My $4 piece baklava piece was only 1"x1.5", but the flavor was rich and full of the flavor of honey and pistachios. It may have been the best ever! The server was helpful in showing me items from the market on the other side of the space. I asked her many questions about the Kadaifi. I dreamed up a dessert invention inspired by Dubai Chocolate which I want to realize. She brought out her boss who was kind and able to explain the process of cooking the Kadaifi. Two thumbs up at Grand Bazaar Grocery and Bakery. I'll let you know how it comes out!

I love seeing people enjoy tea/coffee & treats outside the bazaar with friends and family. And finally we gave it a try! The people who work there are all SO friendly. They were so welcoming and the man (maybe the owner?) who helped us with the treats/tea was especially kind & helpful! We sat outside an enjoyed a Turkish delight, kataifi, and chocolate baklava with tea (we paid for a small and he gave us a large since he saw we were sharing)! Everything was so yummy and we will definitely be back and tell all of our friends! Also the produce and meat are decently priced so I'll be back to get those!

To my dismay I opened up a bag of frozen mold when I got home. This clearly had negligence sitting outside of a freezer or in a broken freezer somewhere in the chain as the product had not expired on its due date yet was covered in mold. When I got home to unbox, cut off the plastic, and put it in the oven, I noticed something was unusual about the frost. Then I saw it wasn't frost but mold. Mold everywhere. As it started to warm up it smelled awful. I will still trust the beans and spices, but it's hard to trust much else. Something went way wrong for this to happen. The entire frozen section is suspect and to a dangerous degree since it looks like frost. Either they didn't catch it or even worse they did catch it then figured they'd put it back in the freezer and try to sell it anyways. Please do an audit on all your frozen goods and frozen delivery chain, and let me know if you'd like me to try again when it's fixed.

He was incredibly welcoming, genuinely passionate about his craft, and took the time to walk us through a variety of olive oils and balsamic vinegars without ever making it feel like a sales pitch. You can tell he truly enjoys helping people find something they'll love. The shop itself has a warm, rustic charm that makes you want to slow down and browse. There is an impressive selection of olive oils and balsamic vinegars, from classic everyday staples to unique flavors that you probably wouldn't think to try until you taste them. Whether you're a serious home cook or just looking for a unique gift or something to elevate your next meal, Del Oliva is absolutely worth a visit. Metered street parking at and located in downtown Burlingame, Del' Oliva is quaint and offers gourmet olive oils and vinegars. Their products are fresh and their customer service is top tier. Immediately welcomed upon entering by the owners and shared with us a few samples and combinations of extra virgin olive oils and balsamic vinegars on tap. You can taste the fruits in their vinegars. Fantastic variations that would elevate your dishes. I picked up a lime infused olive oil and pear white balsamic vinegar. Overall, would recommend checking out for all foodies and home cooks!

I am so happy I discovered Gourmet Corner. Even in the culturally diverse Bay Area, it can be…read moresurprisingly difficult to find authentic French ingredients without driving long distances. Gourmet Corner makes it easy to enjoy real French food at home. They offer an impressive selection of French products, including sausages, charcuterie, salami, cheeses, wines, chocolates, cookies, and many other specialty items. The prices are very reasonable, and the ordering process is simple. After ordering online, I chose to pick up my order at their Campbell location. The process was simple and hassle-free. I recently purchased Raclette cheese, and it was absolutely delicious. In my opinion, it is the best Raclette I have found in the Bay Area. Today I picked up Boudin Noir along with some French sweets, and I am looking forward to trying them. What really stood out to me was the excellent customer service. The staff is incredibly friendly, responsive, and flexible. They went out of their way to help, making the entire experience smooth and enjoyable. For first-time visitors picking up an order at the Campbell location, the pickup location can be a little tricky to find. Look for the large building with the American Barbell gym at the entrance. Facing the building, there is a small entrance on the far right side with designated pickup parking spaces. Once you arrive, call to let them know you're there, and they will bring your order out to your car. One helpful tip: wine shipments arrive on Tuesdays and Fridays, while many of the other food items are typically kept in stock. After your order is confirmed, pickup is often available without having to wait specifically for those delivery days. I also learned that Gourmet Corner regularly participates in local farmers' markets throughout the Bay Area. It's always nice to support a small business that brings authentic French products directly to the community and helps people discover the flavors of France close to home. If you love French food, French culture, or simply want to recreate an authentic French meal at home, I highly recommend Gourmet Corner. Shopping here feels like stepping into a French gourmet market without leaving California. I'll definitely be ordering again very soon!

Since it was a warm day and one of the items I bought was butter, they offered an ice pack so my butter would survive the trip home. I would definitely shop here again.
