This place is a little hidden and when I walked in they still had Valentine's Day decoration with huge inflated balloons, the koi pond has no koi and the bar is hidden to the left. The service was good, I had a waiter that's friends with the owners and he was very kind and knowledgeable. The service was great. The sushi was decent. The parking lot always seems empty. When I went inside I was pleasantly surprised that there were several tables having dinner. The parking lot did not reflect that. There are many booths and tables. There is a bar on the left side. I went straight ahead and sat at the sushi bar. For the price, the sushi is okay. We came here for a late dinner on Tuesday night of last week and were seated immediately without a reservation, which was nice. Sonny was our server and he did a great job in taking care of us. As for the food, the edamame and spider rolls were both delicious! Definitely recommend them. The chicken in the chicken teriyaki bento box was money. My fiancé liked her yaki udon shrimp entree as well. Only thing I would've liked is different sushi in the bento box (nothing was wrong it, I just prefer more salmon/crab flavored sushi). What can I say, this is right now my favorite place for bento. The food is delicious. I didn't even get time to take pictures because i ate so fast lol. The tempura was great and not greasy at all. The California roll tasted so fresh and the gyozas and beef teriyaki was so yummy. The meat was tender. The service was great. The waiter was informative and very nice and suggested great drinks! DEC 10th, 2023. GOOD FOOD.......HORRIBLE SERVICE!!! I was treated horribly tonight. I've been going to this restaurant for over 7 years and considered ourselves to be regulars. This WAS our favorite, casual sushi bar. This truly is my 7 year old son's favorite place to eat.....UNTIL TONIGHT. I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU WOULD TREAT A REGULAR LIKE SUCH SH#T!!! Me writing this isn't about anything but PRINCIPLE and to let you know that YOU SHOULD NOT HAVE CHILDREN RUNNING YOUR BUSINESS, TREATING YOUR REGULARS LIKE TRASH AND QUESTIONING THEIR INTEGRITY. We eat here minimally twice a week, until tonight, for the last 7 years. Today I came in and sat at the bar at 2 pm, with my 7 year old son to get a TO GO a order, when it was completely dead. We ordered the same thing we order, for the last 7 years. When it was finally done, we took the order and drove home. We could not check the order at the restaurant, because the two plastic bags, were knotted tightly closed. When we got home and opened it, that's when we realized that our order was wrong. We received 2 pieces of IKA sushi (squid) instead of Ikura sushi (salmon roe), and vegetable tempura instead of shrimp tempura. At that time, around 3 pm, I called into the restaurant, to let them know what had happened and they instructed me to drive back to get the right food. I told them that I couldn't because my kids were hungry and I'd have to come later tonight, because I'm pregnant and I wasn't feeling the greatest. So at 6 pm, I drove over there and had to wait to talk to the manager. I get it, it's dinner time and that's their busy time, so I waited. When the young girl (manager) came over, she told me that she was not going to refund me, because she doesn't know if I ate it or not, and that there must have been a miscommunication on my part. I told her that I had been coming there for over 7 years, minimally twice a week, and we order the same thing each time. Then she said "If I had the Ika I could re emburse you it". Then I said "What, you want me to drive all the way home and pick the Ika, out of the garbage and bring it back to you?" And she just looked at me, like she didn't believe me. Then I said "Ok, I'm going to do that, cause you obviously don't believe me. So, I called right after I opened up my order and I've been a regular here for 7 years, and you're going to make me go, drive all the way home, and pick it out of the garbage because you don't believe me. Ok. I will." Then I left and that's exactly what I did.....out of principle. I drove 10 minutes home and back and went and picked it out of the garbage. I was soooo pissed. Then I went back to the restaurant, said nothing, and put it on their bar. At that time, the girl tried to be apologetic, only because she probably thought I would never do it. Then she told me I could either get my order voided and re pay for what I ate, or call the dispute number. I chose number one. When she brought me the bill back again, she charged me again, for the vegetable tempura, which I did not eat. I told her that "I didn't eat it" and she just looked at me again. Then I said "What, do you want me to drive all the way back home again, and pick that out of the garbage too? Or do you believe me this time? Cause I'll do it." She finally re embursed me for that too. Anyways, I have never felt like this before, but today's experience left me FEELING REALLY ICKY. TO THE OWNERS-Let me put this in perspective for you. I minimally come there twice a week and minimally spend $120 without tip. So $120 x 2= $240 weekly, which equally $960 monthly x 12 = $12480 ANNUALLY ( $960 x 52 weeks in a year). In a lifetime or me being a regular customer for over 7 years, my family has spent at least $87360 on sushi from your restaurant. It may not be a big deal to you.....but to me, over $20 this waitress/young manager did not believe me, treated me like SH#T in front of everyone in the restaurant and your staff, and QUESTIONED MY INTEGRITY (which to me was the worst out of it all). I will not be coming back, and I will not bring my family and my guests, business lunches and clients when they come into town here anymore, until you get some waitstaff with manners and plain common sense. Would I have called as soon as I opened the bags, to let you know the order was wrong, if I was going to try to scam you? Would I have driven back after I put my baby to sleep, if I was trying to scam you? Would I have driven all the way home and back, after fishing the Ika out of the trash, if I was trying to scam you? It was soooo degrading having to do this, as one of your regular customers, just to prove a point.....over $20. But it wasn't the $20. My family and I have been regulars of yours for 7 years. I promise you, you would recognize us, and my two young son's as soon as we walked through the door. So SHAME ON YOU to the young manager girl, for acting this way....BUT YOU SERIOUSLY NEED TO GO!!! I went into the location and got seated quickly. Sebastian did an AMAZING job making my sushi. Everything was so fresh and delicious . I was seated quickly and that's where my 'like' of this restaurant ended. - I was seated at a booth and every time the person seated behind me moved I was pushed forward in my seat. Unstable seating. - The waitress, who was rather bubbly, kept calling me by terms of endearment, which I know is often a Texas thing, but I can do without it. - She proceeded to take my order without writing anything down, not that writing it down is necessary BUT you better get it right if you do this. - My tea was brought to me by someone else, then a few minutes later the waitress brought another cup of tea...WHY?! I was already drinking tea. - When the waitress brought the tea she also brought my miso soup, spilled 1/4 of it on the table and quickly walked away. She was in a rush to get to another table. I had to wave down another waitress to clean up the mess. Note the restaurant was not crowded but didn't feel it necessary to attend to me appropriately. - After a bit of a wait, which I don't mind if the food is good, SOME of my food arrived. Of course she forgotten some of my order. My thought, well if you had written it down... - Good thing I wasn't very hungry because the portions were very small for the hefty price they were asking. (see attached picture) Most surprising, the snow crab sushi was $24 for 6 pieces. (2 pieces cost $10) Good thing I really wanted crab or I would have pass this by on price alone. - Over all I paid $67 (including a 20% tip) for 1 cucumber roll, 2 masago, 6 snow crab and 2 cups hot tea. - At least I can say I gave this restaurant a fair try, but I don't think I'll be back. read more

Nanami has been my go-to anytime I have an Uber Eats craving for crispy tofu and they never disappoint! Most recently I ordered the chicken teriyaki bento box which was amazing and came with chicken teriyaki, white rice, 4 pieces of sushi, 5 pieces of sashimi, side salad, and miso soup. I also ordered the deep fried cheesecake because it's amazing as well. In terms of sashimi, I liked all but 1 piece so that's pretty good in my book. They were out of the large Kirin, so I had to get the smaller one for about the same price, in which they were unwilling to adjust pricing accordingly. TL;DR version - it is ok. They have a wide variety of Sushi Rolls (Nigiri) on the menu. The Teriyaki sauce they use is way too sweet, portion size leans on the small side. Most of the "sauces" they use for the many nigiri we ordered and the salads were over powering, and reduced the flavor of the actual item. I would not recommend this place. Went with several friends for a celebration dinner on a Sunday evening, and while not crowded, the wait staff was a bit off. For example, taking our glass of water away, and not returning it during our meal ... we had to ask for another glass of water. Refills on hot tea had to be requested often. The atmosphere of the dining area is dark, very dark, even at 5pm on a Sunday afternoon, it was difficult to read the menu. I was unable to get a feel for the establishment based on how dim the lighting was. At least the sushi bar seemed to be in well lit. The food was lacking in flavor, but great presentation. The many rolls we ordered were nicely presented, but the many sauces they pour were very sweet, which took away from the experience. Stay away from the Sashimi Salad, for $15 you get a small salad, drenched in a sweet dressing that overpowered the plate. I could not taste the individual (and small) portions of fish. Portion size; for the nigiri, it was the standard size. But the rest of the Kitchen Plates (on the menu) like Teriyaki Chicken, it was more of the same; small portions with over pour of sauce that took away from the dish as a whole. We ordered three roles. Philly, something called Robin nest and Hollywood roll. The reason why I am giving this place one star is the chef has no clue how make fundamental sushi rice. The flavor is completely off of traditional Japanese sushi rice. Real sushi chefs study for years how to make sushi rice that has glutinous features that allow to stick together and not be too dry, lastly the vinegar was not done right and was too sweet. One of our friends has severe food allergies to cucumber and mango and clearly addressed this with the waitress while ordering. What happens? His sushi comes out with cucumber garnishes. No problem...toss it aside. But his sushi roll had slivers of mango in it and he felt it immediately and ran to yak it out. Thank goodness it didn't get to ER anaphylactic stage. Restaurants need to take this matter seriously especially when you state so beforehand. One of the managers/owners did come to apologize and removed it from his bill so thank you! But...seriously yikes! All the sushi rolls were good. Presentation was normal. Tried the hibachi combo fried rice and it was flavorful. Spicy edamame was a good starter. Cocktails were lacking especially for how much they charge you for one. El Diablo was a disappointment. Overall this is your typical sushi establishment but a bit overpriced. But when the sushi arrived me and my hubs were pleasantly surprised and thought everything was delicious. We split four rolls, spicy tuna, yellowtail and scallion, and then two speciality rolls - I can't remember the names but they both had shrimp tempura in them and were spicy. The rolls were DELICIOUS.
