When I had heard about Nailvana opening closer to me, I was so excited. I don't get to treat myself often to a manicure/pedicure, but when I do, I always look for a place close and convenience. I was able to call the Nailvana literally 15 minutes before I got there to make an appointment for a pedicure. When I got there, I recognized the place wasn't too busy and that there were a few nail technicians who were available. At that point, I asked if it would be OK to also add a manicure and have them done at the same time. She said "no problem" and told me to pick out my colors. I had a cute little design that I had picked out and Kevin, my pedicure technician came right over and helped me select my colors. At that moment, the pedicure seat and water was already for me. The seats are super comfortable. The Massage chairs have a cool frame in the back for lighting purposes. The place itself is only three months new and squeaky clean. Everyone there is so friendly. They also have drinks available for purchase as well as a few complimentary beverages. Overall, the prices are affordable, parking is available in the lot, my nails and toes looked amazing, and what I loved the most, is how quick they were. I really only had an hour to spare, and I was there and back with my nails perfectly done and chose done even with the design. I am so happy to be able to call Nailvana my new nail place. I hate to leave a negative review, but I was extremely disappointed with my experience here. My partially completed service took about 90 minutes, and the majority of that time was spent removing polish, roughly filing my nails, and applying gel very unevenly. Instead of being relaxing, the service was uncomfortable and frustrating. As the appointment reached 6 PM and the salon was clearly closing, the technician began putting my shoes back on without completing the massage portion that was included in the service. When I asked about it, she responded, "Oh, I thought you were in a hurry," simply because I had shifted around in my seat during the last few minutes after sitting there for so long that my legs had fallen asleep. I immediately brought my concerns to the front desk and the person who appeared to be the owner. The only resolution offered was a $3 discount for the omitted massage portion, which honestly felt dismissive considering the overall experience. I left feeling upset that I had spent 90 minutes uncomfortable and still paid full price for a service that felt rushed, incomplete, and poorly done. I hate to leave reviews like this. I came in not even a week ago and my cuticle area is already lifting, or it was filled all the way to my cuticle. my nails keep getting caught in my hair. the lady who did them was super sweet, but i left with a few cuts around my nails from harsh filing. i paid for chrome as well, which she did apply, but after a lot of top coats you can't even see it anymore. i wanted to give this place a shot cuz of the social media posts ive seen. but i sadly won't be coming back read more
