As we all know, AC repair repairs can be incredibly expensive. But their technician found that it was a simple electrical relay that was faulty. After evacuating and recharging the system, the AC is as cold as ice! I typically work on all my own cars but Scally diagnosing and repairing air-conditioning systems are beyond my skill set. Over the years, I'd come to know the guys at the counter well and they had built up some trust with me. For this recent service, I had obtained a quote from a local dealership of $460. I typically would go to Bunge's to avoid paying "dealer" prices. When I told the man at the counter the dealership price, he said that he'd match that price. In the end, the total cost of the service came in at $451 (just below the dealership cost). I'm thrilled that they matched the dealer price and I was able to support a local independent business. They even gave me a ride home after I dropped off my car.

When I questioned the price difference, I was told they would "pull the call" to prove I agreed to it -- but I know I never did. On top of that, the free tire rotation discount plus discount oil change for $49.99 that was supposed to be included with my oil change never showed up anywhere on the invoice. Nothing about the pricing or discounts added up. The whole experience felt shady and misleading, and it's made me lose trust in this location.
