This place is probably the best Mexican food I've ever had! The Machaca dish is absolutely amazing and delicious, it's my personal favorite. Tried many of the dishes here and not one of them was ever bad. They were all really good. Their service is awesome, and if you're there around your birthday it's a great place to go. They give you a giant sombrero to wear and take your picture. There is good amount of seating but the place is popular and can fill up quickly. The Del Mar burrito was packed with flavor and cooked to perfection, the camarones a la diabla had just the right amount of heat (spicy, bold, and sooo satisfying), and the vampiro with asada? Crispy, juicy, and unforgettable. Every dish tasted fresh and made with care. And let's talk about the Palomas refreshing, savory, perfectly balanced, and the ideal pairing for such a flavorful meal. We are from Sacramento but are already talking about our next trip back here if we are in the area. Superb customer service! Staff was incredibly attentive, friendly and provided an amazing experience!!! What really made the experience stand out, though, was the incredible customer service. The food was pretty darn good. I had the Camarones Rojo and my wife tried the birria torta. Both dishes were fantastic, the shrimp was spicy and super flavorful and their beans & rice are AMAZING. Best I've had outside of Mexico really. My wife loved her torta. The carne was juicy, the bread crispy on the outside and chewy inside, fantastic. You have to order the consume separately but its a must. It ranks in my wife's top 3 favorites. There were only a couple not quite perfect things. Nothing to major, but worth mentioning. The birria torta came with raw jalapeños. While fresh and usually enjoyable, this just provided an additional raw heat that didn't go we'll with the rest so she removed them. If you dine in they provide chips & salsa. Unfortunately the salsa was quite bland. The chips needed salt too. They worked as an appetizer but could have been better. They have a few more dishes we're excited to try and look forward to eating here again!
