My bf and I were there on vacation from Portland, and Steve took an incredible amount of time taking care of my aches and pains. I've had a long term inflammatory condition, so any massage is an incredible treat. His background in sports medicine really came through...almost as much as his incredible spirit did. I'll never forget returning to our room after the treatment and telling my bf, "Whooooa.. that man is God!!" haha. My body hadn't felt so relieved in such a long time. It meant the world to me. Not only did I find an amazing masseuse, it was almost like finding a new friend. We spoke of travels, herbal medicine, spreading kindness, etc. Having this kind of person work on you is so important. They are providing a gift not only on a physical level, but emotional as well. His energy was so fantastic that I continued to travel to Forest Grove regularly just to see Steve. After a few visits, I treated myself to a facial from Heidi. I am a licensed esthetician myself, so I can be a bit picky about skin care. What an incredibly awesome thing to find that this husband and wife duo are equally fantastic. Heidi is a wealth of knowledge about the line she uses (Image), and skin itself. She is obvously incredibly passionate about skin care, and wants to make sure that you have not only an amazing treatment, but a take away regimen that is going to be right for you. It's like going on a blissful journey of relaxation, and looking amazing all at once! She is so sweet, and makes you feel like you (and your skin) mean the world to her. Not only are Heidi and Steve amazing, caring people...they are incredibly talented at what that do. I've had the great benefit of watch them work hard to now own their own spa. It's gorgeous! It's tranquil, well decoratied and even right next to a Dutch Bros if you need a pick me up after! They've also got a beautiful website set up now that makes it super easy to schedule. If you follow their FB page they always have super deals going on too! Clearly- I adore these two and feel I really lucked out having stumbled across them. I decided to purchase a membership on July 27, 2026 with a 2 week upgrade and tanning lotion…read more Totaling $90. I forgot I had a dermatology appt the very next day and when I saw my dermatologist about a spot on my nose she froze off a couple of other moles she saw and told me I needed to avoid the sun especially because of the spot on my nose that she wants to do a biopsy On in Sept. I was shocked when she told me this. My first thought was "oh no just got a membership yesterday at the tanning salon." Anyways I went in to Palm beach tan on the 29th to get a refund, and explained everything to the manager she reassured me and filled out paperwork. I also asked for a refund on the tan lotion I never used and I handed that to her. According to Palm beach tan refund agreement it says " New members can request a refund within 30 days of purchase". Tanning lotion policy says "Return Window: Eligible skin care and tanning lotions must be returned within 7 days of the original purchase date". When she was done filling out the paperwork for my refund, the manager had told me that " IF " they decide to give me a refund it could take up to 14 days . I said what do you mean "IF"? seriously? I went home and I started feeling uneasy because I didn't have a receipt saying that I returned the lotion. I didn't have an email saying that I canceled the membership so I called the store a couple of times I feel like the manager was irritated with me. I asked her again about my refund and about my lotion and she told me I could not get a refund for the lotion only in store credit. she mentioned that she told me this the first time I came in and asked for the refund, but I do not recall her saying this I would not have handed her my lotion. She said, "Your lotion is in the back with your name on it if I wanted to come pick it up." I did everything in a timely manner exactly how they told me in their policy. I went to a manager by day 3 because she was not available the 2nd day. Which means I could've got a refund for the lotion I never used like it says in their terms and agreement. And I still haven't gone back to the store to pick it up yet. It's very frustrating when nobody reaches out to contact you to let you know what's going on and you have to keep checking your bank account to see if you've been refunded. So now I'm leaving this review. I hate being taken advantage of and I'm not the type of person to let this go. Hopefully this will get resolved and I'll be able to edit and update. Update regarding employee comment: I already sent an email to the corporate office. And the manager supposedly sent a refund form to her bosses On July 29th. Come August 10 it will be 14 days. It's kind of funny how you cant see the one star reviews unless you download the yelp app but you definitely can read anything over four stars. The fact that it will take up to five days to reach out to me is just ridiculous. The fact that it's taking so long to get my refund is absolutely ridiculous. I see that Palm beach tan has a lot of one star reviews. that's speaks volumes and shows that Palm Beach Tan is just in it for the money and doesn't care about their customers. Laurie listened to me and performed her magic. She also mentioned using a spray in conditioner versus a heavy conditioner applied in the shower. Oddly enough I had just run out of conditioner the day before so had only shampooed my hair and it seemed to have a lot more volume! I loved my haircut and the pricing was fair as well. However, she informed me they would still be charging me for the month even though I live out of state and am not anywhere near a Tan Republic, where I could use the product. They refused to consider a refund and when I emailed to ask for their consideration in a refund, as I am physically unable to use the service, they did not even bother to reply and just sent a pdf of the membership agreement. Super disappointing customer service, especially since I have been a loyal member for the past two years. Prices are typical of tanning salons for beds and products (more than I'd like!) The staff are all very nice and helpful. Beds are always clean. It is a little dark even though each room has its own light fixture. I've only used the "gold" beds which I believe is their medium level. If you join Tan Republic's Bronze without Borders club they have special deals on Wednesdays. Knock on wood, I have never had to wait for a bed. The location is super convenient so I'll keep going until I find something better. Mystic Tan (aka spray tan): 1 star. For $35 a pop I expected more. First, it is way too expensive; you only get a discount when buying increments of 5 tans.. Second, the sweet gal at the desk was not very informative about the levels and did not attempt to sell me any product to deepen/lengthen the tan (ok, maybe that's a good thing). Third, it is super outdated compared to the VersaSpa spray booths I've tried elsewhere. Fourth, I'm not happy with how it turned out and would never do it again. Better to drive somewhere with newer models or for a custom spray if needed in the future.

No tanning salon or bed ANYWHERE in the US can beat this place. I have been in beds that last 15 to 20 minutes and they can't even touch what this bed did for me. WAIT! I will put my money where my mouth is. You go get just one Tan in #4 room on that bed and if I am not 100% correct, I will pay for your tan. I will do this for the next 30 days with anyone! Well I was wrong. I called to let them know the situation and explained myself just to be told it was a misunderstanding and they could only waive $10. I called back and spoke with Layna, explained the situation again, she totally understood and tried everything in her power to see if they would waive the cost. She was so sweet and polite and mostly professional and because of her they are implementing that the associate explain the new promotions correctly so this doesn't happen again. I truly wanted to cancel my membership but after speaking with Layna I have decided to give them another chance. Thank you so much Layna for all your help!
