Don't buy car batteries from this store! Lasted less then 7 months. Went to return and wouldn't do anything with out the original receipt even though they had me in the system and bar codes and month stickers on battery.... Not shopping there again.! The staff was fine, friendly, and got me in and out of the store in lEss than 5 minutes. I didn't go looking for specific parts and didn't need any special services so I can't comment on that. To be honest I never go to an auto parts store unless something easy needs replacing. I'm not car mechanically savvy, but I can replace a battery or a light bulb. When it was brought to my attention that my break light was out I went to the nearest store to replace it. First I called to see if they had the light bulb I needed in stock. The gentleman was very polite and was able to let me know that they had it. The store was easy to find and there was plenty of parking. It is a small store with an old, grungy sort of feel as though it had been forgotten. Their book that identified what light bulb I needed was extremely used to the point that it was falling apart, but I was able to find the model number and grab the bulb quickly. That's when one of the two employees asked me if I needed help. Once he saw I had a light bulb he just walked away and started making a phone call. There was no asking if I needed anything else or offering to complete my purchase. I went to the only other employee I saw who rang me up. He did so very methodically without any pleasantries. No asking if I found everything ok, or if I found everything I needed. Even when I attempted making small talk mentioning I never had a break light go out he didn't bother replying. He didn't even thank me for shopping there. The store had what I needed, but the employees were quite cold. read more

Back at home, I go to Napa knowing that certain products from their brand are tremendously cheaper than competitors. Needless to say, when I learned about my home boy's brake light going out, I knew that this was the only place to go. Service 5/5: At home, all the bulbs are in sitting in a box in the back so I thought, "I can just ask the people at the front to grab me some." -- Come to find the bulbs were actually on the shelves. Our cashier literally stepped out of the box to help us with that. Then we walked around the store to look for some other things to help my bro with his windshield/rain issue. After grabbing some rainx, we walked over to the wiper section, and she called out to see if we needed more help. Again, we did. Their wiper booklet actually gave part numbers rather than length of the wipers which made it that much more difficult to find the ones that we needed. She looked up our car on the database and BAM. 30 second later, I'm paying for everything at the counter. Products 4.5/5: The bulbs which are about 30% the cost of the leading brand, worked great. RainX was applied to all windows and windshields with Scott's Shop Towels. Windshield wipers were also installed which is where I'm docking points. The wipers were leaving streaks on one side and they're brand new. Overall: I was really surprised with the service here and I wouldn't have it any other way. Although the products were mostly expensive, they all worked for the most part. If I actually lived in Washington, and had more time to spare, I probably would've taken more options, but this was a one stop shop for the time being. I recommend these guys everywhere for bulbs and other misc items. read more

Very reasonable price. Better than Shucks. 2. Their employees are experienced and helpful. They know cars very well and they know their products very well. 3. Their people are also honest. They recommend the best products, or the best value. They have never tried to lure me to buy the high end stuff, again, unlike Shucks. read more

I've two older vehicles that I maintain myself when possible. Often OEM parts are unavailable or ridiculously expensive. This particular NAPA has been super helpful for me when I'm stuck for parts. They're happy to spend 10+minutes looking through books to find a particular radiator hose that I might cut down to use as an air intake, or a particular metric brake hose that would work for my clutch slave. I've been living in the area for almost two decades, and have made at least a couple dozen stops here over the years, I've dropped several $k at this NAPA over the years, but they will no longer be getting my business. Here's why: TL:DR - 3 employees, 1 other customer who was finished, waited TEN MINUTES, then was condescended. --- I maintain several passenger cars, vans, and trucks, and am almost constantly in need of auto parts. Generally speaking I will go through channels and get parts from the wholesale suppliers in Kirkland, but occasionally they do not have something in stock, or the time-frame available to make repairs is short, etc... Local parts shops shine here, and generally come through when needed. Cue some mechanical failure! A couple weeks ago, one of our 2001 model year vehicles had a catastrophic brake caliper failure and needed immediate replacement of the single caliper due to scheduling issues and a need for the vehicle. (And before anyone gets started, yes we know one 'should' replace both calipers, pads and rotors at the same time, etc.. (the full brake replacement is scheduled for the spring / summer when scheduling allows.) After verifying online that the Redmond NAPA store had the caliper in stock, temporarily down a vehicle, and eager to make the repair, we drove to the Redmond NAPA. FWIW, I was there to purchase their "Altrom" line of calipers, which should have been a re-manufactured TRW part. I entered the store... stood there and waited for... I am not kidding you, literally TEN MINUTES before being addressed by a staff member. I know because kid and mom were waiting in the car, and I glanced at the time when I entered the store. There was ONE other customer present, seated on the padded stool to the left, he was having a personal conversation with one of the employees behind the desk, having apparently finished up their business transaction, I now know more than I care to have overheard about this unknown gentleman's woes, and that one of your counter-persons shares some of these concerns. Needless to say, this particular employee was more interested in the personal conversation than any customers present... Of the two other employees, the gentleman in the middle was on the phone, and the other employee, on the right, had his head buried in a catalog, apparently looking something up. I waited patiently, listening to the sordid details of the other customer, seated at the counter, his intrepid exploits in auto-repair, problems with getting his children to behave, etc... I assumed that at any moment, the employee on the phone would conclude his call, or the employee doing the lookup in the catalog would find and record the item he was working on, and would provide me with some service... Time passes. At this point approximately 5 minutes have passed, which is a long time to be standing there, awkwardly waiting for service, so I get my phone out and look up the exact part number on the NAPA site, in order to expedite the process once the counter help is ready. As I hear the middle gentleman concluding his call, I look up from my phone, expecting to be addressed any second, and imagine my incredulity as the employee looks right at me, then without a word, looks down and begins dialing out, another telephone call! At this point I am a little befuddled, but I assume it must be a relatively important matter to ignore a customer standing at the counter, I hear the gentleman talk to the person on the other end, vaguely indicating that he doesn't have an answer but that he bets his co-worker does (the guy reading the catalog). Now the guy on the phone loopsin the guy who was buried in the catalog, all to service the guy who was called over five minutes after I walked into the store! A couple more minutes of this and the guy on the left, chatting with the customer notices my incredulous look and says in the most condescending tone possible "Hey bud, need some help finding some wiper blades?" ...blink... AYFKM? At this point I clearly state that, no, I was there to buy an Altrom line brake caliper, but as I had been made to literally stand ignored for 10 minutes, and then condescended, I was no longer interested in buying the part from them. Utterly confused (I recognized by sight each of the three workers there that day) I left the shop and relayed the reason I had no part in hand. Went elsewhere - was In and out, part in hand and paid for, in 7 minutes flat at the Irish sounding store down the street, and there was customer in front of me... Redmond NAPA - Get your S**t together guys! I know that the majority of your business is B2B and that corporate and fleet customers are your primary demographic. But know that my vans, box truck, pickup, and passenger cars, motorcycle, etc... will not be getting any more parts from you. Treating your customers as inferior and the blatantly obvious good ol' boy club act is pathetic, and IS costing you business. read more

Went here to get snow chains during last winter. Usually I look stuff up before buying but had a friend tell me which ones to get. The lady at the counter told me the ones I had reserved aren't good, can break the ABS sensor and suggested a pair that was over twice as expensive. I bought them on her recommendation. After going home, I did a little more digging. Turns out the cheaper kind I wanted had NO significant history of breaking or messing up with the ABS. Not only that, but another person was told the same thing at another napa in another state so I highly suspect they are told and trained to tell this white lie. Needless to say, I was pretty pissed and went back to exchange it. The lady kept insisting that it was safer and tried to show me on the box (which she couldn't find). Waste of time. I'd go to walmart or autozone for fluids, spark plugs, air filters, and basic parts since napa is more expensive but... Napa has a really good inventory. If you have an uncommon car and you want a part fast, they always have your part and if they don't they can order it quick. Also if youre looking for fuel lines or vacuum lines go to napa. I've also always had had good luck with Napa brand parts as well in terms of durability. And the people at this Napa are always helpful and friendly. read more

Impressive Service! My Husband is a mechanic and ended up needing to help a client over the weekend on a rare car. He called up Napa and got a hold of an employee he thinks was named Mike. Mike told him he didn't have the part, but that he'd call around and call him back. He called around and gave it every best effort. If I could do more than 5 stars I would. I called ahead to check for availability and the price of an oil filter and large jug of 10w39. I received a slightly lower price then what was actually listed in store but to my surprise I was a few dollars short the manager gave me a better boil filter and knocked off $5 off the bottle of oil so I can buy myself a thing of degreaser. I suddenly found myself a quart of oil low while filling up at the Chevron next to this NAPA store. I got the oil I needed and went out to find that the oil cap was impossible to get off. I've never had this happen in all my years but it did. So I went inside to see if I could borrow a wrench. They did and with it's help I added the oil I needed. My Toyota is about 10 years old and the battery had been dying so when I returned to leave I found I had left things running while in the store and changing my oil and I couldn't start the car. I had a spare battery-jump system and hooked it up but still no luck. I went back in to look at batteries while I let the spare battery charge the dead one a little and went back out to see if I could now start it. No such luck. So I headed back to the store to find the doors locked. They had just closed the store at 7:00PM as indicated. Now what? I couldn't find anyone willing or able to jump start my car so I went back and knocked on the door. A young lady employee came to the door and I asked if I could just buy a battery - just the first thing we could find and I'd be out as fast as possible. Allen, the other employee or owner? offered to jump-start me instead but I said I didn't care but I wasn't sure it would work and would rather give them the business by purchasing the battery. He grabbed a meter and came out to see if the battery even needed replacement since the indicator on the battery itself, still said it was okay, but the device confirmed I needed a new one. So he made sure to find the correct battery for my car, installed the battery for me, took care of the old battery and did all of this without seeming to rush and without making me feel bad for keeping them both late.. It only cost me a tad over $100 as well so it was a good price and amazing customer service. They both stayed a good 20-30 minutes later than they would have otherwise. I highly recommend this store and, while I had never shopped there before, I will be using them from now on for all of my needs!! read more

They had what I was looking for but the customer service is sub-par.... stood around confused on where the line was for 10 minutes, while I was standing here the phone continued to ring off the hook and neither of the employees moved a muscle to pick it up. Zero acknowledgement that they will be right with me. Customer in front of me was asking for basic help with know what spark plugs to buy, employees answer was "well which ones do you want?" ...... pretty sure that is why he asked the question because the customer has no clue what to get..... Wow, I just went in to get a new headlight for my 2004 car. The salesperson said if I hadn't replaced the other light in a while, I may as well do both because often the old bulb goes out after a new one on the other side. Wasn't to make $, just a suggestion. And she didn't try to sell me the higher priced bulbs. And OFFERED to REPLACE the bulbs for me, since it could be difficult! One bulb was hard to get out, so she got her co-worker to help me. Who knows how long it would have taken me to do it (if at all). Great customer service! I will be back and you should go too! read more
