Lily also waxed my eyebrows and upper lip, which turned out great. The salon itself is beautiful and has such a calm, relaxing atmosphere. Tiffany is not only talented but also takes the time to ask what you like to help bring your vision to life. I really appreciate that she can do a variety of designs and add rhinestones too. It looked like they painted each other's nails instead of a professional doing a proper job. For that price, I expected better work, and it's a good idea to check the results before leaving.

When I grew out my nails while using gel-x I asked for the forming gel so I it could give my nails a more curved shape so they wouldn't be so flat and she mentioned she didn't have the proper gel type for it. However, I later found out that it was doable with the gel she had and I felt like she just didn't want to put in the effort or material she had towards giving me what I wanted. She seemed frustrated and annoyed because she noticed I saw her work was very uneven and sloppy and when she gave me the filler to fix it myself, I filled a top portion that had a huge bump. She thought I was gonna file the side and she got upset I I filled off the top portion. I went to her one last time and stopped going since I wasn't getting the results I was looking for. She does great work if your specifically looking for her style of nails, as seen in her pics. What's upsetting is that when I asked and showed her what I was looking for from when I first booked, she confirmed it was something she would be able to do. I was extremely overcharged for the work she did and I would have preferred if she just told me she wasn't able to do the work I was requesting. This was my personal experience with Vicky.

Trusting my 'yelp reviewees' I found a fabulous artist! I was amazed at her detailed designs. I brought several pictures in and she did better than the picture I brought in! Interesting set up. Her space is in a business park. A one room office is cutely decorated and she is the only artist. Plan ahead bc service is by appointment only which can be a bit out. Only disappointment for me was there was no massage with the manicure.

I had a gel manicure done by Tammy a little over a month ago for my wedding! Trying out a brand new…read moresalon right before my big day made me a little nervous, but looking back at the results, I'm so glad I did! Getting to the salon wasn't too difficult, some street parking wasn't too difficult. The salon had a cute and modern vibe to it! I was instantly seated by Tammy and she got to work. They had an iPad at each station, which really made my experience here relaxing. I had a hard gel set on, and Tammy did mention how they'd have to start clean and remove this set. I was charged for removal, which I wasn't the greatest fan of. I asked Tammy for a classic nude, white ombré with a bit of glitter on top, and she delivered! This is probably the best set of ombré nails I've ever had done!!! I've had many nail techs say how ombré nails look better on longer nails, but Tammy made things work with the nail length I was comfortable with! I was a bit skeptical of the longevity since it wasn't the hard gel I'm used to, but this set legit lasted me over FOUR WEEKS (with the exception of one nail that had gel-ex on because of some previous nail damage)! If I were in the area more often, I'd go back to Buttercup in a heartbeat!!!! They are on the pricier side, but you'll be paying for quality IMO.

They also put you in these super comfortable reclining chairs with blankets. It's perfect to take a nap. Only downside is that there is no parking, just 3 parking spots. And the pedicure was pretty pricey. I think my pedicure was about $55.. and my nail tech did a good job at taking ingrown nail but they did not follow the shape of the nail that I asked for.
