This is my go to threading place, it has been since 2007. In the beginning it was hit or miss but for the price i stuck it out. You have to find the right lady to do your eyebrows here and I'm so glad I did (no more hit or miss haha)!! I only go to Twinkle. She's awesome and super sweet. She knows her stuff and she's very good at it. I drive all the way from Garden Grove to Costa Mesa just to get my eyebrows threaded. This review is for Twinkle. I have tried couple of the other girls due to the fact that Twinkle was off on tues and I dont mind trying the other girls out. hmmm that sounded kind of wrong. Anyways.. yea I never realized how much of a difference just a simple thing as doing your eyebrows can just brighten your face. I came here for the first time and had my eyebrows done by Tika. I was sat and serviced right away on a Sunday afternoon around 4. She did a great job. I really like the fact that before she even started, she asked me what I wanted and the shape I prefered. After she did the first one, she showed me the results and made sure I liked it before she moved on to the next one. I have been getting waxed, threaded, and everything of the sort for several years now and this experience was not as painful as some of the other times for some reason. This place is great. This was my first time going here. I had been to one about 2 miles down the road in Santa Ana on Bristol in the Target shopping center. The one near target did a horrible job, so i went to a place that could do some repair work. The lady that did it was amazing. she fixed the one area that i do not like thick. she was quick about it and relatively painless. Ive been to places where it hurts like a son of a gun, but she did an amazing job at keeping the pain level to a minimum. She was quick as in I got in there, laid back in the chair, and 10 mins later i paid and was walking out the door with great looking eye brows. And the price was amazing. After tip i think i only paid like $9. Beats paying $13. This is my new go to brow place! read more

I started getting a Bikini wax here regularly with Twinkle a few years ago, she does a great job and it is only $35 I think? They pour the wax into a plastic cup so there is no double dipping and everything is sanitary! The bed you lay on has a disposable sheet which is changed after every customer! read more

I have been getting my waxing done regularly for over 20 years. I got a full arms wax done here, and I'm completely disgusted. I left with half the bottle of wax still on me, and half the hair. The lady helping me (I believe her name was Ruby), was trying to move so fast that she literally couldn't wait long enough to let the wax actually stick before attempting to remove it. I asked if she was in a hurry for something, but apparently this is how she waxed. I asked if she was new at this and she said she'd been doing it for 3-4 years. She needed some serious training as to how one should wax. I will never be coming back here again. read more

This is the place I was looking for! When it comes to personal grooming, I care about three things: 1. Cost 2. Speed 3. Quality. Common sense dictates that you can't find all three in one place. But I found them all here! The first thing I'll emphasize is speed. I have absolutely no patience for salons that take 45 minutes to wax my legs. Like, seriously, that's just ridiculous. At Nanu, I was done in 10-15 minutes. THAT'S how it should be! By now you'd have guessed I'm a no frills kind of person. Let's skip the serving of hot tea while I wait, just get me in and out and don't charge me an arm and a leg. I will only do this personal grooming stuff at salons if it's affordable, and if it's not then hello, Gillette and Tweezerman. Ok, so most places that fit that bill have a slight bit of seediness to them. You can't expect a salon to be inexpensive but also super fancy looking. But at Nanu, I was incredibly impressed by the clean, modern look and feel! Lastly - quality. Every person there does a great job, Angie does tend to take a little too much off, but if you speak up before hand, she does ok. I usually frequent Ziba Beauty for threading but I thought I'd try someplace different this time. I was pleasantly pleased with Nanu Threading, although the chic atmosphere of Ziba may warrant the higher prices. The place was not crowded and the threading attendant did a good job. She worked very carefully and I did not feel rushed (as I do at Ziba due to all the waiting customers). However, the attendant did not ask how I wanted my eyebrows before starting. I would definitely come back to Nanu Threading and recommend it to anyone (if you can look past the decor). read more

Krisha did my brows and she did a fabulous job, especially for what she had to work with. My brows are not terribly thin but they aren't exactly thick, and they are VERY differently shaped. I left with brows that looked full and symmetrical. I love a full, defined brow and I feel like she was able to achieve that look for me. Great work, super fast service. I came in for a henna tattoo I showed the girl a picture of what I wanted and she started to work on me ... While she was working I told her it looks not centered and she said it was .. Ok.. So then she kept working and I told her it looks kind of messy/sloppy not like the picture she said it is like the picture once the henna peals off it won't look sloppy and it'll be more defined.. Ok so the henna came off and it looks even worse than how it initially looked .. Some spots just looks like a big blob of mess ! she spent 5-7 mins on my henna total!!!! I usually go to Sameera's Salon in Fullerton for eyebrow threading. However, I needed a quick brow clean up and was too lazy to drive. I came across Nanu Threading thanks to my fellow Yelpers. I walked in and was immediately attended to by Tika. Tika did a great job with my brows. She did one brow first, then will show you to make sure you approve, then she finishes the other brow. Tika didn't rush, she took her time and did a great job. Their prices are slightly higher than Sameera's Salon, but I do plan on returning. read more
