I went into nailacarte to get a gel-x manicure. Sarah was my nail technician and she was great. She did a fantastic job! Her attention to detail and her eye for the perfect color made this a great experience. I wanted to do something different so we decided on an amber cat eye! The salon itself is nice and the staff are great!

CELINE is the best in the game and Heather I will only go see these women moving forward to be honest. I've been coming here for almost a year and a half now the two Hispanic women at the front desk need to go and as business owners, you guys should probably consider this them talking about clients. They're the first line and they have an attitude I showed up yesterday and got my nails done by Kelley who is terrible. She has the worst attitude ever. I've had my nails done from her before and her and the receptionist didn't think that I saw them talking about me before and after the appointment and then I had to politely remind her and the owner that I've been coming there for a while. I am not gonna put up with disrespect, especially when you're paying $150 per visit just for Nails alone. I was there three hours for a soak off of acrylics a Russian manicure where she cut me and I'm bleeding and builder gel. My nails are extremely short. I asked her to keep the length she wouldn't want she she wanted to argue with me and as far as the receptionist little Hispanic girl, I've caught her a couple times giving me attitude. You better check yourself, Boo you are not cute. You're literally a receptionist and business owners do better.

High quality and clean salon. My full set of cat eye Gel-X cost about $120 including tip. Yes, it's expensive - but compared to other west loop or city salons it's about right. Even though it was expensive, the quality of my nails are the best I've received from any salon honestly. I was in and out in 1.5 hours - and they are perfect. My nail tech Heather did a great job and was polite. I know this place is expensive, but if you are looking for creative designs / perfection, I think it's worth the investment. They have a standardized process and really know what they're doing!

Thank you KENNY for killing it with a new GelX Set fresh for the upcoming bears game! I can't say it enough - every single one of NailaCARTE's locations (particularly their west loop salon) is high quality - every single technician I've ever worked with did nothing less than an excellent lovely job. Staff members are friendly and accommodating. The vibes (in particular the west loop location) are super positive, trendy, yet still very relaxing. JUST GO!

Just tried here for my first time! I love the space! The guy working the front desk was awesome, he brought me tea!! I went to Marisa, I love the color of my nails. I got tips, there was a lot of trouble putting them on and I have nail glue on the back of my hands. I like the almond shape but these all seem to be different lengths. My nails are very streaky from the top coat, and some have chips/white streaks? I'm thinking from not allowing them to dry and putting on lotion too soon. I would like to try again to be able to have a better experience, I will need to try someone else.

If you're looking for flawless nails and top-tier service, NAILacarte is the place; especially Eva, my go-to nail technician. As someone who is extremely particular about my nails (the shape, length, and especially making sure they don't look too thick), finding Eva made me so happy. She transitioned me to builder gel, which gives a much more natural-looking enhancement. She's incredibly detail-oriented while still being efficient, which I really value given my ever-changing work schedule. She also does beautiful nail designs. Once, I showed her a photo and she replicated it flawlessly. Eva is also super patient with me (and my indecisiveness), and helps with color selection without ever making me feel rushed. I go every two weeks and the flexibility in scheduling, sometimes even same-day, is such a relief. The salon itself is spotless and thoughtfully curated. It's always clean and inviting, with complimentary wine, water, or green tea, most times offered during your visit, but also available upon request. Multiple TVs throughout the space make it feel modern and relaxed, and the receptionist is always warm and welcoming. There's one receptionist in particular who always remembers my name, and it's those small details that make a huge difference. They also have a massive selection of polish colors! Honorable mention: Sunny! She's been doing my pedicures recently, and she is phenomenal. She's quick but meticulous, and her attention to shaping and overall nail care is top-tier. I had an issue with my big toe (cracked it in half--ouch!), and Sunny not only did an enhancement to protect it, but also gave me guidance on how to prevent fungus while it grows out. That level of care and knowledge really builds trust. If you're someone who values quality, professionalism, and a little pampering with your service, NAILacarte is it. Highly, highly recommend.

It was my first time going this salon and I was excited that they offered Gel-x plus its close to my apartment. The overall service was really good. The woman who did my nails did an excellent job and they serve beverages but you have to ask. My only complaint would be that I ended up having to wait 20 minutes to be seated even though I made an appointment. I think they were just really busy but I hope that doesn't happen in the future. Overall they do really good work. I'm satisfied. read more

I came back only because I liked the pink ombre I had done here. Otherwise, I wouldn't have. Even when I have arrived early for an appointment I've had to wait at least 15 min. This last time is my last time coming back. I booked an acrylic full set/gel online for $65. I ended up not getting acrylic tips, so just the color (pink ombre) and gel. And they wouldn't charge me less than $85!!! Makes no sense, why they made me pay more money for a lesser service. I have requested the exact same nails at other places including this one and never paid more than $65. I feel robbed. I'll take my chances going elsewhere. read more

I will never come back to this salon. My manicures were not lasting due to my nails always breaking after getting them done and you have to make an appointment for repairs which is extremely inconvenient. My last repair went horribly which was done by Michael. He rushed and the nail he fixed was a different color, shape. and size than the other nails. It also looked unfinished as the side of the nail had no polish on it. When I told the receptionist and showed her, she did not care and still charged me for the repair. They usually charge $5 for repairs but she said it was $7 and argued with me before only charging me $5. If you want a great manicure that lasts, do not use this salon. Update, the owner said he would contact me in a reply to my review and never did. read more

This nail salon is everything. If you want to feel completely pampered, classy, and special... go here. No doubt. I have been to many nail salons in Chicago, domestically and internationally...by far this is the place to go! Peter is an absolute boss! My nails were in desperate need of attention (broken + the edge was flipping up) and while I'd gone to previous salons in Chicago before, I wasn't in love with any of them. I decided to try NailaCarte esp with their reputation for nail art and I'm super super happy w my experience! My 1st visit was a pedicure and it went great. No complaints. I returned for a $157 plus tip full set acrylic and deluxe pedicure. During pedicure, they did not trim my toenails like I asked. By the time I got home the french tip polish was already smudged, even after an hour of drying. I trimmed my own nails when I got home. My new set shape was how I liked it and done well. But a few weeks later I cannot remove my toenail polish when it should have been regular polish. I've never paid more than $100 with tip for these same services. It's really unfortunate. I will not be returning. read more

I used to go to the old location and finally tried out the new one. Although the space is nice, the quality of the work has gone downhill... usually dip manicures last me weeks, but this barely lasted 5 days before it started to chip. Not sure if I just got a bad technician, but I don't know any of the technicians so I don't know who to request (i used to see Apple but he didn't go to the new location, he was awesome). I probably will have to find somewhere else next time, unless I figure out who to request. Seems like the technician really matters because I've had bad experiences before I had found someone good to request. read more

My first time here was yesterday and it won't be my last. I made my appointment online (easy process), got there, and was greeted by a friendly guy (don't remember his name.) Apple did an excellent job on my full set. He was nice and made me feel at ease. Fluke did a phenomenal job on my nail art. It was my first time getting get manicures, as well as my first time here, and I really appreciated the service and ambiance. We came after hearing really good reviews, and I was not disappointed. They have such an extensive gel color collection, and I was able to find the color I wanted immediately. The service is great, really courteous and respectful. They were running behind on appointments, but made sure to check in and let us know updates, which I appreciated. I'll definitely be coming back. read more

I booked an appointment for a no chip manicure over the phone. They were on time - didn't wait long to be seated. I showed a nail inspo picture to Funke and he was able to replicate it very well. I only came back a second time for the nail art. After two days, my no chip is already peeling off. I was charged $5 extra for almond shape. Seriously?! I have never heard of the absurdity of extra charge for shape of nails when they are being filed anyways. When I called about nails peeling, I was told I will be charged for fixing then. Never coming back. So many better nail salons that are cleaner, kinder and don't charge extra for every little detail that makes a manicure what it is. read more

I recently visited NAILàCARTE - Nails & Designs in the West Loop area, and I must say, my experience was far from pleasant. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with an unwelcoming atmosphere and an unfriendly front desk girl. The rudeness displayed by the employees left a sour taste in my mouth. One of the major issues I encountered was their booking system. It was an absolute mess. I had made an appointment in advance, but upon arrival, I was told that they had somehow booked the wrong service and couldn't accommodate me at the scheduled time. The lack of organization and professionalism was disappointing, to say the least. To make matters worse, the quality of the nail service I received was far from satisfactory. I paid a considerable amount of money for a gel manicure, expecting expert craftsmanship and attention to detail. However, my nails looked mediocre at best. The polish was uneven, and I l noticeable chunky. The technicians kept switching and both rushed through the process without taking the time to ensure a polished result. Considering the rude staff, the subpar booking system, and the lackluster final outcome, I cannot recommend NAILàCARTE - Nails & Designs. It's disheartening to pay a premium price for a service that falls so short of expectations. Yesterday I received two confirmations for an appt at 5:15. I showed up and my appt was not in the system despite having two confirmations from 9 am and 2 pm day of my appointment. I waited for answers and to reschedule for an hour. A technician volunteered to help and fulfill my appointment and after they had removed my set of gel x, the desk assistant interrupted and told him to stop. I left with glue on my hands and was told I am banned for not paying for a repair in a previous appointment. The previous repair was within the 7 day policy, which I also have proof of. The team did not implement their own repair policy, they confirmed my appointment and did not fulfill it, and then kicked me out mid service. There are several witnesses who can attest to this and you are free to review that on your cameras as well. Your desk assistant also DM'd me on Instagram privately calling me "broke". This behaviour is quite disgusting and extremely unprofessional. read more

I tried a place close by NailaCarte and the services was disappointing. I rode pass NailaCarte and decided to give them a call since I was off. The facility is very clean and the receptionist was very hospitable and polite. I was offered tea while I waited to serviced. which was about 5 minutes. My nail tech was the best. I was IMPRESSED the second I stepped foot into the salon. It's beautiful, big, & greeted warmly by the receptionist. Seyda did my gel manicure + nail art and turned out spectacular, and received many compliments. I referred a friend already. *They follow COVID protocols with clear dividers in between tables/ pedicure chairs, mandatory masks, and the place is CLEAN. read more

My experience here was amazing! I got a cateye no chip manicure by Jason. He gave me exactly what I wanted and made sure the color was right before starting. He really paid attention to the details and made sure each nail looked perfect all at a reasonable price.
