Don't let the outside of this location fool you! Once inside it's a smaller fine in area, not the fanciest place but has original warmth and coziness of a a good diner. Food selection is pretty awesome and for bubble tea you can opt for almond milk for non-dairy. Service was a tad slow because the place was hopping with dine in and carry out. But our waiter was superb. Our order consisted of: Summer Rolls (2)1 Mi Xao and tufu Bun Bo Hue$14.75 Banh Mi w/LG Stone Cross Farms Pork Red Curry Chicken (hormone free) Thai Tea Boba Pho Tenderloin (Tai) Nomake Mighty swell cherry Everything was to par and more. Now that I know where his place is; I'll be back!

Still my favorite fried rice in Lou! I always order all the ginger dressing and drown it while also adding jalapeños. Yum!

I have been eating here regularly since about 2017 and I can't say enough good things about this place. It's family owned and run and Chris who works the FOH is awesome! The service is top tier here because for example if I call and no one picks up Chris will call me back to get my to go order and he also remembers small details about my order like no fish sauce or sub almond milk. I can't get better service anywhere in this city. The food is obviously delicious which is why I continue to support this small family business going on 8 years. My go tos are the rice platter, green curry and red curry noodles but everything I've tried has been spectacular. The taro tea is a must try and if you like coconut their coconut boba tea slaps. This place is definitely a hole in the wall with limited seating but none of that matters when the food and service is a 10/10. Best ginger dressing in town!

We ordered bún bò Huế and bánh xèo. The bún bò Huế didn't have thick noodles which was a bit disappointing. I also asked for mam ruoc (shrimp paste) but the person manning the front didn't know what it was and just said that's a question for some other lady who was not there. Confusing. The bánh xèo was deconstructed; I received the "crepe" portion separate from the stuffing then I combine the two. Such a strange way to serve it.

Every time I've eaten here the food has never disappointed or wavered in quality. Family owned and down to earth service. Couldn't recommend this place enough!

My wife and I took out 9 year old for Lunch today to Namnam. They now had Honey Bobba Tea. My son ordered that and said it was the best he's ever had. We also ordered the Imperial Rolls and a summer Roll, Tofu Binma Sandwich and 3 orders of Pho: Combination Meat, Tofu and shrimp Pho. All smelled delicious and huge portions with side of lime and Chinese Basil plus bean sprouts. Everything else as fresh, hot and generous portions. This has to be the best Vietnamese Restaurant in Louisville and only 2nd to the one I go to in St Louis. Look at the pictures and you be the judge.

A delightful dining experience from start to finish. I visited with my aunt, and we were both thoroughly impressed by the flavorful dishes and excellent service. Special thanks to our server, Chris, whose attentiveness and warmth truly enhanced the evening. Highly recommended.

Freshly prepared shrimp fried rice served steaming hot. Delicious!

Ambiance: cute hole in the wall place. The food has gotten expensive but most of everything I've eaten from there has been delicious! Service: Excellent. Make sure to order online if you want to get your food on time. Sometimes that they are busy with online orders that you might have to wait 5-15 minutes in your car. They usually bring your items to your car. Food: Overall pretty tasty and well prepared. One time though the large Vietnamese Crepe was WAY over cooked and burnt so have been hesitant to order it again. I wish the amount of the green curry was a lot more for the cost. The other entrees, you do receive the quantity and quality for your buck. My go to entrees: The BEST - shrimp fried rice. Their shrimps are plump and juicy. The fried rice itself is really tasty and seasoned well. Can't get enough. Buddha Roll Namnam Roll Green Curry Vermicelli Bowl with Imperial Roll

me & my pup were very satisfied - look at her smile! my very first Bahn Mi didn't disappoint, taste so refreshing & savory. I'll definitely be coming back for more. Server was super accommodating & friendly with my pittie, he even gave her couple pieces of beef and bowl of water. We ate outside and didn't have to wait long for our drinks and food. Food for the Soul!!!

Tofu tacos and Buddha rolls are hella good! Great low key spot for casual eats. They have beer options too.

First impressions: very clean facility, very warm and welcoming owner (Trieck was his name) and his adorable daughter doing homework by the cash register. He very kindly explained how he understands that vegetarian pho does not have meat And that he has the Buddhist version of the pho that his mom eats. I ordered to go because I wanted to run next door to their grocery section. I love me a good Vietnamese grocery store and products from all over the world. Pho is typically eaten at the establishment to make sure that the fix-ins and the method of consumption is 10 on 10 aka it does not hold very well when transported. I was happy to find that they had done such a great job packaging all the fixings and the soup. Very generous portions. I proceeded with the taste test. I have learned from my Vietnamese friends that you never add condiments to your soup right off the bat. You must savor the soup the way it is the first couple times to truly get all the flavors in before you start adding stuff . This was excellently seasoned broth base. The base was just perfect to me. After creating the whole experience at home, I can say I truly did enjoy eating pho from here. Good vegetarian phos are hard to come by and I will definitely return to try their other delicacies. If I had a couple words of wisdom, I think the soup could use a few more pieces of vegetables and tofu. But overall, I throughly enjoyed my meal and will return.

Food was ok and the portions were too small for the cost. Ambiance is dated. Just disappointedread more

It was busy at lunchtime on a Friday. The cafe is so cute! Charmingly decorated. We ordered at the counter, took a table number and found our seats. One note about that: being a large person, the seats made me a little nervous. Next time i would opt for booth seating which looked a bit more substantial. Our entrees were brought out before our appetizers, but they looked so good I didn't even care. Couldn't wait to dig in. I had Pho Ga chicken noodle soup. It was served nice and hot with a bowl of raw herbs and add ins. Sprouts, fresh jalapeño slices, a lemon wedge etc. it was so delicious with complex flavors. I finished every drop. Appetizer was pork on a stick. Tender inside, crisp and sweet outside. Two skewers was plenty for us. My daughter had the lemon grass chicken with a fried egg. It looked great, she said it was very good. Our food was appealingly presented, and service was good. We each drank water and our bill was over $36. Not cheap for lunch but not outrageous and quality and portion sizes justified the cost. We will definitely return to try more menu items.

I tried their pork chop rice plate (com dac biet). It was very yummy. I really don't have any complaints about it. I also ordered a side of soup with mine, which was an additional $2. Their soup had a very nice flavor so I know I would've liked their pho had I had gotten it. The rice plate came with an egg, which was cooked perfectly. It was a nice crisp on the bottom and slightly runny on the top. The egg meatloaf was also pretty good. In all, I didn't have a bad experience. The grilled pork was good, but it needd a bit more seasonings (fish sauce, lemongrass). This dish needs to have lettuce and tomatoes as well. This was decent, but the price was a few dollars too high. I ordered the Bún bò Huế to go. This was decent as well. However, the both needs more seansonings (lemongrass, fish sauce, salt, sugar, hot pepper, shrimp paste). The broth was a bit bland to me. It's missing the pork hock. The beef, and the Chả lụa in the soup were perfect. Bún bò Huế is supposed to be spicy, and this one is not spicy at all. The price was a few dollars too high a well.
