She takes her time to get those cuticles and make sure you have some nice hands all around when you leave! DONT COME HERE!! First, I had a HORRIBLE experience coming here. Before coming, I had let her know I was trying to get acrylic nails. She started with gluing fake nails on me. I said nothing because I assumed she would eventually put some type of poly gel or acrylic's on top of them. Once she started to paint, I felt like I couldn't say anything anymore. I let her know that these type of nails have never worked for me. She said "you should be good if not you can always come back and I can fix them." When I left, I realized that my two nails that she had put butterflies on felt Really bumpy. I let her know immediately I was not satisfied with my nails due to the fact that I paid $100!!!! Moral of the story, I let her know that my nail broke within a WEEK and she did nothing about it. I wanted some type of refund since she clearly cannot do nails and nothing was done. She just kept ignoring my text messages. Warning: she never explained her pricing. I let her know what I wanted but she never said how much extra these things would be. Every salon I have been to have always said long nails are extra, ombré are extra, etc. Don't get me wrong, I knew it would be extra but I didn't know how much more she would charge. It's super easy to book with her using the app booksy and choosing what service you want there. I'm a nurse and my nails always end up breaking down from a lot of hand washing or just breaking in general so I needed somebody that knew how to work with hard gel well. *sigh* I genuinely hate leaving bad reviews, especially because I went to her because of all these good reviews on yelp. I have to say that Christine's services are extremely overpriced for the quality, and her personality is a bit abrasive. We didn't talk much, but when she spoke she just seemed like she was either annoyed or in a hurry, which made for a slightly uncomfortable experience. I also have been to so many shops where the powder dip removal was included, but she charges for it which I think is a bit unfair. I was charged $80 for my simple gel manicure which is mediocre compared to the $50 I paid for a dip manicure with intricate designs at my normal shop. She also jokes kind of mean. At one point she said "don't make me hit you" but then followed up with "just kidding", which is chill if you know a person and their sense of humor, but it's a little extra when you've just met a client. I didn't really say much during my appointment, but reading all of the other bad reviews has solidified that I'm not crazy because other people have dealt with her being kind of rude as well. Also, I believe all of these negative reviewers even when she has followed up and said she doesn't know who someone is. I truly believe she's lying about never having met some of the clients who have left bad reviews, and I find it off-putting that she seems combative in her responses to bad reviews. Don't go off of all the good reviews. Visit at your own risk. This is the best I can do since I'm pretty non-confrontational and felt awkward saying anything in person, but she does mediocre work and over charges for it. read more

However, my experience getting gel x was so good that I always get it now! They look so much more natural and thin (but strong). I have had my nails done by Christine maybe 5 or 6 times. I like to give people chances. I do not like to judge people on how they behave because we never know what someone is going through, and typically the way they treat others is how they feel about themselves. Having said that, I find Christine's attitude downright appalling. Sitting with her during the service is always tense, and it always feels like she is seconds away from losing it on you.
