Tried to order a pizza online at Nancy's pizza on hwy k. Placed order and got confirmation. Website said ready at 9:21pm. Left house to go pick it up and got phone call 6 minutes after placing the order just to have the guy say sorry we can't make your pizza. "We don't accept orders after 8:30pm". Told him it would have been nice if the website stated that. Why have hours posted as open until 9pm if you don't take orders past 8:30pm. Wanted to try it as lots of people said it was good. Was a little hesitant to try because every other "Chicago" style pizza offerings in this area have not even come close to we know as "True" Chicago pizza. We finally tried it, had a Greek Salad to with the Garlic dressing. It was great. Pizza was really good. Very very close to what we know and love. The only real issue I had was that the sausage was not spicy enough nor was there enough of it. We are used to a solid patty of meat so there is some in every bite. Nancy's Disappoints....Again! We ordered two large deep dish pies. We were told 45 minutes. Knowing that they typically run late, we waited 55 minutes. When we arrived they could not find our order; they had the ticket, but had not made the pizza. If this had been the first time I could understand. But no, this was our third time we have had this same issue (apparently I am a slow learner). If you are lucky enough to actually get your order its usually pretty good, that does assume you get the right order. Check your oder throughly before you leave the store. Tried a new place tonight for dinner and it was a total win!! If you're looking for a different type of pizza that's delicious, try Nancy's pizza in O'Fallon! We had the stuffed deep dish pizza with pepperoni. Which was so delicious!! We also got wings but we weren't a fan of them. Is deep dish Chicago pizza my very favorite? No, but I'll certainly order it and enjoy it from time to time. I was out in O'Fallon for some errands and I called in and ordered a small deep dish stuffed crust pepperoni. They said it would be ready in 30 minutes. Deep dish takes a long time to cook! I pulled in exactly 30 minutes after my order and the pizza was ready and I was on my way. Tallest pizza box ever! So if you're not familiar with Chicago pizza it goes crust, pizza topping, cheese, and chunky tomato sauce on the top. This was pretty good. My only complaint was not much pepperoni. Did I feel like I was sitting on Wabash Ave people watching with my deep dish? No. For St. Louis though I think this was almost as good as it gets. I love love love thin St. Louis pizza with provel cheese but you know what? This was a nice trip outside my (pizza) box and I'd absolutely visit again. read more

Finding authentic Chicago Style "Pizza" in St Louis is a great find and Nancy's fits the bill. 2-21/2 inches thick sauce on top, two layers of crust and cheese underneath, it was what I was looking for. I had the A lot of Meat, and it was. Loaded with canadian bacon, italian sausage, pepperoni, and bacon. This was one heavy pie. Admittedly I remain a Nee York Slice kind of guy, and it's hard to compare Chicago style vs New York, but if your in the mood for a Chicago Pie - give Nancy's a try. Definitely where I'll go next time I'm craving it! read more

Nancy's Pizza is very good. Based on other reviews, we decided to try it. It did not disappoint. From the order placement over the phone to the delivery person, everyone was a delight to work with. The food was delicious and I'm pretty sure it's one of the best Chicago style deep dish pizza you can get in the St. Louis area. A medium deep dish pizza definitely feeds up to four people. Ordered half of stuffed pizza with spinach and artichoke (advertised on their website). I was told, "We don't have artichokes. " Instead ordered entire pizza pepperoni and mushrooms. Picked up at exact time told. Pizza already done and sitting in warmer (emphasis on WARM). Had to microwave before we could eat. Lots of cheese and pepperoni but only a few minuscule pieces of canned mushroom stems. The 4 of us only ate half and our friends asked us to take it with us or they would throw away. I miss Chicago style pizza and the flavor was good but the rest of my party will never return there. I probably wouldn't go alone. read more

Probably the worst deep dish I've ever tried. Undercooked crust thst was soggy, veggies didnt seem all that fresh and they forgot one of the toppings. Top it off with a 90 minute pickup time , an inept employee that had to ask me 3 times if I paid for it (purchased online) leads to a solid 2 star review. Called. No answer. Tried back. No answer. 3rd time, guy answers in a rushed manner. I placed my order. A 10" stuffed pepperoni. Doesn't get simpler than that. Go pick it up- cashier was friendly. Take it home , 3 bites in , realize their is sausage on my pizza. Look at the receipt, sausage. Not pepperoni . Fine. I'll eat it. But why is the crust, bottom and edge , so damn chewy and rubbery? Nancy's Pizza is the perfect pizza place! First of all, when they began to open for lunch on Fridays, they came into my work & dropped off menus and coupons. I have been ordering almost every Friday since then. They alway deliver to my office & they are quick and the food is AMAZING! I am obsessed with deep dish pizza, I am used to Burt's Pizza (featured on the food network) in Illinois but Nancy's Pizza hits the spot! They have amazing bread sticks too! I highly recommend ordering here verses any other pizza delivery place. Plus all of their employees are super nice whenever they come in with the delivery.
