As an elite member for the last several years I have been to many locations and every single auto parts store that exist I am a regular premium customer to all of them because I buy and sell quite a few cars. Just got a 2011 Acura RDX turbo and needed something very simple as a relay. Advance Auto has one of the best online fitment and purchase to pick up systems in place. Found the part I needed so I decided to just go pick it up. I showed up I tried to buy two of them but they only had one, the guy who rang me up was very professional and polite. Took the part went in the parking lot did not even have it in my possession for 2 minutes and it did not work properly. I then walked back into the store with my receipt I had for 2 minutes. The guy Jorden said that it was the wrong part looked up the correct part and the correct part was four times the price of the one that I purchased. I agreed to pay the extra money since they had it in stock so I was ready to do an exchange. He then looked at me and told me he refuses to exchange it and refuses to give me a refund. At first I thought he was joking but he was not. He refused to exchange or refund it not because of policy but because he told me to my face "you ordered the wrong part" and then he talked trash about the guy that rang me up as if it was his fault. I also have a screenshot that says it's an exact fit for the part that I purchased and then he said that the fitment is always incorrect. I've been buying at advance Auto for years and just relocated to the area and this is the nearest location and very seldom does advance Auto make a mistake on the fitment. I then told Jorden that his response and attitude is unacceptable and I will be complaining. He then said to me "I don't care". So basically advance Auto has this guy named Jorden who doesn't care about customers, who trashes his employees and also talks trash about the online fitment system. In the end I took the part that he refused to refund or exchange which I was willing to buy but due to his attitude I refuse to spend more money with him. Went a mile or so down the road and bought it from another company or I bought an extra one I should say because I needed to purchase two of them. So once I went to the other competitor location (who was actually a lot more professional than this rude jerk Jorden) I put the new part in the car along with the part that he said was my fault that I ordered the wrong part. I am also including a picture of exact fitment because this guy Jorden said it was not exact fit. The end result was I originally purchased the correct part I just needed two of them and they only had one. The main point of this is this guy Jorden is 100% wrong I had the original part as the website stated, the cashier guy was correct and I was correct. The only person here that was actually wrong was Jorden. It seems he doesn't have respect for the company that he works for or his employees or his customers. In addition to this I contacted the corporate complaint as of today it has been a couple of days and I was told I would be contacted by a team leader at this location. I never got a contact from the team leader so even the corporate here or the local location is failing to do their job. I have many friends I've made in advance autos just because I'm a regular and never before has anyone been so unprofessional and ridiculous. I don't really work well with guys that think they know everything and trash everything around them and this seems to be the case. So I'm sure that if corporate decides to respond to this it will be a basic templated response that says I'm sorry you had a bad experience, blah blah but then do nothing about it and let this guy run off their business. Good luck advance Auto with this guy Jorden should you choose to keep this guy on the payroll.

When she got here, she had almost no brakes, rotors were history, and of course pad were bad completely worn. We ordered the parts for our mechanic but he could not get to it. I contacted Fidel, who I was told to do the work. I dropped the car off and explained the situation. He and his guys looked at the tires and stated that they would not make it to California and I agreed. She was on limited income but he worked out a deal where he got her used but searched the yard for tires on newly wrecked vehicles so he knew she would be safe. He put the brakes, rotors, etc put on and the tires for less that she would hav paid for the brakes alone at my other mechanic. The mechanic, knowing what the situation was, did a full safety check on the car, added a full gallon of oil (she was nearly empty of oil), checked her power steering fluid found it low and refilled it and fixed the leak in that line, also went through the entire cars engine and transmission to make sure it was safe and dependable for such a long drive by an elderly woman. ,The mechanic was incredibly able, left nothing to chance and easy to communicate with and was as caring about his lady as he would a good friend. And the cost was less than changing the brakes would have been with my other mechanic. Thanks, she said her car loved her and had never been in such good shape. Thanks to you all there. Your care was very much noticed and appreciated. And she made it to her destination and back,,,,and all was very well.

Just takes conversations and being knowledgeable about the vehicle and process helps.....when I communicate with them. They are there to sell cars and I are there to buy one. We used to go to the amazing Cedar Park location for servicing, but have moved in the area in the past year and it is more convenient here. I was at the location for over 3hours waiting for just an oil change and inspection per my service matience package scheduled for 1:30pm. A routine task that takes 15-30 minutes. After over an hour and half I asked if they had an update because I waiting patiently for a long time for a quick service for them to tell me all day they have been down a bay and behind. Why would you not tell me when I checked in or really any point while I'm waiting? They tell me I'm still in line and they haven't even seen/started my car yet! They go to check with the mechanics and they come back and say 40 More minutes after I have been stranded at the dealership for 2 hours at this point already. They say they can pull my car and I can reschedule. How does that help me? I'm out of all of this time for work unexpectedly already and then have to come back another day and hope it goes faster when I have had long wait times both times. There wasn't that many customers and tons of inside sales employees sitting around talking. The last time I waited for a long time too for the same service and they tried to get me to agree to add services on while I was waiting instead of just doing what I scheduled. At this point it will be better for my time and sanity to just drive back to Cedar Park for service rather than deal with Lost Pines Toyota.
