EVERY SINGLE EMPLOYEE HERE IS RUDE. I had a terrible experience at this O'Reilly's. The man helping me was incredibly rude and talked to me like I was dumb -- maybe because I'm a woman, but either way it was completely disrespectful. He clearly didn't want to help me at all. On top of that, he was eating sunflower seeds and spitting them out while "assisting" me. It was unprofessional, unhygienic, and honestly disgusting. I came in for help and left feeling disrespected and frustrated. Management needs to address this behavior because customers shouldn't be treated like this. This is a pretty big auto parts store which is great if you need a part for your car or truck. The reason for the five star review is because the employees here were very determined to find a very obscure part for an older vehicle that my buddy owned. They spent almost an hour on the phone with different contacts and researching solutions online for us. This was after visiting three other auto parts stores that weren't nearly as helpful. I stopped in here yesterday to get new windshield wipers. Their employee Brenden, was very friendly and helpful, and showed me the way to the aisle with the wipers. He was the expert in knowing which wipers to recommend for me as well. It took me awhile to figure out how to put on my new wipers out in the parking lot. But just as their sign says (see photo), they were willing to help me put them on, had it been necessary. And while I was there, I decided to get me some hood insulation retainers for my truck. It turns out they had the exact retainers that I needed. Brenden helped me again with those as well. It's also worth noting, that just has the sign says (see photo), they will loan out tools for you to use out in the parking lot if necessary. I went in yesterday to find a replacement headlight bulb and new windshield wipers and although it says on Oreilly's website that they will install wipers for free, I didn't really expect anyone to as they were quite busy-who knew auto parts stores were the happening place Anyway, I went up to the register and a super smiley and pleasant young man named William rang up my items and I asked if he would mind installing my wipers AND my headlight bulb. Without hesitation he replied, "Of course! I got ya'!" But had to ask permission to leave the register as they had several customers in the store. He asked if I minded waiting and of course I did not mind, he was doing me a favor, especially since it had just started sprinkling again. I waited maybe a little less than 10 min-no problem and William said he was ready to go. I kid you not, he had my new bulb and wipers installed in probably less than 4 min! Not counting the few he had to run into the store for some pliers because my wiper blade was bent. So he fixed that up and had everything taken care of with a big smile on his face the whole time. I thanked him and apologized that he had to stand in the rain to help me and he said it was not a problem. I just wanted to commend O'Reilly's on such a pleasant experience and friendly attendant. This is as great customer service and even though I spent and arm & leg on new wiper blades I could've gotten at Walmart for probably a lot less, I would go back to O'Reilly's because William showed such excellent service! I just wanted to say that he made my day as it would've taken me at least 30-45 min to replace everything! Thank you so much William! read more

My neighbor gave me a call that her battery's died she stranded at a park and ride trying to get home . She gave this oreillys a call and the guy working their said the batteries was still under the 3 year warranty. I took the battery out brought it over. The attendant understands I was getting a new battery and brining the old one back for warranty. The Attend gave me $20 for the battery. I asked excuse me I needed a battery he got frustrated and started cussin out me and my neighbor. His assistant manager PATRICK was right besides us he didn't do anything about it. then he just leaves us when I kindly ask for the battery back . He didn't wanna do the core return he gave us. Then his manager came MICHAEL. Gave us attitude when I was kindly asking him for the battery back. Long story short the attendant lied to both managers about what we tould him. End of the day no one got hurt and we got a battery. I don't understand how people can be so unprofessional . didn't graduate high school and end up at jobs like this get mad to us paying customers . I admit that I know little to nothing when it comes to cars. :P Therefore, when I discovered that one of my headlights was out, I went straight to the O'Reilly in Redmond. Now in a new location, their shop can be found in the same plaza as Bai Tong, next to Safeway and Rite Aid. At the shop, Jose helped me find the exact type of headlight that I needed. He even offered to change it out! :) The people working at this O'Reilly are fast and friendly, provide great service and will help you get back on the road in no time. read more

Overrated place, no thanks to annoying commercials. Had to replace a headlight bulb and stopped in. Per the website, they advertise assistance with bulb replacement if purchased at the store (sounds great). No help was offered contrary to some other reviews. I asked for some assistance to remove the car battery to access the driver side headlight, figuring they're more expert/quicker than I am, but service was slow and apathetic. I've replaced my car headlight years ago (thanks youtube), so the only redeeming thing is that they offered me the tools to do so myself in the parking lot...after I asked...and you'll have to know what tools/size to specify to them. I guess your experience will be determined by when you decide to stop in. read more

OK so I've been here before and I've been to it when it was at another location. Something major changed recently! I was confused when I entered the store and was happily approached by a staff member. He was energetic, super helpful, and really knew the industry as well as the products that were available and the other items that were pitched to me was very helpful, insightful, and well explained. I was so used to the old O'Reilly I knew and went to as rarely as possible and only in a need now kind of way cause I'd rather Amazon to save me money and hassle. But after this experience, I'm thinking I don't have to avoid visiting this store anymore? I don't know if it's a recent change, new staffing, or the holiday thing. But please keep it up! Feeling really good about my experience today. After watching a YouTube video, I diagnosed my alternator was bad. After watching another video on the replacement procedure, I got up the courage to try to change it on my own. I called O'Riley and was informed it was in stock. I asked if I would be able to borrow a socket set and tension tool, they informed me that I would. I then bought the part and used the borrowed tools to change it out in an hour in their parking lot. Friendly, helpful, and informative service. Great place! read more

I went in to get a replacement battery the other day for my Ford Escape. The staff were very quick in providing not only a new one, but some tools, since I was planning on doing the replacement out in the parking lot. One of the staff members, Dori, even helped me out when i was stuck removing the battery from one of the clamps. It was great! Definitely coming back for any car needs. read more

After getting my car worked on by a dealership that buy alot of parts from one of your other locations, that dealership no longer services my vehicle due to a management team, but sense they had purchased my radiator from O Reilly's and it comes with a lifetime warranty for part defects. I was talk as long as I had the receipt from the dealer that I wouldn't have a problem exchanging it out! So I called O'Reillys they told me it wouldn't be a problem so ... I take my receipt & radiator in to the nearest location near me. At first the guy was confused but told me the part number had changed recently and his store did not stock the item and sent me to the nearest store that does which was 40 mins away this O'Reillys in Bellevue.. As soon as I explained I need to exchange this radiator the front clerk went and got his manager ... and this is where everything went wrong! I have never felt so disrespected in my life. He process to tell me he doesn't stock this item. Mind you at this point no one has even looked up the item. And I already had another store tell me they have it. So I explained to him that the other store already checked and that they said you have one.. After a back-and-forth for a few minutes on this subject he finally decided to look after continuously telling me because I was not the dealership that he would not warranty out the radiator even know I was instructed by the dealership and o'reillys that they would as long as I had a copy of the receipt which I had in my hand. He continued to tell me he doe not stock this item multiple times... at this point I am pissed but not trying to get mad... when go over the fact that I was told now by 2 o'Reillys that I could exchange and you have the item in stock he proceeded to talk to me like I was dumb and would ask me dumb questions like are you this dealership is this the store you got it at.... knowing I explained in the very beginning what I was told and the fact multiple o'Reilly's employees have told me now the exact opposite of what your telling... now after disrespecting while the other clerk sat there and laughed as if they treat people like this all the time. Then to TOP IT ALL OFF... At this point he let me know if I wanted to buy it I could he had it in stock... but he didn't if I wanted to warranty it out! That is some of the most disrespectful unethical bullshit I ever had to put up with as every small women to be treated by a 2 men like at . Great experience at the Redmond location to have a car battery replaced. Al who was working the front was awesome. He was friendly, professional, had me laughing more than a few times, and very quick at replacing a rather challenging battery ...i.e. bolted from underneath with several components needing to be moved aside. He made quick work of it -- under 10 minutes. Then he ran a bunch of diagnostics on the car afterwords. It all checked out. No joke - Al made my trip. I will go back. read more

I had a woman yell at me on 520 about a brake light being out. I had no idea so I went straight to O'Reilly's to discover that my brake light was out. Flustered and upset by the road rage I encountered I walked inside to find James offering to help me. I told him what had happened and he offered immediate assistance. He also made me laugh which was a great stress relief considering my highway encounter. He then took the bull by the horns and replaced my brake light for me because I had no idea how to do that! O'Reilly's Auto Parts Redmond provides dishonest and deceptive advertising. I recently called to check on the availability and price for an alternator. The sales person was very courteous, providing details of the part and stating is was in stock. Then continued to inform me O'Reilly's would price match any other price by another retailer that was lower. I did in fact price shop and found an identical part, with the same warranty, for $20 less. I then drove 15 miles to the store to purchase the part. After providing the part details to the counter sales person, who identified himself as the assistant manger, and noting that I had called in previously and been given the price match guarantee, he refused to honor the policy. He stated that O'Reilly's had the part in store and because the other retailer would have to overnight the part in from their warehouse, the price match did not apply. I stated that this additional criteria was not provided as a condition of price match and they should honor the information they provided. He rudely refused to honor the price match guarantee provided to me by the counter sales person earlier. Needless to say I did not purchase the alternator at O'Reilly's and our family and friends will no longer patronize this store or other any other O'Reilly store. Not honoring the price match, $20, will result in future revenue loss in the thousands of dollars-deceptive policy tactics or incompetent assistant manager? Went into recycle used engine oil. i double bagged my dirty oil container with heavy duty garbage bags because it had oil outside the pan/drainer. one employee opens up my double bagged garbage bag and simply says "No, you can't recycle it here. it's too dirty" i responded saying, but i wasn't going to recycle the pan/drainer here anyway? I'm just here to dump the oil, and i'll take all the garbage bags and the pan. and he replied saying. This store tends to have a larger variety of stock than the other Redmond store, probably because of the larger size. I was looking for a new brake caliper bracket and this location had it. Out of curiosity I looked at a few other parts (remanufactured caliper, some rotors, etc) and this location had a significantly better selection in stock for immediate pickup than either the other Redmond store, or the store in Issaquah. Definitely shop around though as I usually find O'Reilly's to be more expensive than other brick and mortar options in Bellevue like Auto Zone or Carquest, particularly given that the later two usually have online coupons. I haven't been able to find any coupons for O'Reilly. That said, they accept used motor oil, have good employees, old school carbon copy receipts, and a decent stock of parts. Do not count on the service they promise or advertise as available. I was informed by O'Reilly's that turning rotors is available and may take couple hours to do. The day I came in, the service wasn't available. I called in asking to speak to a manager, a general employee was claiming to be a manager. Thanks for the waste of time. I was told on the phone that resurfacing rotors would take a few hours. I dropped them off at 1pm so I could get them back on my car later the same day. Dropped back in on my way home at 4:45pm and was told they didn't know anything about the rotors and that they may not even be ready that day! The guy telling me this had no sense of urgency about getting them done. His comment was that they may not even be ready that day (or any day as far as I could tell) depending upon how busy they were in the store. They didn't look busy either time I was there, but those may have been slow times. I've spent a significant amount of money at my local O'Reilly in the past, but, suffice to say, I'll no longer be doing business with them. read more

I just want to say thanks to Lorenzo who helped me with a headlight bulb replacement glitch that happened few days ago. I had a low beam bulb out, but the female worker who helped me thought it was both (since I didn't get the chance to check the high beam). She replaced the high beam first and then realized that it didn't need to be replaced, ie. the bulb was working but she didn't get around to changing it back. The low beam bulb was tougher to replace and needed another guy's help, but he was smoking and trying to change the bulb and dropped the access cap into my car and couldn't change the bulb. So, I ended up leaving, calling my mechanic the next day and he told me the access cap had come out of my car while driving. I had to get a replacement cap, then the low beam bulb replaced, and my mechanic and the dealership told me to have this problem fixed at O'Reilly's. I came back today and explained the situation to the manager, Lorenzo, and once he understood what went wrong, he promptly took care of the return of the high beam bulb and the access cap expense. He was very professional and while I didn't want to get the employees in trouble since the girl who initially helped actually taught me about the fuse box that helped me to prevent my mechanic from overcharging me as well, I was glad this turned out with a good business outcome. I would recommend that the employees not be smoking when they help someone with their car and really be attentive to what they need to do because it can be a safety hazard. I didn't want to get pulled over because of the light, and I'm truly glad Lorenzo was there to help, see the light in the situation, and took care of business well. Thanks so much! read more

Shameful policy, this store refused to honor its own warranty without a receipt for a "top of line" battery lasted only 2 years even though the Super Start batteries cannot be bought elsewhere except at O'Reilly stores. Scanning of the battery shows date of purchase, so no reason to doubt its own customer. Will not be a customer again and will spread the words across social media. My last battery made by another company lasted over 7 years. Shame! read more

Had a very gracious sales clerk when I bought some headlights and needed help. Went to return same headlights because I found them cheaper elsewhere, and a different clerk gave me a huge attitude. He was rude, and when I misunderstood a question he asked me during the return process, and gave him the wrong answer, he got very angry and snotty, then didn't apologize when I told him I misheard him. Unparalled sluggishness... I will NEVER set foot in this store again. 20+ minutes to return a rental is absurd, especially when there are three employees in the store and only two people in line ahead of me. To make matters worse, the drug addict that cut in line to buy a tire pressure gauge to use as a pipe was served before me. They even loaned him pliers to snap the end off with. Once he was out of the way, I finally got my chance to return the rental which was inspected in detail then re-inspected regardless of the fact that when I received it the box hinge was broken, and the adapters were strewn about the box. Apparently they didn't inspect it previously, but it was very important to inspect it when I returned it. The person that inspected it the second time commented that "Oh it always comes back a little different." That is not the kind of quality control I appreciate when renting or returning something on which I have placed a deposit. It also seemed to be an issue that I was not a rewards member, which is strange considering I was a rewards member at the time I rented it.
