I was hungry and was in some need of soul food, I look at nana's kitchen. And I said why not give it a shot! I ordered chicken, cornbread, mac & cheese and collared greens. With a side of rice & gravy. Once I got the food, I started digging in! I First tried the collared greens with some interest of what it tasted like. I took a bite and it was salty and I didn't really taste much vinegar. I liked my collared greens with vinegar because that's how I originally liked my greens. And then I went to the mac & cheese. The mac and cheese was delightful! I tasted the blends of cheese that was in the mac & cheese! So the mac & cheese was perfect! After the mac & cheese I wanted to try some chicken. The chicken came in and out the oil right in time. I tasted the seasonings that was in the chicken and it tasted good. The combination tasted good is what I mean't. After the chicken, finally I went over to the cornbread. I don't have any opinions on the cornbread. It tasted like your average cornbread! And lastly I came to the rice and gravy, the rice is OK, but the gravy made it phenomenal! So that was good aswell.

Fried fish with rice and gravy and green beans.

Great southern food. A small seating area with 3 tables inside and a few high stools at a bar. Great service.

The food here is BANGIN' and the service is even better if that is possible. Found this place on Yelp while planning our move to Greenville. This will definitely be someplace that we visit regularly when we move here. Cannot wait to try their breakfast! Stay tuned for updates!

I have never been to Bridgeway Station, and wow, what a cute/fun area…read more The vibe and interior of Rotie did not disappoint. It is not a huge restaurant, but you aren't crowded either. My girlfriends and I went for girls night, and I loved how the place was packed with women. Such a cool idea. We got the rosemary beignets, and they were really good. Loved the butter that came with it too, and the parm. Very tasty. I had the half chicken, and it was maybe the best chicken I have ever had. Seriously, I know what I am ordering next time, and the time after, because it was so good. I didn't enjoy the sides as much. I had the pomme puree and the roasted vegetables. It's strange that the mashed potatoes were flavorless and mealy, and the veggies were meh. That said, the chicken was awesome, and I will come back for that alone.

First we sat outside and it was really nice and you could hear the music across the street. Our server who was also training someone was fantastic. On the receipt it said "Hakan S" but I could be wrong. He was so attentive and called us "loves" and just was so kind I'd go just for his service honestly, he never stopped smiling , even after multiple requests he just was top tier. As far as the starter, it was between beignets and the bread but the spicy honey got me. I wouldn't order that bread again it was basic and I wished the butter would have been more honey but it was eaten. Next time I'll try the beignets. As far as food, I ordered the salmon and exchanged the rice for a "house salad". The salmon was okay I didn't like how overcooked the bottom was and it was a little try and flavorless for me, I assume the rice helps but even when they accidentally brought out the rice bed first with the salmon it still looked the same. Maybe a drizzle of something would be nice. So I used some sauce from my partners plate which was the special "grouper " . Back to my dish first. The salad was my favorite part, very fresh and just had good flavors. As far as the grouper, it was extra cooked , not much flavor itself, the white asparagus was basic but the sauce it was laid in was really nice. Again I used it for my salmon. She wasn't a fan but she loved the bread. I would go back but it's not a must have for me.

I was just about to give up and go somewhere else when a spot opened. We were a group of 10 and were the 6th and 7th to arrive. Came in and sat down and it was a good 15 minutes before our server appeared for drink orders. They had a really good stout on draft so I ordered that and the alligator bites. It was another 15/20 minute before our server came back to inform me the keg blew and that beer wasn't available. So water it was. The alligator bites were not horrible, but weren't great either. Very bland and the breading was.....not crunchy. It was almost like they were microwaved and not cooked long enough. I went with the double bacon burger and fries, which was a $0.99 upsell from the house chips that comes with the burger. Two big thick patties with cheese and bacon. Pretty good burger. Not the best I've ever had but not the worst either. As for the ambience, good luck having a conversation. The place is open and loud. The actual restaurant is fairly small but it's part of a larger area. Think of a food court in a mall. Very hard to have a conversation due to all the noise. And people wondering in and sitting down without checking in, taking wait staff away from their other tables. Overall, I wasn't impressed. But, like I said, the area prom had a lot more people out than a normal Friday night, so I will return again for another meal.

It was early evening and busy with people ordering/ picking up take out. Our burgers arrived very hot and fresh. The buns they use are firm but soft and stay together through every bite. Fries were hot and crisp! You order your burger then fries come as a side option for $2.99 Delicious fresh food all round. Will definitely be back again. I also ordered the sweet plantains, which are phenomenal! I could certainly understand why people would try the burgers because they look fantastic. The place wasn't packed, but it was fairly busy for the middle of the afternoon which tells me that this place probably does a really good business. Juan Pablo and Julietta were really helpful and friendly. They definitely made the customers feel welcome. Although it is a quick serve restaurant, the ambience is really cool. It does not feel like fast food nor does it taste like that. If you are looking for something that is just a little bit different this might be your place. If someone is not adventurous enough to try the Colombian options, they can definitely order the burgers.

Right by Fluor Field with a fun, lively vibe. We sat outside, which was clean, comfortable, and a great spot to hang out before an event. Service was fantastic. David, our server, was friendly, engaging, and knowledgeable, and really helped elevate the experience. For food, we started with the wings (dry rub and Jamaican jerk). The flavors were decent, but the wings themselves were rubbery and a bit underwhelming, especially considering the price point. One standout though... the ranch dressing. Easily some of the best I've had. The breakfast tacos were good overall, and the chimichurri was fresh and flavorful. I think adding a creamy component would have taken them up another level. The sweet potato fries were fantastic. The chicken and biscuit was decent. The Nashville-style chicken had good flavor, but the tenders were on the smaller side, making the portion feel a bit lacking. The biscuit itself was solid. The tallow fries were also well done, and the Lefty's sauce was a nice addition. One unique touch at the end. You're given the option to send a postcard, and they handle the postage and mailing for you. A really fun and memorable detail. Overall, a good spot with great service and atmosphere, though some of the food execution and portion sizes could be improved.

I read it three times, not because I misunderstood it, but because I wanted to confirm that it listed pets and children in that order, which it did, and that tells you something about the sequence of problems they've encountered on the lawn, though I've decided not to find out what exactly. With that said, the lawn is not exactly a lawn at all, unless you consider granite rocks as a lawn, which the residents of Elberton, Georgia do as it is considered the "Granite Capital of the World." Elberton this is not. This rocky lawn is to be filled with Bichon Frisés and children in ball caps, and on the afternoon I visited it was doing exactly that. There was a dog near the covered bar area moving through the patio with the serenity of an animal who has never once been told that other people exist. His owner stood nearby holding a beer and looking proud, which is a face I recognized, because I have a son and have stood next to him with that exact expression at least twice in public places where I should have known better. I had the Radiant Positivity, a sour ale at 6%, which sounds like something printed above a middle school guidance counselor's desk but turned out to be genuinely good, all grapefruit and a tartness that knew when to stop. I thought about ordering the Kamp Jam, a 4% light lager described as tasting like shared laughter and the unbreakable bonds of friendship, and decided I wasn't there yet. The owners opened this place in 2014 and have expanded it three times since, which tells you something about Greer that it probably already knows about itself but that the rest of the area is still catching up on. Consequentially, Greer itself has also expanded its waistline 3 times since 2014 but that's a discussion for another time. I thought about asking about the Southern Sanctum, an American Tripel, but the afternoon had reached the evening and a point where a Tripel felt like a commitment that deserved more deliberation than I had left in me. I paid my tab, which was reasonable in a way that surprised me given the quality of everything, said goodbye to nobody in particular, and drove home thinking about the Kamp Jam, and whether the unbreakable bonds of friendship were something I'd get to eventually.
