP on your credit card. I never have cash but luckily my mom did. So bring cash to tip!!!! read more

I am giving two stars because the pedicure I received was really good. However the service was poor by the rest of the staff, it was a $40 pedicure which did not include sugar scrub. I was offered the sugar scrub, without telling me it was an up-charge. When I went to pay they would not allow me to add a tip to my debit card. I will not return, which is unfortunate because it is right across the street from my house. read more
