Korean Garden BBQ is the same as KG BBQ. It's an AYCE Korean BBQ restaurant located on Spring Mountain on the 2nd Floor. I was craving Korean and I've never been to a Vegas Korean BBQ that has a Ban Chan cart. I've dined at spots in SD who offers this so I'm glad I got to try it here in Vegas. Service was ok. She came by checked on us and took our order. There is a buzzer on the table if you need service too. Food: Thin Pork Belly (I wouldn't order that again) Thick Pork Belly Brisket The brisket was yummy. I added salt and pepper and dipped it in a sauce I made. As mentioned above, I would never order the thin Pork Belly again. It was bacon. Lol. The thicker meat is much better. The ban chan cart was good but I wish it had jap chae. Although the meat quality wasn't bad, the overall experience was pretty underwhelming compared to other KBBQ spots around town. The self-serve side dishes were a letdown!! Most were either too salty or overly garlicky. There was also a very limited selection of side dishes across the different tiers, which felt disappointing. On top of that, the upsells didn't feel worth it. Many of the additional items they charge extra for can be found at other KBBQ places for a better value. The limited choices were a pain when you are paying for all you can eat. The service was pretty good considering how busy it was getting. They had a lot of options at the salad buffet. Including gyoza, sushi, etc. These extra dishes were on a first come basis since they were dishes that were set out on top of what was in the regular salad buffet, which had an amazing selection. I would come back again if I'm ever in this area. The price at lunch is $22.95 for AYCE. What a terrific deal. Place is clean and has good circulation so that there is no smoke from the BBQ. When my friend and I entered this restaurant at 7 pm on a Thursday evening, I was surprised that there was no one inside. We had the whole restaurant to ourselves. Our server sat us at a nice table by the window and explained the AYCE menu to us. We made our first order and headed over to the banchan area to pick up some small bites to eat. Most of the items were very good especially the kimchee and japanese seaweed. I definitely needed the veggies for this meal. The beef brisket was quite nice but very thinly sliced and breaks apart too easily on the grill surface. The thick (relatively) pork belly was very nice too. A cute little restaurant in the heart of chinatown. The meat was good, the kimchi was amazing but the banchan station had some stale items like the marinated egg and the pan fried tofu. Our experience was going well until it came to ordering another round of food. On round two, we had ordered two more orders of meet and the bibimbap, and after i ordered the bibimbap, the waitress rolled her eyes at me? I felt judged for ordered more food at the AYCE kbbq restaurant. That had put a sour taste in my mouth and i felt uncomfortable for the rest of my meal. I've been in recovery with alcohol and haven't drank a sip in YEARS. (5+) Somehow 2 of the cups were full to the brim of sake or Soju. Broke my sobriety by taking a drink, and had the worst night ever full of physiological guilt. What if a minor drank that? That was very hurtful. We had guests from California and they have not been to a KBBQ ever. They loved all the food even if they were limited to only beef. The place is very clean and kind loud as well thanks to their robot who is quick yet loud lol. The grill on the table is huge. The fire is perfectly regulated by the servers even without asking and it didn't seem especially smoky because of the grilling but in the end, you will still smell food in your hair and clothes afterwards. Very tasty Korean BBQ with great quality meats and delicious banchan! Came here with family back in December (a large group of 9) and my mother-in-law called ahead. They set up our table and everything was ready within 10 minutes so we were seated immediately. The staff seemed a bit frazzled on a busy night, when I checked in on Yelp and tried to redeem the takoyaki the server told me "we don't do that" so that was confusing. They are very nice though and quick with any requests! There are also singing robot servers that the kids absolutely adored. We did AYCE option B and it was hands down the best buffet we had all week in Vegas! The meat quality is fantastic. This used to be my moms favorite Korean bbq place. She hadn't been here in a while so I brought the family here. Her favorite thing used to be the banchan served with the food. The banchan was good and the food was ok.. nothing extraordinary. What made me lower the stars was the service. I had to wave the server down a couple of times to get some more water or food. There was a point where we were grilling some chicken and she came and turned the grill off mid cooking. She came back around and when I asked her why she turned it off she said the grill was too burned but did not offer to change it. So I'm sitting there with raw chicken and if I hadn't asked for a grill it seems it wouldn't have been replaced.
