This spot is located in a food hall that offered Korean, Japanese, Hawaiian food in addition to a popular coffee spot. I grabbed the galbi meal and the presentation was spectacular. The meat was a little chewy but good flavors. The seaweed soup that came with it was very good. Comfortable seating and we we were a large group so that was great. This wasn't our first time at Cheongdam Kisa inside Cheongdam Food Hall, and it definitely won't be our last. My wife liked it the first time we came, so that automatically means we're coming back again. You really can't go wrong with Korean food. I grew up eating Korean food and I'm not even Korean , my best friend growing up was, so I spent plenty of time around the dinner table learning what good Korean food should taste like. Cheongdam Kisa hits the spot every time. One thing I only recently got hooked on is rice punch after a layover in Korea. I'm telling you right now...that stuff is the nectar of the gods. My first time visiting Cheongdam Kisa inside Cheongdam Food hall. It very clean and welcoming inside. Service was quick. You ordered at the counter and they bring out your food. There are options for entrees, tray combos and others like bibimbap. The entrees come with a bowl of rice. While the tray combos come with several banchans and soup. The spicy squid has good flavor but quite a bit of fillers like onions and carrots. The combo tray is plenty to fill you up. The Galbi was great for the price but the soup was very disappointing. The soup has no clear flavor and seems a bit like left over soups mix together. Overall, I think it's worth to try the entree. read more

This is inside the Cheongdam Food Hall, last food vendor. It's cafeteria style dining, order at the register, take a number and find a seat. Don't get tricked into buying a water bottle. I asked where the water is and she pointed to the water bottles for sell. After I bought it I turned around and there is free filtered water, ice and cups. It was buy one and get the 2nd one 50%. We got the kalbi and fried seafood. The fried seafood was crunchy and light, definitely recommend it over the kalbi. The banchan was a good mixture. They also give you rice and soup too. read more

When they first opened, the food was great. My Korean Mom loved it, thought it was delicious. Then they changed the cooks, replaced the ajummas with people that seem to not know the taste of the food being prepared. The rice, banchan and bulgogi all taste different and not in a good way. The service is just someone who takes your order, she is never helpful. Also, make sure your worker wash their hands after using the bathroom. You're gonna need the counter space especially if you're ordering more than one tray combo LOL! For our orders we got: -Grilled Fish Tray Combo ($21.95) -Beef Bulgogi Tray Combo ($16.95 opening special) Didn't take too long for our food, maybe just under 20 minutes. And WHOA, make room! Two tray combos with a bowl of rice, a bowl of soup, and a wheel of NINE banchan looks like a fun time to eat! So many colors & flavors! We dug right in! Wifey's fried fish was good, crisp & fresh! Good size & variety of pieces. I also had a nice portion of beef bulgogi. Savory & sweet all at the same time! Menu offers a nice selection of Korean entrees, popular tray combo, and side dish. I ordered Bibimbap ($13.95), which is incredibly filling and delicious! The meal is served in a big bowl of steamed rice topped with a medley of vibrant veggies including cooked spinach, carrots, lettuce, white radish, zucchini, soybean sprouts, tasty bulgogi, and sunny fried egg. The entree comes with complimentary soup which has soft cucumber and tofu, it's mild, not spicy, and very good! Have gotten the Spicy Chicken, Galbi,Bulgogi and even the Spicy Marinated Crab. All were very tasty and came on a large tray with soup, rice and banchan which usually includes kimchi, mandu etc. Staff has always been pretty friendly with us so not sure why they took hits in some reviews. They were even explaining,maybe too much, that the crab dish is raw. It's one of my favorite dishes trust me I know how it should be and the crab was sweet and delicious.
