Beware of Golden Nails. This was the worst experience ever! My mom treated myself, my daughter (she is 9) and herself to mani/pedi for my birthday (the end of May). Total for all 3 of us was $260. While on vacation within 4 days of getting the gel mani/pedi my nail polish lifted from the end of my nails (cuticle). I only have 1 nail left painted. Did not even last a week. My daughters gel nail polish has all come off as well. My mother received a gel french manicure and her french manicure is chipping as well. Alot of money spent on mani/pedi that didn't last 1 week. They were not busy at all, 2 people working on each of us at a time. Very poor quality for the amount of money spent. UPDATE: In response to the owners comments below. I would have contacted you but we left for vacation 2 days after my birthday and just returned this Wednesday. How was I supposed to contact you to fix all three sets of our nails when we were out of the state for the entire time? Recently moved to the area and was in desperate need for some TLC. My acrylics were super overgrown and I hadn't had a pedicure in quite a while. I called on a Saturday morning to see if they had availability - fully expecting to be told to come the following week - but to my surprise, they said they could get me in at noon! (Fantastic!) Upon my arrival, I was greeted quickly by a friendly lady behind the desk. She checked me in and I picked out a color. I did not have to wait long before I was brought back to a pedicure chair. I fully expected them to only be able to do one service at a time, but alas - another pleasant surprise, as they informed me they would be doing my fill and pedicure at the same time (I love when they can do that - makes me feel extra pampered). Both personnel working on me were friendly and did an excellent job. The lady working on my nails was especially personable and did a really great job. We made some small talk and I really enjoyed my experience. The salon was clean, had an upscale vibe, and the service was great. I thought their pricing was fair as well. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We brought our daughters (ages 2 and 5) to this salon and told the staff clearly: just polish for the little one and a basic pedicure for the older one.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I was getting my own nails done in a different area and couldn't supervise, and my husband and brother-in-law -- who were with the girls -- were never informed of what was being done. Afterward, I learned that gel polish was used on my 5-year-old and 2-year-old without our consent. She was burned by the curing light and left saying she never wants to go back. Not only is gel unsafe and completely inappropriate for children this young, but doing it without consent is beyond unacceptable. [[HIGHLIGHT]]After getting ahold of the company we were told we were right there and watched everything happen and therefore didn't need approval to get the work done. Although I was busy getting my nails done unable to say anything.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Even worse, they upcharged $55 and $70 for the kids' pedicures, and gave gel to both men who thought they were just picking colors to make the girls smile. No one explained what was happening or what the charges were. This place clearly prioritized profit over ethics and safety, and I will never return. The 4/5 stars is for the pedicures. The pedicures are the BEST here. We've gone to many places and nowhere else provides better. The shop is also very beautiful, and everyone is friendly which is a nice plus. However, I've dropped one star because I've given up on getting my nails done here. I've seen and tried many people for short almond nails with occasional design. I can't seem to find anyone that can provide consistent quality of shape + design. I don't think it's fair that it's inconsistent and I do think that customers are probably getting charged more or less every time they go. I tried this place for a pedicure before family arrived. I called and scheduled an appointment. I waited briefly before I was placed in the chair and then again waited briefly while in the chair. Everything went well and I was out in a timely manner. I believe the gentleman that did my pedicure's name was T. He was funny and friendly. The one thing that I did not like was an extra charge if I used my credit card, so I ended up paying with my debit card instead.
