I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised! I was greeted, treated very nice (not like I was an inconvenience, like the other places I'd been). The place to drive my car in was easy to locate with signs and plenty of room to maneuver. Everything was clean and everyone seemed well organized. I was provided all the information I asked for, verbally and in writing, AND they even washed my car for me, before giving it back! All things that were not provided at other Subaru's around the Denver area. This is the kind of treatment I am used to and have come to expect from Subaru; glad I finally found one in the area that provides it. (I was previously in Northern Virginia where all of this is pretty standard). The story: I had an appointment, which I scheduled online, arrived and drove myself in and checked in with Joshua. He was very nice, actually read my online notes on what I wanted, told me it'd be an hour to an hour and a half (I had requested oil change, all fluids checked, and all systems inspection because my service contract was coming to an end soon and I wanted to ensure that no work was needed). We left and went for a walk around the neighborhood, came back about an hour later and sat in the waiting area. The waiting area is nice because it provides snacks and drinks (although I do wish something more interesting was on the TV's). Without having said anything that we were in there, Joshua came in and found me to give me an update on things. He must have seen us come back, which is nice that he was paying attention to that while busy with other customers too. My car did need an alignment which unfortunately took an additional hour (not sure why an alignment takes that long). Afterwards, Joshua came back and brought me out to explain everything. He even gave me an entire analysis write up they did on my car, which I never received from the other places either. Then pointed me to my car, which was brought inside, so I didn't have to wonder around outside looking for it; and it was even washed up for me. Finally, a Subaru that takes care of their customers! I will mention that the only reason I didn't give this a 5 star is because it took over 2 hours to do this work, which in my experience is excessive for someone who made an appointment and didn't just drop it off in the morning to have done anytime during the day. Normally this would be a lot more irritating as a I value my time, but this inconvenience was easy to overlook, given how well I was treated.

I REALLY want to this to be our go to shop for all vehicles but it did not work out. We initially…read morehad a positive experience with Bullet Automotive. The staff were friendly, and we appreciated that their inspection and estimate process was clearly explained. We began using the shop in April 2026, for our Subaru and Dodge for preventative maintenance. Bullet provided estimates for recommended work, and we approved the items we considered necessary while declining others. At the time, we mentioned that the Dodge was making a whooshing noise when the air conditioning was running. We were told that neither vehicle had any major issues. A month later, the Subaru failed an emissions test. The failure was not related to any of the declined items listed in Bullet's estimate. We were advised that the spark plugs were the likely cause, so we authorized that work at a cost of approximately $770. The vehicle AGAIN failed emissions. Bullet performed a complimentary diagnostic but was unable to identify the cause. We were advised to drive the vehicle more before having it retested, which we did, but it still failed. We ultimately replaced a sensor based on information we found independently (which was NOT in any quote they provided), after which the Subaru passed emissions by a significant margin. Around the same time, the Dodge's whooshing noise intensified. Bullet invited us to bring it back for a complimentary diagnostic because it had been recently been inspected. We were told the coolant level was very low and paid approximately $500 for a recharge. We had already added coolant ourselves, but this information did not appear to change their diagnosis of the vehicle. In August 2026, the Dodge AC began blowing hot air. We called Bullet and were told to bring it in, with the understanding that the diagnostic fee would be waived because it was the same issue that we had already been in for on two occasions in the last three months. When the vehicle was dropped off, a technician told us the fee would NOT be waived because it had already been waived once. So we paid for multiple AC recharges and another inspection. We were not happy. We were then told that a component had cracked, and we paid to have it repaired. The following day, we were informed that the hose was also defective and that the labor cost would be substantial. We paid to have the hose replaced as well. The staff were courteous, and we initially hoped Bullet would become our regular repair shop. However, based on our experience, several diagnoses and repairs that did not resolve the underlying problems for not one but two of our vehicles, and we incurred additional costs and repeat visits. It is possible that our vehicles presented unusually difficult issues, but we have ultimately decided to use a different shop for future repairs. Coming here always felt like we were paying for their trial and error approach to fixing things.

Something about the interaction did not sit right with me, so I pulled over shortly after leaving. I discovered a bolt that was nearly falling off -- an issue that simply required tightening. Despite this, I was quoted approximately $700 for upper control arm bushing replacement, which appeared to be completely unnecessary based on what I found. That experience seriously raised concerns about the accuracy of their inspection process and the recommendations being made. Bradley and the individual managing the service desk did not inspire confidence, and unfortunately, I left feeling that the diagnosis and suggested repairs were not trustworthy. I would strongly encourage others to seek a second opinion before approving expensive repair work here.

It was really helpful for me because they give me a heads up about replacements to be aware of in the next year and the costs before I have to scramble to pay for an urgent repair. Also, when they replaced 2 of my brakes, I still heard squealing so I brought the car back and it was actually the other ones they didn't replace but they helped me lube those up to be nice and quiet, no charge!

My parents had been customers of Steve's Alignment for over 30 years. Steve's delivered quality and professional repairs on many cars for my parents and our family over the years. I would wager our family has spent tens of thousands of dollars over the decades at Steve's. As of today, we are all done and want to warn others. My nephew was overcharged and had mystery charges that Jeff, the new "general manager" refused to clarify. Jeff is rude, unprofessional in demeanor and presentation, and not at all general manager material. He is the stereotypical dishonest mechanic. I suspect he's strong arming Charles in a bid to either tank or take over the business. A small mechanic shop does not need a "general manager." All it takes is one bad apple to ruin a business, and that bad apple is, without a doubt, Jeff. Buyer beware. Jeff does not give a toss about this staple Longmont business, nor its customers. This general manager only cares about lining his pocket by hook or crook. There are some veteran owned mechanic shops in town. I will be encouraging my parents and our family to seek those businesses out. I wish Charles the best, but until he gets rid of Jeff Steve's is cooked.
