This was my first time trying out Nanami! It was pretty good, the staff were so kind and the restaurant is a great place for date night! We got the Lovers Roll, Caterpillar Roll, and more (I forgot)! They were all so yummy.

We came here for a late dinner on Tuesday night of last week and were seated immediately without a reservation, which was nice. Sonny was our server and he did a great job in taking care of us. As for the food, the edamame and spider rolls were both delicious! Definitely recommend them. The chicken in the chicken teriyaki bento box was money. My fiancé liked her yaki udon shrimp entree as well. Only thing I would've liked is different sushi in the bento box (nothing was wrong it, I just prefer more salmon/crab flavored sushi). Overall, excellent experience. We will be back!

Lunch special: 2 rolls, miso soup and house salad all for $15???? Deal to me Taking a star off for minor things: spicy mayo was a lil more sweet than I'd ever have and the salad dressing needed more MSG or salt or something, was lacking flavor. I'd definitely come back!

Great service, excellent food and Happy Hour Stopped in at this sushi place as we were searching for a good HH. There is a limited HH menu so we ordered both on and off the menus. We sat at the sushi bar. The chef was fantastic. All of the seafood was fresh and tasty. He even knew that unagi (eel) is for dessert! I'll be heading back here again.

What can I say, this is right now my favorite place for bento. The food is delicious. I didn't even get time to take pictures because i ate so fast lol. The tempura was great and not greasy at all. The California roll tasted so fresh and the gyozas and beef teriyaki was so yummy. The meat was tender. The service was great. The waiter was informative and very nice and suggested great drinks! (See pics) the ambiance is romantic and quiet, at least when we went. Dont miss out and i plan on returning as soon as i can!!

I don't typically leave negative reviews but this sushi was so disappointing and inedible. No flavor and mostly rice. I don't get treats often so was very disappointed. Ate a couple pieces because I hate food waste but it was really bad.

DEC 10th, 2023. GOOD FOOD.......HORRIBLE SERVICE!!! I was treated horribly tonight. I've been going to this restaurant for over 7 years and considered ourselves to be regulars. This WAS our favorite, casual sushi bar. This truly is my 7 year old son's favorite place to eat.....UNTIL TONIGHT. I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU WOULD TREAT A REGULAR LIKE SUCH SH#T!!! Me writing this isn't about anything but PRINCIPLE and to let you know that YOU SHOULD NOT HAVE CHILDREN RUNNING YOUR BUSINESS, TREATING YOUR REGULARS LIKE TRASH AND QUESTIONING THEIR INTEGRITY. We eat here minimally twice a week, until tonight, for the last 7 years. Today I came in and sat at the bar at 2 pm, with my 7 year old son to get a TO GO a order, when it was completely dead. We ordered the same thing we order, for the last 7 years. When it was finally done, we took the order and drove home. We could not check the order at the restaurant, because the two plastic bags, were knotted tightly closed. When we got home and opened it, that's when we realized that our order was wrong. We received 2 pieces of IKA sushi (squid) instead of Ikura sushi (salmon roe), and vegetable tempura instead of shrimp tempura. At that time, around 3 pm, I called into the restaurant, to let them know what had happened and they instructed me to drive back to get the right food. I told them that I couldn't because my kids were hungry and I'd have to come later tonight, because I'm pregnant and I wasn't feeling the greatest. So at 6 pm, I drove over there and had to wait to talk to the manager. I get it, it's dinner time and that's their busy time, so I waited. When the young girl (manager) came over, she told me that she was not going to refund me, because she doesn't know if I ate it or not, and that there must have been a miscommunication on my part. I told her that I had been coming there for over 7 years, minimally twice a week, and we order the same thing each time. Then she said "If I had the Ika I could re emburse you it". Then I said "What, you want me to drive all the way home and pick the Ika, out of the garbage and bring it back to you?" And she just looked at me, like she didn't believe me. Then I said "Ok, I'm going to do that, cause you obviously don't believe me. So, I called right after I opened up my order and I've been a regular here for 7 years, and you're going to make me go, drive all the way home, and pick it out of the garbage because you don't believe me. Ok. I will." Then I left and that's exactly what I did.....out of principle. I drove 10 minutes home and back and went and picked it out of the garbage. I was soooo pissed. Then I went back to the restaurant, said nothing, and put it on their bar. At that time, the girl tried to be apologetic, only because she probably thought I would never do it. Then she told me I could either get my order voided and re pay for what I ate, or call the dispute number. I chose number one. When she brought me the bill back again, she charged me again, for the vegetable tempura, which I did not eat. I told her that "I didn't eat it" and she just looked at me again. Then I said "What, do you want me to drive all the way back home again, and pick that out of the garbage too? Or do you believe me this time? Cause I'll do it." She finally re embursed me for that too. Anyways, I have never felt like this before, but today's experience left me FEELING REALLY ICKY. TO THE OWNERS-Let me put this in perspective for you. I minimally come there twice a week and minimally spend $120 without tip. So $120 x 2= $240 weekly, which equally $960 monthly x 12 = $12480 ANNUALLY ( $960 x 52 weeks in a year). In a lifetime or me being a regular customer for over 7 years, my family has spent at least $87360 on sushi from your restaurant. It may not be a big deal to you.....but to me, over $20 this waitress/young manager did not believe me, treated me like SH#T in front of everyone in the restaurant and your staff, and QUESTIONED MY INTEGRITY (which to me was the worst out of it all). I will not be coming back, and I will not bring my family and my guests, business lunches and clients when they come into town here anymore, until you get some waitstaff with manners and plain common sense. Would I have called as soon as I opened the bags, to let you know the order was wrong, if I was going to try to scam you? Would I have driven back after I put my baby to sleep, if I was trying to scam you? Would I have driven all the way home and back, after fishing the Ika out of the trash, if I was trying to scam you? It was soooo degrading having to do this, as one of your regular customers, just to prove a point.....over $20. But it wasn't the $20. My family and I have been regulars of yours for 7 years. I promise you, you would recognize us, and my two young son's as soon as we walked through the door. So SHAME ON YOU to the young manager girl, for acting this way....BUT YOU SERIOUSLY NEED TO GO!!! And after you go, learn some common sense and etiquette.

I don't go out for sushi very often and Nanami is probably why. Surprisingly the interior looks much better than the exterior. I was seated quickly and that's where my 'like' of this restaurant ended. - I was seated at a booth and every time the person seated behind me moved I was pushed forward in my seat. Unstable seating. - The waitress, who was rather bubbly, kept calling me by terms of endearment, which I know is often a Texas thing, but I can do without it. - She proceeded to take my order without writing anything down, not that writing it down is necessary BUT you better get it right if you do this. - My tea was brought to me by someone else, then a few minutes later the waitress brought another cup of tea...WHY?! I was already drinking tea. - When the waitress brought the tea she also brought my miso soup, spilled 1/4 of it on the table and quickly walked away. She was in a rush to get to another table. I had to wave down another waitress to clean up the mess. Note the restaurant was not crowded but didn't feel it necessary to attend to me appropriately. - After a bit of a wait, which I don't mind if the food is good, SOME of my food arrived. Of course she forgotten some of my order. My thought, well if you had written it down... - Good thing I wasn't very hungry because the portions were very small for the hefty price they were asking. (see attached picture) Most surprising, the snow crab sushi was $24 for 6 pieces. (2 pieces cost $10) Good thing I really wanted crab or I would have pass this by on price alone. - Over all I paid $67 (including a 20% tip) for 1 cucumber roll, 2 masago, 6 snow crab and 2 cups hot tea. - At least I can say I gave this restaurant a fair try, but I don't think I'll be back.

Found this place by accident and so thought will try something safe before we get sushi. Ordered fried calamari. Oh god, I have never had such horrible calamari tempura. For starters, it's hella oily. Plus, some tempura coating were just batter with no calamari. To top it off, the quantity is really small for 10 bucks. I am not sure if I will ever go for sushi here.

It's located inside what I think is a mini golf place (or some kind of entertainment venue haha), and the restaurant itself is hidden behind a bookshelf like a speakeasy. I had never heard of the place before, but I thought the whole concept was SO cool. The omakase itself is incredibly intimate with only a handful of seats, which makes the entire experience feel really personal. Chef and his small team are all so warm and welcoming, and one of my favorite parts was that they actually encourage everyone to get to know each other throughout the meal. It ended up feeling like one big group dinner rather than everyone quietly eating their own meal. My friend and I were even watching the Super Bowl with everyone during our seating, which made the night even more fun! The fish was, of course, phenomenal. Every piece was prepared with so much care and precision, and you could really tell how passionate Chef is about his craft. I'd say the menu falls somewhere in the middle between a super traditional Edomae omakase and a more modern, creative one, which I personally loved. Everything felt incredibly thoughtful without being overly experimental. I also have to give a shoutout to their cocktail program because every drink we had was AMAZING! I don't even think there's a traditional drink menu. Instead, their bartender just asked each of us what kinds of flavors we usually like and created custom cocktails based on our preferences. Every single drink she made for my friends and me was SO good and paired perfectly with the meal. One thing to keep in mind is that each seating is pretty long--we were there for close to three hours! It definitely felt like an experience rather than just dinner, but honestly, the time flew by because everyone was chatting, eating, and having such a great time. It is definitely on the expensive side, but for the quality of the fish, the hospitality, and the overall experience, I thought it was absolutely worth it. One of my favorite little details was that the room is filled with Chef's personal belongings, books, and little collectibles, which makes the space feel so cozy and lived in. He genuinely welcomes guests to ask him about anything in the room, and you can tell he's just such a well-rounded and passionate person. More than anything, this was just such a FUN omakase experience!! If you're looking for something that's intimate, interactive, and a little different from your typical omakase, I can't recommend Toshokan enough!

Tucked away inside a mini golf course and hidden behind a bookshelf, the whole experience has this playful speakeasy energy before you even sit down. Once you step inside, the interior immediately transports you to the late‑night streets of Tokyo--moody lighting, intimate vibes, and that cinematic feeling like something special is about to happen. There are 6 seats. My boyfriend and I had such a fun, personal experience. The staff were incredible--warm, engaging, and genuinely excited to guide us through each course. The food itself was delicious, beautifully crafted, and felt customized in a way that made the night feel unique to us. It's the kind of omakase that doesn't take itself too seriously while still delivering seriously good dishes. I also highly recommend the sake and cocktail pairing. The bartender customizes it based on your preferences. I told her my favorite drink is an espresso martini and she made this really fun espresso, strawberry latte concoction. There is also a special house sake with an homage to the owner's cat. I love those personal details. It's always a great time at Toshokan, and I'll definitely be back again. PS it's a great place to celebrate your birthday or special occasion! They broke out a guitar to serenade me lol

NOT EVEN A LITTLE. **THEY CHARGED ME $64 for 6 slices of Anago sashimi, even though on the menu it was $7 per slice. ** They also charged me $110 for a sashimi platter, and I have absolutely NO CLUE where they came up with this number. Truly pissed off at this restaurant. ALWAYS TRIPLE CHECK YOUR BILL BEFORE PAYING!!!!! This restaurant stole from us.

I usually don't like leaving bad reviews, but wow--that was FOUL. I ordered the rice medallion…read moresauté with the recommended pork belly as my protein and asked for no mushrooms. The girl taking my order was friendly and even double-checked if it was an allergy--I told her no, I just really don't like mushrooms. But when I got home and started eating, everything in that dish tasted like mushrooms--or at least had that same gross, slimy, squishy texture. Even the pork belly (I think?) was soft, squishy, and honestly disgusting. Pork belly can be amazing when it's grilled or fried and crispy, but this was the total opposite. I don't get the hype around Koriente at all. The only good thing was the friendly and honestly super fast service.

I've ordered from Koriente through Uber Eats before and have really enjoyed the food--it's…read moreconsistently flavorful and satisfying. I recently visited in person and got my usual order, the shiitake tofu, which was just as delicious as I remembered. That said, the overall dine-in experience could be improved. I tried the tea for the first time and, unfortunately, it wasn't quite to my taste. That was the main reason my rating is a bit lower this time. Also, a small note on the bento box: it typically comes with a tea included, but this wasn't made very clear during ordering. My friend didn't realize it was complimentary until someone else in our group ordered, which led to some confusion. It might help to clarify that more up front to avoid any misunderstandings. Still, I really appreciate the quality of the food and will definitely continue to order again!
