I went today and it is located in a newly opened strip mall (it's quite small though) and the whole location is in front of a newly opened neighborhood. Super cute location and ample parking! I walked in and I was sat right away. The establishment is clean and the vibe is so friendly. The lady who did my pedicure was so thorough, she didn't try to upsell me (just asked if I wanted a mani because my nails did look rough lol) and took her time doing my gel pedi. She filed my nails till I was satisfied and gave me a hot stone massage (which comes standard with a pedicure!). All the products they use are organic and the place smelled fresh (not overly fragrant like some nail salons). Loved my look and will definitely go back!!

They told us to please come back at 6, knowing they closed at 7. The service was very slow. My nail tech and I had good conversation until she realized I wasn't local. My mom, brother, and sister in law live down the street so I'm around a lot. However, there was an immediate shift when she realized I was not a potential regular. At the end, I provided payment via card and a cash tip. The tip was thrown back at me and the nail tech told me I must provide 20% for the service she provided. I was not going to argue over $15. However, I'm sure there are plenty of individuals who cannot provide a 20% tip. She went over to her boss and they laughed about it. A very uncomfortable position to put a customer in with the doors locked. TNT Nails in Monroe has great prices for their work and they treat customers with respect. I would highly recommend TNT Nails over Sky Nails. I've been going to them as a non local for years and had great experiences.

i've been bouncing from salon to salon for about a year looking for a place, i've gone to a lot of…read moredifferent salons in mercer county, some twice, but was still looking for a place that i left feeling happy without feeling like i couldn't eat lunch for the next three days because of what i just spent. i read some good reviews about issalon and decided to give it a try this morning and think i've finally found "my place!" i got there 15 minutes early for my appointment and ally took me almost immediately. i was scheduled for full highlights and am usually a little anxious in a new place but she was awesome, friendly, and so relaxed. i never worried for a second because she clearly knew what she was doing. i have trouble making decisions and a lot of salons will just sit and not give me feedback, but ally was so sincere and i really valued her input, which ended up spot on. she wasn't pushy and didn't try to convince me to buy anything or get services i didn't need or ask for just to jack the bill up, just made suggestions that were so appreciated. she was honest and gives great advice! i paid literally half as much as i have been paying in other salons, but left twice as happy, i will definitely be back :) kerry
