I am a frequent visitor of Nancy's. I really like their deep dish pizza, which is tough to find in St Louis. However, I actually like the leftover reheated pizza more, as the crust is crisper than when it is first cooked. I was trying to save my dear friends in O'Fallon from eating nasty chain pizza, and I stumbled upon Nancy's. Let me start by saying I consider myself somewhat of a deep dish snob, and all deep dish is NOT created equal. Having said that, Nancy's is PHENOMENAL. I have always held Giordano's as the gold standard for deep dish, and Louie's on Hampton was previously the only halfway decent Chicago-style I could find in the STL area. That has changed, my friends. Nancy's is possibly the best deep dish I've ever had. If you find yourself in this area, don't miss an opportunity to grab a pie. Only Four stars because I rarely ever give Five. First of all, I did not think that I liked Chicago style pizza, based on one past experience with another national chain but this was FANTASTIC!!! We picked up a large deep dish this past Friday night (03.10.17) to take home and was taken back to find friendly faces at the counter that actually seemed happy to see us. As you all know, that is not the norm anymore. I was skeptical that a 12" pizza (large) was going to be enough for my wife and I. I can usually eat 4 slices of a standard New York style 14" large without any issues. The pizza we picked up must have weighed just under a metric ton and smelled glorious. Still skeptical of Chicago Style pizza we took it home and prepared for dinner. After the first bite I was sold!!!! It was so good and well worth the price. After Two slices my tastebuds wanted more but my stomach decided that I had eaten enough, at least for now. My 19 year old son, who had some of the leftovers the following day, could only eat Two slices. Overall the staff was friendly and the pizza not only smelled delicious but tasted FABULOUS!!!. I am very happy that Nancy's Pizza moved into O'Fallon and would highly recommend it to anyone in the mood for a good filling pizza. As I write this review it is Sunday (03.12.17). My mother ordered pizzas ahead of time yesterday to make sure that they would be here on time for dinner. Driver still arrived twenty minutes late. We brought the pizzas in and started dishing them out, when we realized that the second pizza wasn't what we ordered. Turns out, it wasn't our order at all. My mother called to say that we got the wrong pizzas, and was told that the driver would come back for the pizzas - even after we had already taken pieces out of the box. Another twenty minutes later and the driver returns with our correct pizzas. However, not only were they cold at this point, but they were also a soggy mess. Both pizzas had slid to one side of their boxes, so the pizzas had folded over on each other, they were cold, and the soggy crust was stuck to the cardboard. Gross. As unhappy as I am that we paid for pizza that was a mess, I'm more disturbed by the fact that they were going to deliver the wrong pizzas that we had already handled to the correct purchaser. And who had our pizzas before the driver came back? Needless to say, we won't be ordering from here again. I would like to add that the driver was very nice. It was a mistake. It happens. I'm not upset with her. I'm just upset with how the situation was handled after the mistake occurred. read more

We drove 30 minutes to try it. No place to sit so you have to do take out. We knew this ahead of time so we drove 30 minutes back to the house. Ordered a small Greek salad and pepperoni pizza. Delicious. Reminded me of Chicago. I feel Giordano's is better but this is the best Chicago style in St Louis. We waited for 10 minutes behind a person placing an order for she didn't need until the next day. While we waited no one greeted us, said "Hi we'll be with you shortly", nothing. There was a gentleman helping with the order, he saw us and still walked to the back without saying a word. Saw a "chef" kicking an empty tub he was no longer using. Then a phone call came in to which the cashier responded "well what does he want?!...ugh...just give her a free salad since she complained." After being ignored for 10 minutes we left, also without a "sorry" or "well be right with you." Shame I'll never know what their pizza tastes like because their service was so terrible. read more

Finally good Chicago style pizza in St. Louis. I actually think the sauce is better than my fav in Chicago Giordanos. Ingredients and sauce fresh and consistent. Would have given five stars but hours are not consistent. They close early some times when they want. I was told of they are slow they will. I spoke with a manager not good business when customer call and you say 9. Hubby got there at 8:30 they were gone lights out. They had to know at 7:45 They were contemplating closing. The pizza itself was very good. We enjoyed the toppings, cheese and the sauce on the top. The crust was cooked and toasty on the bottom. The crust did seem thick in places. This past Sunday we ordered our pizza online, paid, waited the appropriate 45 minutes and arrived to be told our pizza was not ready. 30 minutes later we were finally given a pizza. That means they did not even put our pizza in the oven until we arrived. Our pizza did not come out pippin' hot but a warm hot. By time we arrived at home I would say our pizza was lukewarm. First impressions is you may want to call before you go to see where your pizza is in line. read more

We discovered Nancy's during early pandemic. Tired of the chain's tasteless options we were drawn to the deep dish. Loved it at first, delicious, very filling bite. This is not really a pizza. It's multiple levels of gooey, rich buttery crusty comfort. Not a lite meal. Not cheap either but we found a pie lasted multiple meals so you get value. Hwr, we have since discovered so many other delicious dishes that are regular craves. Meatball trio is a must. Deep rich flavor in 3 large meatballs with a crushed tom, basil-y sauce that is perfect. Rustic crust pizza with any toppings is a must. The crust is perfect. Not too thin, not too thick. Perfect chewiness, crusty bottom. Pastas on repeat; baked chicken tetrazzini and fettuccine. So delicious, noodles are never mushy or overcooked, sauces are never too cheesy, or too rich. Portion size is very generous and always makes at least 2 meals. They are more expensive than the chains but worth every yummy bite. read more

Fantastic pizza and wings. We've tried their regular crust pizza and stuffed deep dish. Both are excellent. Hot Buffalo and Memphis Sweet wings are really good. Only reason they do not get 5 stars is the price. They are more expensive and therefore are a "special occasion" pizza place for us. read more

DO NOT GO HERE. Pizza was not worth the money. Ordered pepperoni and sausage and only had about 2 pepperonis on it and no sausage. It was not cut in the middle, it was cut to the side of the middle. It's a carry-out place, so it lacks ambiance, but much shorter drive than Chicago for similarly good deep dish pizza. I also highly recommend the Greek salad. If they get enough local support, I'm hopeful they might consider an eat-in location. read more

Nancys pizza is the closest thing to get from my hometown it's original and I'm glad to know it's a Chicago pizza place I can always go to. I've had Nancy's a couple times now and they do not disappoint. I've had both deep dish and thin crust and both are equally as good. A medium deep dish is enough to feed a family of 4, I think it is like 5lbs of food! The thin crust pizza is amazing, it is not some STL cracker crust crap, this is seriously delicious thin crust pizza with amazing flavor. It can be a little pricey however, but you absolutely get what you pay for! read more
