I had an appointment, but the girl I had the appointment with was not available. I waited for someone else for about 10 minutes and finally someone came out of the back room. She did not greet me and I tried to ask her name, but I don't think she understands English. She did not try to talk to be at all which was fine. She seemed like she didn't really want to be there. She made my toes bleed and kept digging at my toes which was painful. I have spent the past 2 days putting peroxide and neosporine cream on my toes they hurt really bad. So I've been here like six or seven times now and every single time, my nails chip within a couple of days. I do not work with my hands and do literally nothing that should cause a gel manicure to chip. At my previous place, my nails wouldn't chip for three weeks (I normally go every two weeks but on one occasion it was three weeks and they were fine). They just use the worst quality products. And why do I keep going? I have no idea. What's the point of a gel manicure if it's going to wear like a basic manicure? Make it make sense. Update: Entire nail is peeling off. I don't get why their products are such poor quality? A gel manicure that can't even make it past day three without chips? I'm so annoyed. Now if I want it fixed, I have to go there and have the confrontation and you're always made to feel in the wrong and like you're unreasonable. Wow... I've been here many times and each time I've gone to see Jenny. She does amazing work, however tonight, my scheduled appointment was for Jimmy because Jenny was fully booked (understandably so--she does a damn good job). I had scheduled my appointment days ago and it was rescheduled to be with Anthony on the day of, which is fine but makes me think they don't pay close enough attention to their own availability and limits. Anyways, back to the point. Long story short. I go to get a deluxe pedicure and a gel polish/fill. The pedicure: sloppy and actually quite painful. The young lady (who also was pretty unprofessional--complaining about the types of customers she dislikes), managed to literally scrape my heels RAW. Maybe the polish job made up for it? No. Mediocre at best. The fill: Anthony (who took over for Jimmy) re-sculpted my nails according to lovely acrylic standards. However, when it came time for the polish, he quit out of sheer frustration and told me he'd let Jenny finish me. Jenny (along with every other worker) was busy with another customer so I sat and waited. And waited. And waited. For 20 minutes. Reminder: my visit was a SCHEDULED appointment. I asked Jenny to please take off my half-finished/half-smudged/still sticky polish. Thankfully, she did. I'm so irritated because the skill (some of the employees carry) is spot-on. But the customer service was horrible. No customer wants to be passed around like a piñata and that's exactly what I was tonight. Will not be returning. Word of advice to business owners: Don't overbook yourself to where you are having to move customers from person to person (there needs to be structure. Jam-packing the salon will not result in happy customers who get mediocre/rushed work) and do NOT lie to a walk-in client that it will be a "10 minute wait" for a mani-pedi when EVERY manicure and EVERY pedicure station is FULL. Cherry on top: I was still charged $70 for a crappy job and my nails not even painted (at all. No polish whatsoever). I should have refused. read more

I show the technician a picture, and asked him if he was able to do thin nails and make them look natural, his answer was yes. When I was done they looked very thick and uneven also very square when the picture I showed him was an oval shape. After living and spending $40 dollars plus tip, I was not happy at all. I called and complain to the manager Nessi. She told me to go back and she was going to fi them. To make the story short, my nails didn't look the way I wanted and the day after the gel stated chipping. They use to do a great job ...not anymore! She was not happy about redoing my nails. I'm expecting my first child so I've been trying to save money. With that, I've been looking for a new nail salon since my usual spot is a bit too expensive these days ($55 for a regular mani/pedi, which I do twice a month). My criteria for a new place is that they must use pedicure tub liners and have decent pricing. I made a post and received a suggestion for Nails With Love. I'm going to be in the minority here but I just got back from an average, at best, experience at Nails With Love. First, the not-so-good: When I called two days ago, I requested a 10am appointment. They told me no, but they could do a 9:30. No problem, I thought. When I arrived at 9:25 there was one man waiting ahead of me for a pedicure, and they told me to wait just a couple minutes for them to get a tub set up. In the meantime, 2 people walked in - one seemed to be a walk-in and I wasn't sure if the other had an appointment. I was placed in a pedicure chair, and the 3 other people were already receiving their treatments. I was waiting for someone to come do my pedi. Around 9:45 a gentleman (owner, I think?) told me the girl who was scheduled to take me was running late (I was already 15 minutes in to my appointment time). I reluctantly replied "OK". It was 9:55 by the time we got the show on the road, and I wondered why they couldn't accommodate my request for a 10am appointment in the first place, and why I waited 20 minutes before being informed that they couldn't accommodate me on time. During my pedicure the technician cut the cuticle on my left big toe a little bit too far down. It made the rest of the pedicure a little painful (especially during pregnancy, with all the extra swelling and blood flow to the area). Lastly, on a few of my nails, the polish bubbled up pretty badly when it dried. What causes that? It doesn't look great. The good: The salon appears very clean and hygienic. They use pedicure tub liners which is a necessity for me to even try a place these days. All the tools came out of sealed bags so I'm pretty sure they're all well-sanitized before use on customers. And the techs use gloves. (That's why I didn't make a big deal about the nick on my toe - I don't see infection being a worry here). The prices are very good - $35 for a mani/pedi, which is typical for the area. But I really appreciated my first-timer 20% off yelp check in offer, and the 10% off that I'll get on subsequent visits. It makes the price for a regular mani/pedi the best around. Everyone, including my nail tech, was pretty friendly and accommodating. I was offered water while my nails dried, and my nail tech offered to do my manicure right in the pedicure chair so I didn't have to get up and switch spots. At 9 months pregnant, this was much appreciated! I'll give this place another try because you all seem to like it very much. I think it was just an "off" day. I want to love it, too, so I hope my next experience is better. read more

Upon entering this establishment on 12/29/18 I had to wait for someone to look up to acknowledge me. I informed them that I had made an appointment for a pedicure, and was told to pick a color. After picking my color I was led to a chair by a male employee. He never said one word to me. He did not ask if the water was ok ( it was cold). He did not tell me his name. He did not ask if I would like a beverage (the other guests had bottled water). The other guests had the jets on in their tubs to massage their feet and create bubbles (mine was never turned on). After applying the polish and top coat, another employee teller the lady next to me that he is going to help he file down her nails. He did not say anything to me whatsoever, he just got up and walked away and began to do someone else's nails. I sat there patiently waiting for help to put my shoes back on, after he was finished with the other lady. And was ignored while the other employees just sat on the couch on their phones. I figured I was finished so I text my husband to come help me put my shoes back on. And as he's bending down to help me, THEN the employee that did my pedicure wanted to come over and give me the little foam flip flops to put on. I then got up and went to the counter to pay, and promptly left. As for the pedicure, it could have been better. I chose a light pink that needed at least two coats of polish and he only did one, then applied a top coat. He globbed so much polish on on the first coat it all shifted while it was drying. Overall the place is decorated nicely and has a nice ambiance, however the employees are so cold and off putting it makes you feel uncomfortable. I won't be back. Idk what you have to do to be treated decently at a nail shop nowadays. Save your time and money and go elsewhere. Wish I could rate zero stars. read more

I have to say that Las Vegas/Henderson is the most difficult place to find a good nail salon. I have lived here for five years and have yet to have had an experience worth coming back for......until I found nails with love! They are the most friendly, down to earth staff and they take amazing care of you. I am usually writhing in pain when my ingrown toenail( sorry! Tmi) is removed, but they really do have such a light touch and don't rush you through anything. My manicurist even showed concerned for my nails when I requested acrylic, and suggested gel even though we were already started and it would mean more work for him!! I get a call 30 minutes before saying they cant do it because they are short staffed because a nail tech is off today. Online I selected any nail tech and apparently I requested a guy which I didnt. The first time I came here I had made an appointment for a full set with gel and a gel pedi. They totally forgot about my pedicure, which ended up being fine with me because my bill for the full set was RIDICULOUS. The girl got me left and right for things I didn't know would be extra and she failed to make me aware. The gel color I chose was a shimmery pink. Well it turned out to be a pink base with a shimmer coat on top! So she charged me for TWO colors. . . She told me my nails would look better with a slimmer tip so I let her do her thing. And she charged me for a special shape. I can't recall the other ways she swindled me, but it made my bill more than I pay for a full set AND a pedi anywhere else. I decided to give the place one more shot. This time I knew to say NO to anything they offered. Halfway through the full set a customer walked in and wanted to request the nail tech working on me. So she rushed through the rest of my service! I had picked a red gel, and she cheated me a coat! Do you know how streaky and bad red looks when its not had enough coats? She should have been ashamed! New customer to this shop my girlfriends actually recommended this place for me since it's close, I was told wait 5 min after I had told them I wanted ombré powder full set. They had one person in the salon who could do this, which was busy but I was willing to wait until she was done. One of the guys asked that girl how long it would be until she was done with her current client and the girl just looks at me and says I have another client after this lady. The guy then pulls up the schedule to see if she had any appointments, but she didn't in the system. She then proceeded to look at her phone and say no I know not in the system but my own client might come in and she gets off work at 2:30 so idk. What bothers me is that not only did they make me wait instead of just saying they weren't Available but then the staff gets to decide if they even want you as a client or not basically lol. Which is pretty ridiculous to me. A client that is in the shop should get serviced before u have to text and find out if your friend is even coming in. Sounds unprofessional and she didn't even txt her friend asking so I just felt like she just didn't wanna work on me. But honestly I would invest my money into somewhere with professionalisms. I had an appointment but after my text reminder that I had an appointment for Sunday and they still got my name wrong after I spelled it to the girl on the phone goes to show that they either don't care or they really don't understand English and I speak proper clear English and am very articulate in speaking but seeing a place that can not get your name right after spelling it 5 times shows the language barrier I was born here you were not learn to speak English I do not need to change or speak your language but you on the other hand do, I've been to many nail salons in my city since I was 15 years old I'm 44 and still get my nails done and from now on will only go to the best of the best of places that will not sit their and speak their language and talk shit behind the customers back yes I speak multiple languages but choose not because it's rude they think because we are American that we don't know what they are saying im fluent in Korean Vietnamese Filipino I learned this language because of the men I dated and learning to communicate with their families I also speak Spanish read more
