We stopped in to check the spot out for a special event. We loved the really fun atmosphere. They had a lovely big bar, ample seating, a billards room, and a dart board. They even have a stage. They have specials that include $1 oyster Thursdays, Taco night. Karaoke and live music on the weekends. We ordered the blackened chicken sandwich and shrimp po boy. I loved the fact that they were blackened and not breaded shrimp, and they lemon aioli was to die for. I like that the fries were seasoned and crisp. For beverages, I got a dirty Shirley, and my husband opted for a regular Shirley Temple. Service was prompt, and they were happy to accommodate our allergies and wishes. We definitely will return to try the jambalaya and gumbo. They also have alligator bites and beignets.

Great place to see live music on a Friday night. A little too loud for conversation, but that's to be expected. I have to remove a star for the extremely long wait - two hours for just a salad and a quesadilla - but the staff was friendly and apologetic. I'd most likely go back and give them another chance in the future.

White chicken wings and less than appealing/tasting "dip"!

The steamed clams for $15/dz were soaked in an awful juice of some sort! Gator bites were chewy, not flavorful the dip was like mayonnaise! The white chicken wings were extremely dry, bacon was way over cooked, the jambalaya looked like vomit, tasted like the chicken was soaked in propane. Fried pickles were WHOLE spears and the dip was again mayonnaise!! Would NOT recommend this place at all!!

Seems to be a very popular place at least on Thursday afternoons during happy hour. I believe they do 25 cent wings on Thursdays during h.h. (11-7 every day except Sunday), so yeah, that's probably why. They run a standard h.h. beer pour special of buy one get one half off, and that's every day of the week from 11-7 except Sundays. Not bad. They have 24 libations on tap, most being craft beers. I tried a couple of different ones that I uploaded pictures of. Some of the beers on tap the day I visited: Founders Breakfast Stout, Shmaltz 518 Foggy Goggles IPA (which I really like), Barrier 6 American IPA (also very, very good), Sloop Liquid Sorcery, several Goose Island drafts, a Sixpoint, and a Singlecut (out of Queens, NY) Beersmith's IPA (also excellent!) and obviously many more. They certainly do food here, but this time 'round we didn't order grub. The interior decor kinda reminded me of New Orleans, but wasn't super convincing...and that's ok. I like that they have a sizeable stage in the corner and obviously bring in live music acts as well. Next time I'm here, I'll try some food and do and updated review. Beertender service was quite good and friendly, despite the fact they were busy. The two women running the bar were attentive and patient as we made multiple choices and both checked in with us multiple times to make sure we were all good. Nice.

    Good selection of craft beers.

Located right on the corner of U.S. Route 9 and Malta Ave in Ballston Spa, the outside is pretty low-key. The parking lot was a bit dark, with most of the light coming from the building itself but don't let that fool you. You walk in and you're right at the bar , with plenty of seating barside or table, if that's your vibe. Not into sitting up front? No problem, there's additional seating in the back for a more relaxed feel. Service was a win. Our waiter was courteous, attentive, and accommodating without hovering. Now the food, the Gooouda Burger caught my eye immediately. I ordered it bunless, wrapped in buttery romaine lettuce, topped with crispy bacon and fried onions. Paired it with their straw fries (seriously good) and a cold beer to wash it down. First bite? Exactly what you want. Food to temp, everything was crisp not soggy, the burger was cooked perfectly, even at well done, which is not easy to pull off. I can only speak for the burger, but based on that alone: don't judge this place by its exterior. Give it a shot, you might be pleasantly surprised. (And yes... the picture is of a burger I couldn't wait to bite into )

We both agreed that this place was a good find and easily located right off interstate 87 at exit 13S. Prices are reasonable and the food is good! Definitely worth it.

The price is on the higher side for this area but at the same time you have several things to factor in.. everything tastes homemade including the soups, the portions are large (my mom and I both had leftovers), and you are at a golf course as well so that already sets an expectation for elevated cost in my mind. The service was very friendly and you can tell they work hard, everyone is readily available to help you out while also constantly moving and making sure everyone has everything they need / having efficient table touches, etc. I had the Chicken & Broccoli Alfredo & my mother got the Ribeye.. they were both huge lol but they were also both cooked and prepared perfectly! They have a TON of alcohol selections - for seltzer / can people like myself FYI - they have High Noon, Truly, Surfside, all the good ones! The ambiance is great, it was pretty much a full house when we came and everyone was clearly enjoying themselves. The room when you first walk in has lots of tables by big windows and a bar, and then the back left hand side is full of gorgeous murals covering the walls and additional seating kind of in its own little corner. Overall, definitely recommend this place for a drink and a really nice dinner. Just come hungry and allow yourself the option to go home after with some leftovers! For our meals plus an alcohol beverage each, it was $70 or so, plus a tip.

The good, if you're looking for a place to hang out, have some drinks, enjoy a great view with live music this is the place. Would've gotten 5 stars easily. Great location with a great view and great vibes. The problem we encountered was the restaurant part. Showed up 5:30 on a Wednesday evening, was told that it would be 45 mins to an hour. Looked like there were open tables, but sure we'll wait. Go have a drink outside and listen to the band. An hour later I went to see how much longer it would be, was told there were still 3 parties ahead (note, that there were plenty of available tables, but apparently the kitchen was backed up). Finally get seated about 6:45. My wife ordered clams for an appetizer and a burger. I got French onion soup and a turkey sandwich from the menu. We proceeded to wait over 45 minutes for the apps to come out. Like what are we doing? It's clams and a soup. Our waitress checked in on us once, honestly think she was embarrassed to come by because it was taking so long. Thirty five minutes later a very nice girl who was not our waitress named Sierra came out with our food and apologized about the wait. The food was ok, I mean at this point we're there for 2.5 hours for burgers and a turkey sandwich so no matter how good it was we were gonna be disappointed and annoyed. Maybe we just caught them on a bad night, it's a shame because the place is so nice, I'd think it could be one of the hottest spots in the area, especially on a beautiful night like tonight. I just can't fathom it taking so long with the menu that they offer. An hour for a table then almost 2 hours for what we ordered is insane. Hope they right the ship, cause not sure who would wait that amount of time for such a basic menu.
