Tule is a true gem. She is the best eyebrow threader in round rock. She's super quick, inexpensive and easy to get a hold of. Text or call her and she gets right back. Her pedicures last for a very long time (2 months for me one time). I usually go back for another before the last has worn off. She will listen to your requests and her shop is quiet and easy to find. She's reasonable with prices and had appointments on the weekends and during the weekdays. I've been a customer for almost a year now. I absolutely love these ladies. They are very professional, clean, friendly, and good at what they do. I never leave unhappy, and frequently post pictures of my nails on social media which gets bunches of likes and comments. In fact, I keep a stack of their business cards in my bag because I get so many compliments on my nails that I give these complimenters a card so they know how to reach Tina & Tule. It's best to schedule an appointment because these ladies are very busy, and very popular. They take good care of me. I go in every 3 weeks for a mani/petti. Tina is my regular nail tech. She spends time on my feet because she knows how much I LOVE a good foot massage. And with my mani I get the solar nail overlay. I have very good and strong nails but I swim 5 days a week and the salted chlorine makes them like tissue paper. Tule suggested I try the solar nails and I LOVE them. Tina ALWAYS inspect my nails and removes any loose sections. She thins the enough of the existing solar surface so she can inspect for loose pieces bubbles, and any sign of infection or mold. I also get the gel polish so that my mani looks good until my next appointment 3 weeks later. I usually have an idea of a design on my nails like a flower or some holiday theme like bunnies for Easter, snow flakes in February, or Christmas trees at Christmas. As far as compensation, I have to say, they re seriously reasonable. I would pay more and get less quality and less personable service from one of those nail emporiums. Tule is amazing! After driving down to Austin for almost a year, as I have been unsuccessful finding a good nail place I have found my new spot. I love that it's appointment only. The suite is very quaint and quiet. I like that it's not a busy shop that leaves me feeling stressed for all the customers waiting. I've been to this salon twice now. My first visit was great--made an appointment for a pedicure and the service I received was prompt and professional. The second time I visited, however, has me searching for a new nail salon. They require appointments, which I can completely appreciate, so I made one for about a week in advance for a pedicure. I arrive to my appointment, and the tech is literally just then escorting a lady to the pedicure chair...I found it to be extremely unprofessional for this salon to require appointments but not honor those that have been set in advance. I'm always on time for my salon appointments, and I don't think it's too much to expect a courtesy call, at the very least, if the appointment will be pushed back. I had to leave without having received a pedicure because I had another commitment immediately following this one. Frustrating! read more

I called and asked where they were located (I still don't know, maybe in the salons?) and they replied with do you have an appointment? No. Well we only take appointments. I am a native New Yorker living bi-coastal from NY to CA. ANY chance I can get in to see Tule I will schedule my flights to go out of my way and make sure I stop in Austin to get her mani and pedi's. Beautiful! I was randomly stopping into a salon to get my nails done as TuLe was stepping out. She stopped to help me find my way and when I mentioned I came to get my nails done, she guided me to her shop. Received amazing service, and my nails are gorgeous! She was very detailed and took such good care of me the moment I walked through the door. She said when I walked in she was on a break, but wanted to help me so she cut her break short. Tina and Tule are true professionals delivering quality service! I made an appointment and saw them for the first time today after reading all the positive reviews. They were on time, friendly, and provided a high quality salon experience with a quiet little boutique-type atmosphere. The client who was there before me said she's been with them for years, and the one who came after her said the same. They couldn't say enough good things about Tule and Tina. Tina did my pedi and a dip mani and they both turned out great! I usually prefer that my cuticles be pushed back and not trimmed, but I hadn't had my nails done in forever, so the cuticles did need some trimming. She had a very light touch and was not aggressive with the small amount of trimming she did, so that was a nice change from most places I've been. The pedi was very relaxing, as was the massage chair. She managed my ticklish feet quite well, which is also not the norm. They cleaned all the utensils and keep a clean studio. The chit chat was easy, and not forced or overbearing as it often is in regular salons. I love that it's appointment only! Oh, and Tule threaded my brows! I've needed this but haven't found a good place since I moved to the suburbs from Austin. She was quick and did just what I asked, which was to clean them up, but keep them natural-looking. I found these young ladies through Yelp, after years of going to others that use the much stronger formulas on your nails. The powder they use on your nails is light and airy (a bit more expensive) but worth it - your nails do not feel weighed down. My nails have never grown so much until I found the new miracle workers. Some of these photos don't do them justice. But seeing the live outcomes are definitely amazing. It's hard to believe they have been in this new location for only 9 months. Here's to hoping they stay and even if they ever decide to change location (because we all know how expensive rent can become) again even if they decide to change locations I am very sure that all their clientele will follow them anywhere. The only recommendation I would have for them is to put a price list up (or) have a laminated sheet to hand to their new customers. This list is to describe their service's offered and prices. No need for big bulky signs in their quaint space. Have I mentioned how clean they are - amazing - very hard to find out there lately - so clean They are true gems of the nail world. I had a great experience here. They are prompt on the phone for appointments. The salon is located inside the Salons at University Oaks so they preemptively sent a photo of the front of the building so I wouldn't get lost. Their salon is cozy - great for relaxing. I have been using Tule for close to 2.5 years now. I had lived in East Texas for 20 and had a terrific lady that I knew would be hard to replace. Once in RR I searched and experimented with several before finding Tule at a different location. Those that know me, know that I'm particular especially with my feet and fingers. I feel very fortunate to have stumbled on to Tule. After reading a few previously posted comments, it's unfortunate that reviews were based on things out of her control. Ms. Tule has been the most prompt and accommodating worker I've dealt with. Her facility is very clean and she uses top-notch products. I have no reason to look elsewhere. read more
