Visit this restaurant today for the second time ( first visit was a few months back) and I was reminded why this is one of my favorite bbq locally owned restaurants in town. Wayne (maybe is the business owner) was extremely welcoming from the time I entered the restaurant until I left. The quality of the meats is amazing and makes you wish you had more. Most of the side dishes are excellent- Mac and cheese, veggies. Cornbread and beans could improve on the recipe. If you are looking for some excellent local bbq place and meet some of the most friendly staff make sure you give this place a try. Kudos to Wayne again! read more

Some damn good brisket happening here. Got mine sliced, part of the two meat platter with two sides. Fork tender, seasoned well, and easily the best thing I ate here. Hot links had a nice snap and a spicy kick. Sides were decent, but could use some tweaking. Sauces were more complex than I expected. So glad we found this BBQ place! Looking forward to going back when we have another Doctor appointment in the area! The meat on my pulled pork sandwich was tender and not stringy. The bun was soft and easy to manage. I had the sweet BBQ sauce and it was perfect! Potato salad was different, but good. Not too many weird added ingredients. Ok since this whole frickin "Pandemic" hit the scene I haven't been able to dine in weekly for my brisket. The Brisket King no likey. The shifts at Costco have really picked up and the bowling alley has also closed so I'm left with few options. Then suddenly it hit me. Wii bowling and takeout. Combining my two loves into one magical night. I picked up a 6 pack of some Barg's Rootbeers and ordered some takeout. The brisket was still HOT after the 20 minute drive home. WOW. Now see I'm no scientist but they must have some smart guys n gals in the back making sure the brisket stays both hot and doesnt dry out. The sauce reminded me of Gila Bend, my hometown. Went here with friends, and it was great! The staff was super friendly and informative. We had a great meal and didn't even have food left to take home. Definitely a place we will go again, and possibly keep the trend going by bringing a new couple with us next time. read more

This place is awesome. First of all my kids giggled for about a good 20 minutes when I told them where we were going. We stopped by on our way home to LA. The service was awesome. Oren, the owner, is the man. Everyone is super friendly and the line zips along briskly. As for the main event, it did not disappoint. I'd recommend the brisket, which was perfectly smokey and fatty at just the right amount. We also got a sample of the turkey, which was out of this world juicy, which I did not expect for BBQ turkey. The ribs were also real thick and meaty. Can't go wrong with any of those. Overall though, it operates at the speed of a fast food place, with kid friendly atmosphere, but seriously legit BBQ that you'd expect from a much more expensive place. We came here and got two sandwiches: Brisket and Pulled Pork. It was 8 bucks for each sandwich and a side - we both chose mac and cheese. The sandwich was ok, I didn't find it to be super flavorful. The meat was decent but we didn't care for the bread at all. It was dense and dry and really made the whole experience - dry. I did end up putting some of the BBQ sauce they had on it and it made it a bit more tolerable. I found the mac and cheese to be the best part of the meal. Overall it was decent. I wasn't blown away by the taste, price, serving size or side. It's not something I'd go out of my way to get again. Perhaps the plates/combos are the better choice but the sandwiches just didn't do anything for me. read more

This would be my first visit and the reviews looked good enough for a lunchtime visit! The location is hard to find as it is tucked in a corner suite behind Lamar donuts and next to a tattoo shop. Either way the service was quick and the meal was fresh, light and delicious . This is not like any other BBQ place, in that once I was done with my meal which consists of a brisket sandwich, a side or potato salad and sweet sauce was light ! Not like other places that serve the same kind of food to where I feel like a pig, no pun intended. I will definitely be returning to try out the pulled pork and a variety of side dishes ! read more

Excellent BBQ! The sweet BBQ sauce was amazing and I put it on everything. Good size portions as I got the two meat platter ($14) with two sides: sliced brisket, pulled chicken, veggie of the day (broccoli), mac and cheese and a small corn bread muffin. The only negative I have is that the cornbread muffin was a tad dry but nothing a little of the sweet BBQ sauce couldn't fix. Past reviews have complained about the mac and cheese being watery at the end, so I let it sit and saved it for last, adding some of the sweet BBQ sauce to it. Phenomenal. Brisket was delicious, good smoke flavor on it, chicken was juicy, and as I said before I would use that sauce on anything. read more

We have catered from here and Glendale several times and last time for a group which was half Texans and half North Carolinians - states both know. For BBQ! We love BBQ. This place is legit. I had the brisket, sliced and it was tender with a beautiful pink ring and the ribs which needed no sauce. They were tasty just as they were. Hubster had brisket, chopped and ribs. The mac n cheese was a hit with all of us. The beans were tender, flavorful and well seasoned. Both bbq sauces were warm and tasty. Get the pickles. My family and I are from it of town staying with some friends. We found this place on Yelp and decided to check it out because of all the great reviews. It's located in a small strip mall and a little hidden behind a donut place but it's there! Super simple menu and options but because the aroma is so mesmerizing when you walk in I was overwhelmed because I wanted everything. I ended up getting a two meat platter with sliced brisket and pulled pork. For my two sides I chose Mac and cheese and veggie of the day which was garlic green beans. It also came with a mini corn muffin. Nothing disappointed my taste buds! Flavors were the perfect amount of smokiness and sweetness and melted in my mouth. I tried a little of all the sides-sweet, spicy, vinegar, and mustard. My favorite was the mustard sauce even though they said that one is more for poultry and sausages. I'm not even a big mustard fan but I thought it was pretty tasty. Finally, we ordered the banana whipped cream for dessert-my husband's request and in his opinion he said it was really good. Not too sugary or fake banana flavor. It was really fresh tasting. They also gifted us with a maple bacon donut which was so nice of them. The donut was the perfect sweet and savory combination for me. And let me just tell you a little bit about the staff. Everyone in there had amazing customer service and I felt they genuinely were happy working there. Everyone seemed like they were all buddies in a backyard just having a get together. And I think that's pretty awesome. I heard they were opening up another location that will be bigger and have alcohol so if you're in town or a local check it out. Had the ribs, they practically melted in my mouth! Tasted all of the savory rub and the smoky flavor, hmmm wished I got a whole rack. My son and wife shared the brisket and smoked turkey. They said they were awesome. Sides were great also; I had the beans, and tried their coleslaw (creamy style, but they also have another style but didn't try it). This is some damn good BBQ. Southern style. Pulled pork sandwich was flavorful and had large chunks of pork that was juicy and tender. Spicy and sweet bbq sauce station to choose from to add flavor. Spicy was light and tangy with a bit of sweet. Not spicy enough for me. Carolina Cole slaw was vinegar based and had some spice to it as well. Not your traditional slaw but was delish. My only negative is the should invest in a bun warmer. You get piping hot meat and warm bbq sauce but the damn bun is COLD. Guys if you're reading this......get a bun warmer. My only complaints Laing is the temperature, which was warm, but not hot. But it wasn't enough to deduct a star. I haven't ate here in years and noticed they were on Uber Eats so decided to go all out. I got a 2 meat plate with chopped brisket and ribs with beans and potatoes salad for the sides. Next I got a hot link sandwich with Mac n cheese, and extra order of cornbread and banana pudding. Just popped in here to get dinner tonight and am so so happy I did. We are huge fans of brisket and Naked BBQ delivered! I was greeted by all the kind employees upon entering and they answered all my questions happily. It was a great environment in there and the food was incredibly tasty. New favorite bbq joint!! The brisket was melt-in-your-mouth good and was smoked to perfection. We thoroughly enjoyed all the sauces (the mustard bbq was my favorite) and the sides were top notch (especially the potato salad and mac & cheese!). Also have to note that the Carolina style cole slaw is a must try, it has such good flavor and a good kick, it paired so well with the brisket! Tried it out today. Was disappointed my Brisket sandwich was serviced on an ice-cold bun. The BBQ sauce was cold. If I'm going to eat a BBQ sandwich I would expect the Bun and BBQ Sauce to be warm/hot. I also order a pound of pork ribs, a couple of them tasted great, they tasted like pork ribs and the others tasted like ham. My guest ordered a Chicken Caesar Salad, it was a good size salad but came with no croutons. There was nothing special about the chicken.
