Went in today walkin for me and my friend and they did such a poor job. My friend's nails are jagged, uneven in length, and the service tech was rude. I had two people work on my hands, the first tech, a guy was so rough grinding my nails and my skin with It. The second woman did better but didn't listen to anything i asked for. It's way overpriced for the quality i received today. They have this punch card you use when you visit multiple times and It very clearly says on your 6th visit you get 10% off and they hassled this other girl about not getting It on her current visit (6th visit) and getting It instead on the 7th for no less than 10 minutes and then changed their words once they called the boss and learned they were wrong, and didn't even say sorry. Vibes were not It, don't go here. I wish i could get money back from this whole ordeal. read more

I woke up today and decided that before traveling to Miami I should get my mani and pedi done. I, of course went on Yelp to find a place, and found Nailed It. I was drawn to this salon because of all the colors and variety they had in their pictures, and it made me drive to Southie for the first time since I moved to Boston. I walked in and was immediately asked to pick a dip color, and since I'm feeling adventurous I chose blue. My nail tech KK was very fast and did my dip fairly fast and I was taken to the pedi station. The salon is new and has great massage chairs to enjoy. I chose the basic pedi package and got a terrific massage, I mean she undid the knots on my calves and feet. So thankful for her amazing hands. I went home and told my friends about this nail salon, my friends booked an appointment for later in the day. She loved it and sent me a picture of her brown nails. It's nice to find a beautiful spot in Boston to get my nails done. They are nail techs goddesses! The only thing this place is missing is champagne topped with cotton candy. read more

I'll start by saying I am EXTREMELY picky. Once I find a great nail salon I am committed and never leave, but finding a great place like that is nearly impossible. I spent a year going to various salons in and around Boston until I was referred to Nail'd It by a friend and I have never left. They do an incredible job and pay attention to every detail. I can easily go 3 weeks without one nail coming off. All of the nail technicians are equally as talented. They do great with both basic nails (which is what I like) and also do great designs! Additionally everyone is very friendly and they work as a team - never rude or dismissive to any customer that walks in the door. Always best to make an apt as they get very busy. i had an appointment at 6:30 for a refill on my acrylics. first of all they didnt get started on my nails until 7:15, fine whatever. the lady filed the side of my nail so hard my finger started bleeding, she was apologetic about it (which i appreciate) but i was already annoyed with the fact they took a 6:45 appointment before my 6:30. the nails looked great until you really look at them, then you can see all the particles and dust they didn't bother to remove or mention. i got 2 charms on my nails, both of which fell off in a day or two. i got my nails done thursday, its been 5 days and 3 of my nails are already completely broken off and 2 are chipping. very disappointed with the service here. read more

I was drawn in by curbside appeal as appears happens to other comments here and was beyond disappointed. I asked for a simple design (shown below) and then the second photo is what I left with. I feel so awful writing a bad review but it feels really warranted. I was told after I had been seated and the woman started working that she doesn't do designs. Never asked if I would like another nail technician to do the design (I wouldn't have minded waiting) or if I wanted to go someplace else, just kept doing my nails to her liking. She didn't ask the length I wanted, and just cut my nails very short. I didn't get up and leave as I probably should have, partially because I held onto hope that someone in the salon could add an orange line to the corners, but that was not the case. I ended up going to another place just up the street immediately after, and they happily added the simple design I was hoping for, :) There are so many great nail salons in southie, pick some where else! read more

I found this nail salon online and the worked looked beautiful. I'm very disappointed because I didn't get what I asked for. the technician who initially started my nails was Hannah, she jumped chairs nd started doing someone else's nails and another tech glued my tips on for acrylic. My tips were crooked so I requested that they were taken off and glued on straight .. I was being called picky and I felt rushed. my appt was for a full set on my nails and toes. I wanted a RED French tip. Hannah came back and continued my nails, not in the right shape at all. I asked for square and I got ballerina..... I let it go because I just needed my nails done, when I asked about how they do acrylic on toes she said she didn't have time anymore to do my toes because I got powder acrylic and not "Gel X" .. Hannah did not sanitize her station before asking me to sit down and tried to use the same cuticle cutters she used on her previous client. I requested clean and sanitized ones and was called picky again ... honestly my nails are ugly & just not what I wanted or asked for. she pulled white out and I honestly didn't even want the hassle so I left with white French tip an not red. Nor did I let them touch my feet due to sanitary issues.. I take sterilization very seriously. PLEASE ALWAYS MAKE SURE YOUR NAIL TECH IS USING CLEAN AND STERILE TOOLS!!!!!!!!!!! read more

I like that you can book your appointment online. I've gone a few times now. I had a pedicure. They have about 5 different kinds. I went for the upscale upscale upscale one with hot towels, hot stone, paraffin wax... was a very good experience. Comfortable massage chairs, free internet. There were 2 slight negatives. There was an up-charge of $2, not sure why, happened last time, too, seems every polish has this. And the technician was excellent until towards the end of the pedicure when she abruptly got up without any explanation and switched with a male technician who did the nail painting. He did a great job and was friendly, bit it was a weird transition without any explanation. Wouldn't keep me from going back, just was odd way to end the treatment. read more

This was my second time at Naild It and I had a fine experience the first time. This time, I left wondering what the f*&% I paid $45 for?! I had an appointment for a dip manicure. They were a bit busy when I arrived (right on time), so no problem to wait ~10 minutes. However, my entire appointment was about 15 minutes. I could tell the nail technician was rushing to be done with me to help other people (2 people came in after me; neither of them had appointments). So a bit annoying that my appointment didn't mean anything. Here is my overall experience with this manicure: 1. I walked in with some nailpolish already on my nails (regular, not gel or dip). I left with nail polish smudges on my finger from her removing it. SHE DIDN'T REMOVE IT ALL THE WAY. I was shocked she let me leave with red smudges across half of my finger 2. part of the reason to get a manicure professionally done is for the cuticle care. My cuticles look no different than when I walked in; which means they are still dry and flaky. She applied lotion but BARELY. Did a little picking with a tool, but nothing to fix my cuticles 3. there's still nail dust under one of my nails. She didn't do anything to actually clean under my nail. I will never go back. I'm just shocked that a technician let someone walk out with nailpolish still on their hand like this. read more

Worst nails & dip I've ever had in 20 years. Started by not filing or doing my cuticles. Then when she did use cuticle cutters she pulled them from the drawer not clean. Once the power was on (which was all over the place) she then used the dremel which she was using to also cut my cuticles...which ment she cut my fingers..3 of them. I left with power all over my fingers, and the dip power stuck on my fingers as well as bleeding cuticles. Worst experience I've ever had. And she did it all in 30 min.
