I got my nails done here before getting engaged and Sony did an incredible job with my gel-x. I brought an inspo pic for a milky French, not knowing what colors it would take, and they chose for me and replicated it beautifully. The salon was not overly quiet and had nice music playing, and we got free mimosas for the special occasion. My friend who came with me unfortunately didn't have as positive of an experience with her builder gel manicure (had bits of red polish un-cleaned up on her cuticles and gave her a regular pedi when she wanted a gel), but we think with any salon it just comes down to finding the right artist. We will be back and seeing Sony again!

The customer service was good, but unfortunately my nail technician lacked the necessary experience. She accidentally cut the skin on both of my big toes during the pedicure, and the nail polish application was uneven and poorly done. I'm really disappointed with my experience here. I called at 10AM to book a group appointment--one gel builder service with Sarah and one gel pedicure--and was told the only available time was 6pm, which I agreed to. When we arrived on time at 6pm, Sarah was available, but instead of honoring our appointment, she chose to take a walk-in client who was upset about waiting. We ended up sitting there for about 20 minutes without any clear communication or resolution, and ultimately decided to leave. I completely understand that walk-ins can be part of the business, but it's frustrating to make an appointment, show up on time, and not be prioritized. It felt unprofessional of Sarah and inconsiderate of our time, especially since we planned ahead. I hope the salon can improve how they handle appointments versus walk-ins, because this experience definitely discouraged me from coming back. read more

My first mistake was going to a new nail place to try and save money on my gelx my second mistake was coming in two hours before close and my third mistake was coming back to get said gelx taken off. Hany did the application and was super nice but terribly sloppy - I had crooked extensions, flooded cuticles, and a lumpy looking nail bed. After removal my nails were thin and brittle for months- I've never had ny nails react so badly to an application. Sticking to my regular nail place from now on. read more

I came here for a gel-x manicure because it was nearby and the prices were great ($75). I called 45 minutes ahead and they were able to see me. Tracie did my manicure. DO NOT SEE TRACIE. She applied a gelx extension, and it wasn't straight, so she proceeded to rip the extension off my nail after she cured it. It was so painful and my nail still hurts. I screamed "ouch omg!" and only then did she cut the nail off of me. I've never had someone try to rip an extension off after curing it. During the rest of the manicure she filed too close to my skin, ripping it, and kept going even after I told her it hurt. She never apologized and seemed to have a bad attitude about it all. I like my manicure but I was anxious and worried the entire time. Nice place, just don't see Tracie. read more

Nailtique is it beautiful nail salon right in the heart of Los Feliz. The salon is huge and well staffed. They offer drinks ranging from mimosas to bottled water. I have been there twice and will continue to support this local business. A special shoutout to Hany and Riel. They did an excellent job! I randomly found this place on yelp and got an appointment same day at the time I wanted. I've been looking for a new nail spot that isn't overly expensive and I think I've found my new spot! Joyce helped me out and she was so so good!!! Very patient and made sure my nails came out exactly how I wanted. This place is very big with lots of chairs and it's clean. There was great, relaxing music to listen to which drowned out any other noise- but it wasn't too loud! Since it's a facial, your eyes are closed the whole time- and so is everyone else's- so it actually felt much more private than I expected. They also provide a private changing room and a lockable locker for your belongings, so I was able to change into a robe and feel completely at ease- no need to worry about keeping your shirt on in an open space. Lani was awesome and walked me through every step of the process, explaining what she was doing and how each treatment would benefit my skin, but I never once felt bothered or pulled out of my relaxed state. It was honestly the most gentle facial I have ever had. While the masks were setting, she massaged my hands and shoulders, which was a lovely touch that really elevated the whole experience. I did get a little chilly, but that is entirely on me- I run cold! Next time I will just ask for an extra blanket! This kind of care and attention made the whole experience feel truly personalized. I left feeling great and will absolutely be coming back. Highly recommend!

Pricing as of March 2025 Custom Thai massage - $60 Which is the one I got. I really enjoyed it and got once a masseuse listened to what I said, I told her soft (my normal pressure is medium but I was scared). But it was too soft! So I told her a little harder. I've been having issues with my back pain since turning 30, so she actually went hard on that area. She told me she would go hard on that area because I had too many knots and soft/medium on my lower body. In terms of pressure, it was still tolerable but definitely a lot more pressure. She was able to get all of my knots out and gave me a great stretch! Normally when I get massages, although I go to a "Thai" place, I feel like it's all been watered down aka they just mean the pressure but not really the technique. This place is not that place. As you can see by the photos, there's a bar that they can hang onto. But she even sat in front of me while I was laying down to use her legs to massage my arms and shoulders (to have better reach). Honestly it's quite remarkable how much body control she has!!! anyway, I really liked the warm towels that they put on you, there were some that she used to wipe the lotion off my back during the massage and then three more towels she used after the massage, 2 she placed on my shoulders while I was sitting upright. Anyway all in all, it was a great massage. I do agree with some of the other reviewers, at the front I asked if I could leave a tip with card. They take payment upfront and when i didn't add tip, they seem surprised... but I have never added tip BEFORE receiving the service. As long as you have zelle or cash, you can tip after the service.

Started coming back in the spring of this year and have been highly disappointed with the work Courtney has been doing. Also had a fill canceled on me two days before i was supposed to come in during a weekend i had an important event. After i found a different salon to go to since my appointment got canceled, ive realized that GBY is not a good salon at all. The new salon i went to wouldn't even do the fill for me because they said i don't have many natural lashes left and if they did a fill on me then it wouldn't last. I had no choice but to have them remove what was left on my lashes and i purchased a growth serum after being advised to take a month long break to grow my lashes back and return for a real individual lash set. I'm extremely disappointed in GBY as they've not only been charging hundreds of dollars for lash extensions made with cheap products but Courtney rushes through appointments and she uses hella clusters on what is supposed to be an individual lash set. They don't care about being honest with clients and that is a huge red flag for me.

My feet have been through it the last couple of years (sports) and I wanted to get serious about caring for them properly, not just getting them painted. Of course, I turned to Yelp for the scoop and zeroed in on Ms. Glen's Therapeutic Manicures & Pedicures. I finally got a chance to go see Ms. Glen and it was everything I wanted and more. It was relaxing (I fell asleep)! It was restorative! My feet felt and looked healthy and cared for. I didn't get polished which is great because I have been wanting to go natural for a while to let my nails breathe and focus on what's really happening with my toe nail health. So may things I loved (in no particular order): - Very communicative from the appointment (via phone) to the confirmation and directions (via text) - Ms. Glen greeted me at the door - The studio smells divine (really sets the tranquil mood) - The studio was intimate (just me - yay) - The space was very clean (I am a stickler for clean) - There was a complimentary water waiting on me - Ms. Glen has developed her own techniques and products which speaks to her dedication and specialization (I love people who are passionate about what they do!) - Every step of the treatment was appreciated! (very detailed, very attentive, think - pampering your feet from the in-depth massage to the parrafin to the soaks to the grooming and much much more) - I got socks! This was such a special and much needed last step that I never knew I needed. It made my feet more comfortable and protected after such a beautiful treatment. She even asked me my size. How's that for customer service! - Now this one may seem trivial but I never had to hold my feet up during the treatment unless I was transitioning from the bowl to a towel. I do not like having to do that while someone attends to the bottom of my feel or heels. Ms. Glen has it worked out where I can truly relax the whole time. I also left with one of Ms. Glen's therapeutic hand and foot oils in Lemon. She makes the oils herself! It smells so good and leaves a refreshing but not overpowering scent. It feels good oiling my feet every night. Like another reviewer said, this is not your run of the mill pedicure shop. This is a therapeutic service that is worth every penny. My goal is to make this a regular treatment. If my feet are healthy, I am healthier! Thanks Ms. Glen for such a wonderful experience! I'll be back. If your feet are in need of TLC, renewal and restoration, Ms. Glen has a carefully curated service that will leave your feet feeling brand new. I had recently purchased a soap that helps with skin discoloration. It hasn't been making any improvement in the uneven skin tone and dark marks on my feet. Turns out I just needed an appointment with Ms. Glen. The exfoliation she provided literally rubbed away 15 years from my feet. My dry scratchy heels were left supple and smooth and the calloused areas were left soft. Had I known what I was in store for I would have taken before and after pictures. She even provided socks for me to leave in, to seal in the moisture. My favorite part hands down was the massage. She kneaded into these tired soles, and I needed that! I paid a little more than the price listed (which she does quote as a base price) but she also spent almost 2x the amount of time listed. My Fiancé noticed the difference in appearance and feel immediately. I intentionally waited until 24 hours+ had passed to write this review, wanting to see if my feet would feel just as nice. THEY DO!! Ms. Glen definitely puts pride in her work and I love how she checked in throughout the process to ensure I was satisfied along the way. I recommend her service to anyone looking to give their feet a more youthful feel and look. And if your feet have severe issues that might keep you from visiting open public salons, her private suite will help you feel comfortable and secure. Right before I left, Ms. Glen threw in a bottle of her therapeutic hand & foot oil once she saw how dry my hands were. I had discussed my upcoming nuptials with her and she wanted to make sure my hands moisturized properly for my big day, even providing a demonstration on proper application. Ms. Glen is a gem!

I trusted the front desk staff to guide me, and was quoted $80 for Gel-X, builder gel removal, and French tip. At my appointment on Friday 7/18, I was unexpectedly charged $110! I was told the card on file couldn't be used for the service--only for late fees or no-shows--which made no sense. If the salon can charge the card for penalties, why not for the actual service being provided? This was especially frustrating because the appointment was a gift for a huge accomplishment of mine, from my mother, so of course I didn't have the physical card with me. On top of that I was also charged extra for nail length without warning, and billed twice for polish: $20 for gel color and $15 for French tip, even though I only received 1 design; french tip. When I asked for clarification, staff just pointed to the online pricing--but I booked in person to avoid that confusion. The experience felt misleading. I intentionally came in person to avoid confusion and relied on the staff to guide me accurately. Unfortunately, that did not happen. I would not recommend this salon to anyone. If you're considering booking here, I strongly suggest looking elsewhere for more transparent and customer-friendly service.

I had such a great time at this nail salon! From the moment I walked in, the customer service was friendly, welcoming, and super attentive. The staff really take their time with you and make sure you're comfortable the whole visit. The Medi Pedi was relaxing, professional, and honestly one of the best I've had in a long time. Joyce is a magician. I don't usually get nail art but I may have to start getting it more because of her!!! She knocked the design out of the park! She was also incredibly collaborative during the manicure -- maybe that's a weird adjective to use to describe a manicure, but she was really receptive to any tweaks I had during the process and talked through what she was doing every step of the way. Great first impression! The studio is clean and bright. The techs are so nice and encourage you to be a part of the design process with them. They check in along the way to make sure you're happy with the shape and color. The owner Jennifer is so kind and is excited to be in our Los Feliz community.
