I had a very nice experience at tire discounters Alexandria. I feel I got a good deal on tires .read more

This was, without a doubt, the worst car service experience I've ever had. I initially went in for…read morea low tire pressure warning and suspected a nail in one of my tires. I was told the issue was with the front passenger tire, but that it couldn't be patched due to low tread. They also found there was a bubble in the front driver-side tire, possibly from pothole damage. I agreed to replace both front tires--I was charged $612 for two tires, when the exact same set of four is available at Costco for around $780. I agreed due to convenience because I had work and other obligations get to. Unfortunately, the experience only went downhill from there. Later that same day, my low tire pressure warning came back on. When I returned, they told me the rear tires were slightly underfilled (33 PSI instead of 36), adjusted them, and sent me on my way. Within hours, the warning came back again. I then had to leave my car overnight. The next morning, they informed me there was actually a nail in one of the rear tires and said they patched it--something that directly contradicted their original diagnosis. At no point did they show me the tire or the nail, so I have no confidence that the issue was ever properly identified. To top it off, after picking up my car yet again, I noticed they hadn't even replaced the valve caps, forcing me to return for a FIFTH time. This entire experience was frustrating, inconsistent, and incredibly inconvenient. I would not trust this shop and will not be returning. Save your time and money and go elsewhere.
