We stayed at the hotel across the way. We were so hungry we just ended up at the closest place...(30 feet away) I'm glad we did. The food is great, the drinks are great. The manager was filling in as our bartender and when I requested special vegetable sushi rolls he made it happen! This place is legit AF! Great job Yelpers!! You rarely if ever let me down!! Nice, clean, friendly, knowledgable staff, great for any occasion really. Not an overwhelming amount of food. But, so much attention to detail! I had the playboy roll on recommendation of the waitress and it was fired at the table side.... Just a perfect blend of tastes.... Just take your time eating this roll and you will know what I mean. We are so used to inhaling our foods.... Just do me a favor and turn the speed down to 1/3 and it will completely change your palates appreciation of this experience! Haven't been able to try all the sushi roll here yet but the ones I did try were great. I had the playboy roll and corona roll. Both rolls had their own taste and unique flavor. This last trip was probably the only time I've had something negative to say about any if their food items. Ten plus minutes waiting at a table... No one stops by, no drinks. Nothing. Then I notice the waitress and realize she was a former employee at an unrelated business. I knew I fired her for a reason. Used to be good food, but........ Came in on Monday at 12:10PM expecting to have to wait for a table, being lunch time. Parking lot was almost empty. When seated we waited ten minutes before anyone even asked about drinks. Ordered food at the same time, as we were afraid we might not see anyone for awhile again. Keep in mind there were only three tables, counting us. One of these was getting there food when we came in, and the other had drinks already. Ordered bento boxes and a sushi roll. We ordered the playgirl roll, which is a playboy roll with crab instead of shrimp, as my wife is allergic to shrimp, which we explained to the server. At the 50 minute mark, with still no soup or salads, the server goes to get the roll and we hear her tell him that it is supposed to be with crab not shrimp, and he gets angry and says take it anyway. We tell the server to cancel it and our order. She apologized, but admits that she forgot that we were supposed to get soup and salads with our $16 bento boxes, but she could go get them. We declined and left. This place has went way downhill and we will not be returning or recommending. read more

Ordered the Crab Rangoons courtesy of Yelp for checking in. Very tasty. Great way to start the meal. My son had the Mongolian Beef. He said it was good but a bit shy on the meat. I had the Bulgoki. Never had this dish before but I expected the meat to be juicier. It was dry and not a lot of flavor. But that maybe how it is supposed to be. Probably if I saw this dish anywhere I would select something else. I did dip the meat in the left over sauce from the crab Rangoons which helped. My husband had the Jalapeño Pork & Veggie. Just moved to the Fort Wayne area and decided to give this place a try. Both my wife and I love sushi so we decided to get a few rolls and a couple of sides. The first roll we did was the California roll. Normally this is a pretty simple and tasty roll, however this one was pretty bland and lacked many real flavor. The second roll was the Fire Roll. This one would have been much better if we would have eaten it there and not got it to go. The flavor was good but the tool is tempura fried and by the time we got it home it was soggy (I'd try this one again but eat in only). The last roll we got was the Komet Roll. It sounded really good but wasn't the best. The asparagus inside seamed kind of soft so that was a little disappointing. However the spicy mayo was just right and really elevated the flavor. Lastly we ordered the crab ragoons and the steamed potstickers. Both were very tasty and I will be getting the ragoons again. The best part about this place was the customer service and how quickly we got the food. The young lady up front was extremely friendly and helpful both when I called in to place the order and again when I went to pick up the order. Stopped here after an extremely long day of twirling, and were so happy to find no wait at 6:00 on a Saturday. My daughter ordered a chicken teriyaki bento box, plentiful and clearly yummy as my 6 year old had seconds on her offer of food to him. My husband had the general tso bento box, also appeared to enjoy. I had a rice dish (official name escaping me) cooked in a clay dish designed to cook and mix together as it's eaten. It was so so good. I do wish slightly more sauce came with it. And perhaps had I asked there may have been more available. Yummy! We did also order to apps. The Korean seafood pancake, yum! I ordered the chicken teriyaki bento box and an app of calamari. Box came with chicken, white rice, veggies, and 2 deep fried potstickers, 1 crab Rangoon, and a little bitty egg roll. Calamari came with sweet and sour sauce, which sucks, straight from a bottle, and they must be running out of it...thankfully. I almost confused the calamari for burger King onion rings, but then I thought, this flavor you can only get from freezer burnt seafood. The portions were small, and I'm not a super heavy eater but I did pay well over 40 but through waiter on the way. Box was like 17 and calamari was like 8. I received 2 thin slices of carrot and 3 small broccoli florets. Its more of a garnishment at that point. The flavor on the chicken is decent, if only I had enough to sake my hunger. Oh yeah it came with miso soup too, tofu must be on high demand as there's hardly any of it in there. I'm writing this review with my lips still throbbing from the oh-so-delightful Sriracha burn, I really enjoy Naked Tchopstix. Sushi options are limited in Fort Wayne, at least sushi of a higher quality than Chinese buffets or grocery stores. Naked Tchopstix has, from what I can tell, the freshest and best ingredients of our other two nice sushi bars. Of course, their prices reflect that, too. My favorite is the Tai Chili roll, with crab, cucumber and avocado inside and red snapper outside, drizzled with an unusual homemade sweet-and-spicy sauce. They have other things, with names like "Mafia Roll" and "Playboy Roll" that I haven't ventured toward, and -- I swear to unagi -- a roll that includes Pop Rocks. They have a delicious miso soup that stands out from the competition, and my dining partner tells me the crab rangoon is outstanding (I can't eat gluten). If you want a cocktail, make sure you just got paid, because they are expensive! Granted, it's Fort-Wayne-expensive, but since we are only 46% the national average cost-of-living, that sets you back. Finally, check out the mochi ice cream for dessert, little balls of ice cream encapsulated in a sweet rice paste. It's only $3.99 and comes in great flavors, include green tea and mango. I should also mention they play a very strange selection of music. Bishop Allen is playing (at a pretty high volume) one minute, and the next its Creed. And then LeAnn Rimes. GREEN LIGHT GO: Wow. there aren't that many great sushi places in Indiana and even MORE so in Ft. Wayne. They just opened a Naked Chopstix there after their Indy restaurant was a hit! I love the ambiance in this restaurant and the food is authentic japanese/korean as well. The sashimi is decent and I love the variety of choices at this restaurant. The food can be altered to fit your tastes -- (i.e. you can choose how spicy your dishes are). Also, I love that some of the entrees include some side dishes that add to your dish. I personally love their soondobu, playboy roll (it comes out on fire!!), dolset bibimbop, and love the bento boxes! RED LIGHT NO!: Nothing to report! Sometimes the service is slow and the servers aren't always the friendliest. But if you get a good server the food is great! read more
