Frasher's Smokehouse is definitely worth a visit for any BBQ lover! I had a great experience here, and I'm already planning my next trip back to dive deeper into their menu. I ordered the brisket, and it was seriously tasty. It was cooked well, tender, and had that great smoky flavor you expect from a quality smokehouse. It was exactly what I was hoping for and completely satisfying. The service was friendly, and the atmosphere felt authentic and comfortable, a perfect setting for enjoying some classic BBQ. The only reason I'm holding back the fifth star is that I only tried one item! But based on the high quality of the brisket, I have high hopes for the rest of the menu. I will definitely be back soon, and I am especially intrigued and excited to try their pizza.

Tried this place on are recommendation. Good call! Tried the ribs, brisket and turkey. All were on point with good smoke flavor. The turkey was juicy and tender. The sides of beans & mac n cheese were also flavorful. We will return.

I've lived around the corner from this place for five years and have driven by a million times. Was craving BBQ and decided to give it a try, and I'm so glad we did. As soon as we sat down, the owner George Frasher came over and introduced himself. He said he owns three restaurants across the valley and gave us some great recommendations on the menu. The service was incredibly friendly and quick. The ribs melted off the bone and the sides were all delicious. The patio was lovely and there was live music. The prices were also great for the portion size. Love supporting a local business. Highly reccomend a visit if you haven't been before!

We had a friend visiting from California who is originally from St. Louis so we had to take him to Frasher's! It's the only place out here where you can get St Louis style thin crust "Imo's" pizza with the provel cheese. Provel is a combination of cheddar, swiss, and provolone. You can't get it anywhere in AZ but Frasher's! Trust me I've tried. We ordered a sausage and a veggie pizza. We ordered the St. Louis Salad with Romaine lettuce, Artichoke hearts, red onion, Provel cheese, and Parmesan Vinaigrette, Yum! We also ordered St Louis Toasted Raviolis, one meat order and one cheese. Everything was delicious and the marinara sauce that comes with the Raviolis is amazing. The pizza is thin crust and cut into small squares! We had to get a piece of St Louis Gooey Butter Cake for dessert. Our friend was over the moon with the St Louis meal.

Second time here and just love it. The food and service are top notch!! The meats are off the charts delicious and the sides are fabulous!

I am not sure why I added this to my bookamarks, but we were coming back from Sky Harbor on the way home and I suggested this place. Food: Barely edible. The pulled pork was fatty and greasy. The burnt ends ordered vs what we received was a mess. They may have run out putting them on pizzas, because my order looked like cut up brisket. Some pieces were just a fatty mess. Best part of the meal, which for the 3 of us was over $100 was the toasted bread and side of corn. Service: Understaffed and one couple sat for 10 min and just left. We should have done the same... Two waiters covering the whole place. Overall: Maybe I caught them on an off night, but food was some of the worst BBQ I have ever had. Not worth coming back. sorry.

We had high hopes. I'd seen Frasher's on the Food Network a while back and we finally had a chance to try it. I will admit I went primarily for the Burnt Ends Pizza. It's a St. Louis style pizza with the cracker crust and provel cheese. It was decent, but didn't wow me. My husband chose the 2-meat plate which is his go-to at most BBQ places. He had brisket and tri-tip. For sides, he had the garlic mashed and mac & cheese. He said the meats were ok, and the mashed potatoes were probably his favorite thing. I did try the mac & cheese and found it to be rather soupy had very little cheese flavor. That was a disappointment! It also came with toast which I found odd. I would have expected a roll or even cornbread. We also decided to split the Gooey Butter Cake and I'm so glad we didn't get a separate piece each as it was far too sweet to eat the entire slice. Service was good, and the musician playing outside was nice, but the food just wasn't our favorite and with better BBQ closer to our house, we don't anticipate that we'll be back.

I came out for a golf trip with some buddies. One of the guys picked Frasher's before our visit to pop stroke. We came in on a Saturday at 1pm. We were a party of 12 which didn't seem to be a problem since we were seated immediately. We are all from California so we were all in the dark about this place. Staff was extremely diligent on tending to our every need. I had the gumbo. Not only was it the most inexpensive thing on the menu but it was the most delicious. Spicy but not too spicy filled with their recommended turkey. Everyone else had the two meat combo sandwich plate. There were no complaints. All the boys said everything was delicious. From the Mac and cheese, corn bread, brisket, burnt ends, and tri tip. No pizza or chicken was tried during our visit but the pizza looked good, they had a fresh one on the bar as we walked in. What I really liked about our visit was when we were finished eating, our server would come up to the table and say "may I take your plate." Which to me showed great manners, growing up in California we rarely come across a kind soul. So thank you for the experience. We'll drop by again next golf trip.

We ordered our Thanksgiving turkey and ham to go. First off, the service was awesome. I wish I remembered the guy at the front (dirty blonde, caucasian) because he was awesome. He was friendly and helpful. He also grabbed another guy to help carry out the 2 turkeys and ham. Big plus is that they were the only place we could find the option to have the turkeys and ham ready to serve, i.e. no re-heating required! The turkey was smoked and delicious. The ham was some of the best ham we have ever had. It was also smoked and tender. I wish we just had Thanksgiving at Frasher's because it looked like a great relaxing and fun place to be.

A St Louis style restaurant right in Phoenix serving St Louis style pizza (thin crust with special cheese), toasted ravioli (fried raviolis) and gooey butter cake. Came on a Friday night and it was busy but not overwhelming. Super casual atmosphere. Toasted ravs tasted great and the ribs were also very good. The gooey butter cake is the owner's family recipe. I just wasn't a fan of the Mac and cheese. Service was quick and the owner came around and made sure the patrons were happy with their food. The owner ( grew up in South City St. Louis) gets his crust and Provel cheese shipped from St Louis. It's nice to have a taste of the Midwest here in the desert!

When it was delivered by an entirely different server, I said it had taken ages, she went and retrieved our ticket to find out what time the order was put in. And there lies the problem.... The order wasn't put in, until about 20 minutes after we placed it. A frustrating mistake, but a mere apology would've been sufficient. Beginners Luck is just that kind of place. Food 4.5/5 - I ordered the Crab and Shrimp Roll with fries. It was excellent and quite a portion. More than enough for a second meal. Loaded with shrimp and crab. I wasn't expecting a crab and shrimp salad but rather a mix of the two warm and buttered in the roll but it was very tasty as served. The only part that was a little off was the burned in brand on the roll the cold salad was served in. The charred flavor with the salad was a little off putting. I just pinched off the burnt bits from the bread. Excellent fries! Service 4/5 - I sat at the bar. Bartender was nice, offered regular menu and restaurant week menu as well. Meal was brought by manager, fries were still piping hot. Bartender and manager checked back to make sure meal was to my liking. Ambiance 5/5 - Cute place. Quite tasty! We just did apps: Fondue Blanc served with linguisa, pretzel bread and roasted cauliflower. The fondue was especially delicious with the cauliflower. We also had pimento cheese served with potato chips and chicharrones. My guess is that your spec is al dente which is more crunchy than fork tender. If that is truly how it is to be presented, I will bypass the roasted veggies in the future. Like I said it was my very first time doing a Yelp review and ever ordering from the original Chop Shop. Also FYI my name is Amalia, not Amelia. Thanks for the response. I ordered thru door dash the spicy Korean bowl with roasted veggies and sweet potatoes. 2/3 of the bowl was obnoxious pieces of broccoli that were basically raw. I pulled out 99% of the broccoli and I was left with very little to enjoy. The beef was very tender and flavorful and the sauce was amazing with the sweet potatoes. Just disappointing about the roasted veggies because I believe there was some kale in there and some matchstick carrots but the ratio was uneven and the broccoli was inedible. Just passing it along as someone who's worked in the food service industry for over 40 years. . I have never liked Yelp because people abuse it. I'm just leaving constructive criticism.

I really love the aesthetic of this place. First of all it's tucked on the back corner of a strip mall. The dining room is kind of a great mixture that stuff it's very industrial working with lots of concrete with open duct work, but it also has a lovely tufted Bank at and crystal chandeliers. The perfect balance and I love it. You can see into the kitchen which I also like. Our server was delightful, and I loved the attentiveness, like making sure to move the curtains when the light was hitting in an odd way. I started with a delicious drink that I think was called Mezcal Orange Fizz. It was yummy! For the first course I chose the Salmon Crudo. It had a citrus dressing and crispy rice chip. It was absolutely delicious, but very tiny. I could have licked the plate because the dressing was so yummy. My friend had the gazpacho, which she said was very good With main course I chose the Garlic-Lemon Scallops and Corn. It was four delicious scallops on polenta garnished with popcorn. What a cool surprise! It was really good! My friend had the short ribs which she seemed to like as well. For dessert, we both chose the key lime tart. It was a little bit of heaven on a plate! I really enjoyed it. The portion sizes were appropriate - - what we probably should be eating rather than the huge portions we normally get. I was able to finish everything, and I left full but not stuffed. I did remove a star because I did not like that they charged a gratuity on a check for just one person. I normally tip a minimum of 25%, but they added 18%. I just left it. I understand the need to include the gratuity with a larger party (somehow the server always seems to get the short end on those larger parties). I don't know if that's a normal thing, or a restaurant week thing because, to be honest, hubby always pays the bill. I do recommend this hidden gem of a place. It has a lot going for it and I've always enjoyed my visits here.
