Was referred to this salon by a friend who had visited. Thought that $17 for a regular manicure was a bit high compared to what I usually pay, but I've struggled to find a good nail place in the area so figured I'd give it a try. Came in Sunday morning for an appointment with Fanny and 5 days later my manicure is still PERFECT. Not a single chip -- which is unheard of for me. Normally my regular manicures chip within 1-2 days. The gloves they put on your hands with the lotion is a nice touch as well. Their color selection is also amazing. I knew what I wanted going in there ... but if I didn't it probably would have taken me 20 minutes to sort through it all. All in all I would say it's worth the money - especially with how clean the place is. Every tool they used on me came out of a sterile bag. Cleanliness in a nail salon is the #1 most important thing to me. Will definitely be back to try a pedicure! read more

This review follows last weeks rush job, thinking feedback would be relayed- I have frequented the salon on multiple occasions. The receptionist are very friendly. The manager is friendly and ask for feedback; very hands on. The gel manicure is a disappointment, I acquired bruising in my nail and weakness due to the harsh filing of the file machine, when asked to ease up the manicurist was agitated. I stopped going for gel manicures as my nail bed was damaged. The pedicures are clearly timed, especially the leg and foot massages. She began my leg massage with the scrub and did 30 seconds on each leg, rinsed and started the foot massage. The first leg started at 1:35-1:37 and the second 1:37-1:39. It was all rushed including the bottom of the foot scrub; I had to take the scrubber and scrub my own foot. I would hate to see what a special pedicure is. I experienced this last week and thought it would have slightly changed, but it was still equate my pedicure experience to an assembly line. Let's be clear, I went when there was no people waiting. It's so close and convenient for me on a Saturday, but I doubt I will be returning. Not the best experience when you come for a service and you feel like the technician is rushing. I give it a three because the receptionist were very nice and the atmosphere, but the technicians need to stop the rush job. read more

Today was my first time getting a gel manicure and regular pedicure. I was very pleased with the beautiful job that Maggie did with my nails and feet. I was looking for a very distinct color that was very hard to match and she spent extra time trying to find the exact shade for me. The nail salon is very clean and it's worth it. She gave me an excellent pedicure too, considering my feet take a lot of abuse from running and working on my feet all day. I had a wax treatment on my heels and my hands were treated with Keratin lotion in gloves, plus I was given a neck massage. Everything is done with complete sanitation of all equipment and the foot soak. So glad I found this place and it's close to my house. Going back in 2 weeks and will definitely request for Maggie to do my nails because she takes her time and was very pleasant. I am very impressed...Joanie G read more

Wanted to really like this place. Seemed very clean, but very overpriced!!! Will not go back again - ended up getting a fungus after trying dip powder. Went to dermatologist and was told dip powder is very unsanitary - powder is not clean. If person before you had an infection, very likely you could get it too if using the same powder. Dip powder is loaded with germs!!!! read more

I just left this place and this is my first time getting my nails done here and thought it was a very convenient place for me. It is only 10 minutes away from my house, and it was clean with modern decor inside, so I thought it would be my new go to nail salon. The receptionists were also kind, but my nail technician, Susan, was not. She seemed like doing my nails was the most difficult thing to do and seemed uninterested the whole time. She did not cut my cuticles, she left crust from the acrylic refill under my nails, and was so rough she managed to cut the side of my pinky, to the point where I was bleeding. I did not say anything because I did not want to be rude and left her to finish my nails. She didn't forget to ask me to pay in the middle of her doing my nails though! When I stopped her because the blood was sleeping through my nail she looked at it and disregarded my cut and continued to put nail polish!!! I then dried my nails in the corner and saw another nail technician give her client a massage (WHICH I DID NOT RECEIVE). I REALLY wanted to like this place, but Susan ruined it. read more

I was very impressed with the salon. The technician was excellent. The spa was meticulous and spotless. The the salon itself was beautiful. The safety measures that they are taking at this time made me feel very safe, with their plexiglass partitions, masks , gloves, and a gentleman who comes out and sanitizers each station when you're done. I came to Nail Spa and Beyond today for the first time. The place is really well done- that's for sure But the service is really BAD. I came initially for a pedicure, manicure and eyebrow waxing but after getting the pedicure done, I didn't want to get anything else done. The pedicure was rushed- she was done in 20mins. I had asked for Regular Pedicure- which is suppose to be 30mins. She did a really bad job. The prices are highly priced. It is complete waste of money. You are pretty much paying more for the way the place looks. I would recommend to never go here again. And they are charging $5 extra for every service bec of Covid. Best nail salon around! Ive lived in Marlboro for 16 years & have bounced around to different salons. Finally I stumbled upon Nail Spa & Beyond & have been using them since they opened! The front desk staff is amazing!! Danielle is so sweet whenever I come in as well as all the staff. I always use Kim (best dip manicure & pedicure), she takes her time makes sure ever cuticle is perfect!!! My best friend uses Emily or Ivy & they are amazing as well. I sometimes just pop in just to say hello & I'm always treated like I'm family!! Highly recommend them! read more

Left nail lounge because it was too expensive and the owner started having an attitude with not just me, but a lot of other people. Found this place and was so taken away with how pretty the inside looked, and how many nail color options they had. The only TINY problems I had were that it took a little bit of some time to do my nails, I was in at 3:30 and left at 5:15. Which may be normal because my past guy would rush me in 15 minutes. So that's a huuuuge difference in time. With that being said, my nail artist did take his time to make sure each nail was perfect and that was a plus. My biggest issue was the front desk, she could've been a little friendlier. I see reviews on how people got offered drinks and stuff while they waited but not me:( I will be returning, I love my nails! I will just book a morning appointment because getting out of a long nail appointment and getting into rush hour traffic isn't very ideal lol, lots and lots of sitting. read more

I've recently tried this new salon and so far I've been pleased with their pedicure service. The decor is beautiful and it is spotlessly clean. Theres a small bar area with lemon water for customers or you are offered bottled water while you wait. They are one of the few salons in the area that offer dip powder for nails although I haven't tried it. The first time I went, it was during their grand opening week. I tried their regular pedicure with callous treatment. The tubs are lined with plastic, instruments are sterilized and items such as buffers, etc are used only once. I received a nice 5 min massage, along with a nice leg scrub, hot towel and hot stone massage and a parrafin heel treatment along with the callous treatment. There was a little hiccup with my polish peeling off the first night but I returned the next day and they were very polite and fixed the two nails for free. I held off on a review until I tried them a second time and I'm pleased to say polish is perfect. I think the first time there may have been some oily residue or something on my nail bed. But things happen..what's more important to me is how they handle issues with customer service and they were very gracious. My second pedicure is holding up just fine so I will be returning! read more

Worst experience of getting nails done ever. Such rude staff. Worst place to ever go to. I was asked to hurry for everything. The lady doing my nails was literally throwing my fingers. So so mean. I've been getting my nails done since years. She thought I was dumb. She was giving me wrongful rates. I WANT A REFUND FOR THIS WORST SERVICE EVER. I mean if you are not interested in taking a lot of costumers then don't. But wth. It was my 21st birthday I came in with a nice design and she ruined my nails. Glue all over my fingers. I just stopped her from doing it further. She was so rude to me my whole mood got off because of her. I got acrylic and she filed them of different lengths. My original nail and tip are almost of the same size. It was Soo bad. I need to get in touch with the manager. I realize now that 0 stars is not an option. I made my appt at Nail Spa about a month ago. We leave for Disneyworld tomorrow so every aspect of our trip has been planned accordingly. So today my sister, 4 year old daughter, and I had nail appointments to get ourselves ready for Disney. While my daughter got her Mani and Pedi because she's 4 and her service took 30 minutes... My sister and I were not so lucky. Mid manicure, the receptionist came over to tell our nail techs that their next appointment was here and that our time was up. Apparently, since we wanted Mickey designs on our nails, and it was not part of our original request, we couldn't do it. My sister was halfway through her design, so she's here with one hand done and the other not. I at least was lucky enough that the tech hadn't started the design so I just have plain nails that I could've done at home. The way this was handled was so unprofessional. When I showed the tech my design at the beginning of my appointment she should've said she couldn't do it. She clearly had no idea that she was booked back to back therefore could not complete the full service. The receptionist could not be bothered to accommodate me and the only option I was given was to "wait until someone was available" even though I had been there for close to 2 hours.
