She also offered another deal on brake fluid, brake cleaner, and lubricant, but I did not need this one. She also set me up for the Autozone Rewards program, which basically gives members $20 for every $100 spent. She was also incredibly friendly, supremely knowledgeable, and friendly. I was also very impressed with the cleanliness of the store and the complimentary window decals for recording the mileage when one changes their oil.

I stopped in on a Sunday to get spark plugs for my car, and they didn't have them in stock. The extremely helpful and personable person who helped me explained that he didn't have them in stock, and offered two options. He said I could run down to Cost Less Auto Parts and get them there, because that's where he was ordering them from, or I could come back in the morning, and they'd have them for me. I was extremely appreciative of his transparency, and opted to come back in the morning. One thing that really impressed me about the person who helped me is that I was next in line while he tended to a customer. While he took care of that customer, the phone rang, and he answered, asking the caller to "please hold". After he finished with his customer, he called me over to the counter. I asked, "Do you need to get that call?", and he responded, "No. You were here before they called. They're next." That was really impressive! I cannot count the number of times employees tending to me ignored me the instant a phone call came in, when they really should have done exactly what the Tony's Auto Parts employee did for me. The next morning, I called to see if my spark plugs had arrived, and the person who helped me was extremely helpful, friendly, and professional. He checked and confirmed that my spark plugs had arrived. When I got to the store, the person who called me to the counter was the same person I'd spoken with on the phone, and he grabbed my spark plugs and got them to me immediately. I asked if they sold dielectric grease and anti-seize, and he said that they did. He then went to the aisle that had them, grabbed a tube of each, and brought them to me at the counter. He said that they were out of the small pouches of anti-seize, but I didn't need the big tube. He double-checked, and found more of the tiny pouches, and sold me one of those. He could have directed me to the aisle to fend for myself, but he really did an awesome job of providing outstanding customer service. The store is much larger on the inside than it looks from the outside, and they offer a much larger inventory of miscellaneous parts than you'll find at the big chains (such as a HUGE selection of hardware of various grades, racing fuel, specialty tools, etc.). I'm very impressed with Tony's Auto Parts, and will probably be stopping by very regularly since my car's now out of warranty. Tony's definitely feels like a more personal, personable, and "home town" parts store than the big chains, and that is a great thing!

Nearly $3,000 bought us failed brakes, unauthorized work, and a gag agreement. When we refused to…read morebe silenced, My Auto Works told us to call the police in order to get our truck back. I rarely leave negative reviews, but our experience with My Auto Works was too concerning not to share. This place is dishonest, untrustworthy, and will try to force your silence when their work has been challenged. They lack in communication and are extremely overpriced (as a plethora of reviews below confirm). A more detailed account of our situation is included below with an attachment of the agreement they tried to force us to sign to stay quiet: We originally paid approximately almost $3,000 for brake repairs. When the truck developed brake problems again while that repair was still under warranty, we expected the issue to be addressed. Instead, we were quoted another $2,300 for what they claimed were entirely new problems, with little explanation as to why the original repair had failed. We paid their diagnostic fee and sought a second opinion. Then a third. Both independent shops concluded the issue appeared to be the same warranty-covered repair, not the new repair My Auto Works was recommending. After asking us to bring the truck back so they could "make it right," the communication was terrible. We constantly had to call for updates, despite repeated promises that they would do better. The biggest issue was that they performed work we never authorized. We had made it clear we were waiting on pricing before deciding how to proceed, yet after days without any communication, we called and were told the work had already been done and the cost was even higher than the original quote. We never approved this work. When we declined the additional repair and asked for our truck back, they initially tried to charge us another diagnostic fee. After reviewing their own recorded phone calls, they admitted we had never been told that fee would apply and agreed to waive it. Then came the most unbelievable part. When my husband went to pick up our truck, he was handed a "Mutual Release and Non-Disparagement Agreement." They wanted us to agree not to post reviews, discuss our experience publicly, or have anyone else do so before they would release our vehicle. We refused because we believe customers have every right to truthfully share their experiences. They initially refused to give us our truck back unless we signed and told us we needed to call law enforcement to make that happen. Only after another employee admitted, "Roland f***ed up. He was supposed to have you sign the non-disparagement agreement first, but you signed your invoice first. So you're getting the truck back. Take the win and leave," were we allowed to leave with our vehicle. Mistakes happen in the automotive industry. What matters is honesty, communication, and accountability. Unfortunately, our experience was marked by poor communication, conflicting diagnoses, work performed without our authorization, and an attempt to condition the return of our truck on signing away our right to speak about what happened. Poor communication, unauthorized work, conflicting diagnoses, and an attempt to prevent us from sharing our honest experience is not how customers should be treated.
