So so yummy. We got the tofu and a couple desserts! Everything was so delicious but especially the egg tart was melt in your mouth crazy good. HIGHLY recommend. The lady who helped us was super friendly as well and sweet. And such a cute inside!! I will be back!

I came across this place and had to give it a try. I was thrilled to discover that there were more Asian desserts in the area, and I wanted to try them. I got their house soy milk with 50% sweetness. They had a giant container with the soy milk, and I saw the employee scooping it into my cup. It was made in-house, and I really wanted to love it, but when I had it, I was disappointed by the quality. Do not get me wrong, it is good, but I do not think it is worth the price, as I can find a similar-tasting soy milk at my grocery store with the same flavor profile. The service was quick, and the ambiance was very nice. Great for a date or just to hang out with friends or family. I'm not sure if I will come back, but if I do, I'll try their desserts.

Nam Tao Huu is a unique Thai-Chinese diasporic shop that is soymilk centric. This spot is located in Northwest Portland where street parking will be your best bet. Inside, they have some colorful mahjong inspired decor with a couple tables for seating. For their menu, they have a selection of different drinks and eats to choose from. Wifey ended up trying the Original Soymilk and I got the Longan Slushy. Both drinks had an authentic taste with great flavor profiles. Overall, we really enjoyed the vibes of the shop and the drinks we got. All of the staff here are very friendly and welcoming. I would definitely recommend stopping by if you are ever in the area!

What an amazing place. They were so nice and helpful and gave me a couple of samples to make a decision on what I wanted. The decor is on point and the soy milk is fresh and delicious. The slushy soy milk is the perfect sweetness! I added boba which was warm and chewy, it was so delightful! Wishing I could go back now for more! Also got the taro dessert and that was so so tasty. Definitely need to give this place a try if you haven't gone!

Saw this place online and have been meaning to check it out! The store was beautifully decorated inside. I got the house milk soy milk at 50% sweet but was scared it wouldn't be sweet enough. the kind worker offered to make it at 50% and give me extra sweetener if I wanted it sweeter. 50% was perfect for me and the worker even checked up with me to see if I needed it adjusted :) the soy milk itself was good and flavorful. bold soy milk flavor but honestly nothing too special. It was around $7 for a cup which I think it quite expensive considering I can get a whole bottle for $3 bui's tofu

I love Asian desserts so I was excited to try this spot soon after their opening. The decor is so vibrant with a distinct color palette and theme, it definitely made the space fun and pop. The staff were friendly too and helped us through the menu. I've never tried this type of dessert before so I knew I had to order one of their special items: the Soymilk Slush with Toppings. The drink comes with a variety of toppings, such as red bean, jellies, chia seeds, lotus root, and pudding. The slush itself wasn't too sweet but paired with the toppings, it was the right amount of sweetness. Since the slush has a natural soy flavor, you can really taste the toppings. I can't wait to try more next time!

This spot definitely stands out with its vibrant setup like the majong on the wall give it a very eye catching look. That said, the experience didn't fully land for me beyond the visuals. I tried the classic soy milk, which was $7, and as someone who grew up with homemade soy milk (and a LOT of it), this just didn't quite hit the mark. It feels like one of those places you check out because it's popular and photogenic, but personally, there wasn't much that would bring me back. I like the concept and creativity it just wasn't quite for me taste wise.

This is a super cute spot in NW and great for lactose intolerant people! The Milo was by far the most delicious drink we tried, with its mild sweetness and chocolatey taste. The sesame balls in ginger syrup were also really delicious. The staff was very friendly and answered all of our questions.

Overall - A true gem in Portland! We'll definitely be coming back. Location - Conveniently located right on NW 23rd Ave in a can't-miss spot. Just note that parking is limited to the street only, which can be a bit tricky depending on the time of day. Service - The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. They were patient as my wife and I decided on our order and even offered us samples to help us choose--which we really appreciated. Menu/Food - My personal favorite was the Logan--whether you go with the slush or tea version, you can't go wrong. It had the perfect level of sweetness--flavorful without being overpowering. The Soybean Tea tasted just like what you'd find in Asia. We ended up choosing the Soymilk Slush with Toppings since we weren't sure if the Logan's flavor would pair well with everything, but we'll definitely try it next time! The toppings were generous and well-balanced, especially the dates, which were soft and added a nice pop of natural sweetness. Ambiance - Indescribable! It truly feels like you've stepped back in time. Great job to the team for being so creative!

Located on a cute, lively, and upscale street on the outskirts of Downtown Portland. Come prepared for street parking. The shop is small with not a lot of seating or room for standing in line. The decor is expressive with color and full of personality. The staff is on the younger side and still training since they just recently opened. They were friendly and full of smiles though. The drinks had an interesting and unique flavor that I wasn't used to. It was lacking the sweetness and creaminess I was looking for. It's possible I would have enjoyed a warm soy milk more. Along with the taste, the drinks are on the pricier side. Soy milk is a niche so it's still worth a try if you're curious.

I've been wanting to try this new soy milk place and was surprised to find that there was no wait at all when I went on a Sunday afternoon around 3pm. Although it probably helped that it was so hot out. The inside decor was so cute and colorful! I ordered a soy milk and a soy milk slush. The soy milk flavor was good and tasted like many soy milks I've had in life. But the drinks were way too sweet for my liking. The slush I couldn't adjust the sweetness even if I wanted to as it was pre-slushed. Drinks were quite expensive at $7-$8 per drink. Although I understand it is made in house and fresh, there are also other local establishments in the Portland area that offer fresh soy milk as well.

Tiny shop that is decorated very cute. They call out your order # as each item is ready, not when the full order is complete. We ordered the signature Matcha soy milk, toasted bread w/ Pandan sauce, and soy milk pudding w/ fresh fruit. We got the Matcha at 50% sweetness and the flavor was very subtle. They do recommend 100% sweetness so maybe we should have. The toasted bread is ever so lightly toasted. I wouldn't mind a little more toasting. I love the layers in the bread! That pandan sauce is amazing. I wanted to order a second dipping sauce after one taste but instead I dipped conservatively to made it last. The Soy milk pudding with fresh fruit is the perfect not too sweet dessert/snack on a beautiful day. I need to check out the other drinks so I'll be back soon.

Wow what a really unique shop to open in the alphabet district! I was intrigued to stop by when I saw the sign and didn't make it to their soft opening. Once you enter you're transported to a new place and really loved what they did with the decor and signage. I came in between an appointment so I wasn't really craving anything to eat but was surprised they serve a couple options in their case. Looking at their menu they also have a couple of sweet items like custard toasts to enjoy with their savory items as well. I ended up just trying the milo soymilk because why not relive childhood!? It was a great option to cool you down on a warm day but I also enjoyed the fact you can adjust options to be hot or iced. Staff here was also super friendly!

I really enjoyed my ube coffee with sea salt foam and my partner enjoyed his fruit tea with grass jelly. It wasn't busy while we were there, but it looks like they get a fair number of Doordash/takeout orders. While seating is pretty available, there is foot traffic around the register and the barista is busy preparing drinks. The shop itself is clean and a nice place to hang out and enjoy your drink. If you're into collectables/trying your luck, there's also 16 Gashapon capsule vending machines near the counter. Overall, our drinks were tasty and we were happy with our visit. We will be back if we're in the area.

I ended up ordering the Ice Green Tea with no sugar, just plain tea and ice. I don't know if there's cross contamination, or just being super over brewed, but the Jasmine Tea ( the green tea they use) was very very tart. I lean more toward tea quality for my boba drinks, so if you're like me, I wouldn't recommend this place if my visit is representative of their brewing capabilities. It looks like they have plenty of really sweet Milk Tea options for those who lean more toward that area though.
