Came here for a quick drink while waiting for our check in at The Duke Mansion. Sat at the bar and enjoyed an adult lunchable (lol!) aka charcuterie and cocktails. Delicious. Bar tenders were awesome and we enjoyed giggling with them!

This bistro in Charlotte, NC offers Napa Valley inspired cuisine with fresh flavorful dishes. I started with the Tuna Crudo $20 and the Pan Roasted Salmon $30. It was all delicious but very expensive for lunch. We went in for the Pick your pair two for $20 menu but they were out of the French Onion Soup. So we ordered differently. Our server was very nice. They have indoor and outdoor seating.

A simply beautiful aesthetic throughout the restaurant. The food was delicious starting with the Cinnamon Monkey Bread and the array of toppings. Next, I enjoyed the French Toast with strawberries and whip cream and a side of bacon. Our waitress was great. Napa at Providence is a wonderful gem nestled in Myers Park near Queens College.

2 oz martinis with a $1 charge for (martini prep)???

Hey Napa on Providence, we tried you again only to be surprised at your ridiculous martini. 2 oz martini and a $1 charge for martini prep? Typical martinis are 3.5 oz. What is a "martini prep"??? Not going back!!!

We came for our wedding anniversary and the service was fantastic (as was the food!) The hostess acknowledged our anniversary, our waitress did, and I'm assuming the manager did too, who brought us a card! Started with the burrata and champagne. Then crab and corn soup. Wonderful white wine recommendation. Ordered the artichoke risotto and added shrimp - so good! Hubs got a seafood pasta on special - also so good! We were too full for dessert but also finished off with a non-traditional margarita and an Old Faithful (like Old Fashioned). It was a nice, leisurely dinner, beautiful decor, strong service. Will return.

Came here for restaurant week and had nice experience with friends. We made a reservation a few days in advance for a party of 3.. and judging by the full parking lot and restaurant.. I'm glad we did (tip: you can park in the Wells Fargo lot across the street once the bank closes for the day). I enjoyed that the queens feast menu offered a non alcoholic drink although when I ordered it, I was informed they were low on an ingredient, so I ended up ordering something different, the butternut squash soup that I started with was perfectly thick and had a good combination of sweet and savory. The short rib was nice and tender and was definitely the highlight for me. My friends who ordered the salmon were a little surprised by the presence of the espuma (although listed on the menu we kind of overlooked it/ didn't know exactly what it was) but despite this they said it tasted very good! We ended with the apple tart dessert which was quite large. I wasn't a fan of the caramel and I could taste much thyme.. also it wasn't really served warm which was odd. All in all a good experience with excellent service! The regular menu had a lot of variety and I would definitely come back to try some more dishes.

Napa is a great option for Queen's Feast (Charlotte's Restaurant Week)! The menu is at the $40 price point and offers quality dishes like short rib and even filet mignon for a $10 supplement charge. All of the restaurant and menu options during QF can be overwhelming, so I'm happy to have found a solid spot everyone will enjoy! We started with cocktails, which were fine, not mind-blowing. I ordered the Fleur de Vie, which contained rosé, tequila, and elderflower. It was served just in a regular tall glass with ice and a plastic straw. For $16, I would have expected some type of garnish and nicer presentation. Would skip this one. Our friend ordered a martini, and it didn't come with olives (the server brought some when asked). The So Long Summer Spritz was refreshing and did come garnished with lemon & lime. And our other friend said the spicy passionfruit margarita was enjoyable. I'm thinking next time I'll stick with wine. For appetizers, we got the Napa Salad and cast-iron meatballs. Salad was pretty standard and tasted good. The meatballs were stuffed with mozzarella and served with plenty of marinara. Yum! Enter the entrees: braised short rib and pan-roasted salmon. Both dishes were beautifully presented. I especially loved the look of the meyer lemon foam atop the salmon. Served over a winter bean cassoulet, the salmon dish had a seasonal flavor profile and feel. Short rib was also tasty as was the polenta it came with. Dessert time! We got both options: the apple tarte tartin and salted caramel cappuccino cheesecake. Both were great and different. I liked the pastry and warm apples in the tartin. The cheesecake was so rich with deep flavors. A perfect end to our meal! Service was friendly and good overall although I felt the meal pacing to be a bit rushed. Since we had to order all 3 course at once, the entrees arrived before we were done with our appetizers. I'm sure QF is a hectic time for the restaurant - it wasn't a major issue - we just had to do some last-minute plate shuffling to make it work. Looking forward to returning to try dishes off the full menu!

Napa is a charming Myers Park restaurant that feels like you are in a villa in wine country. They have an elegant indoor and outdoor dining area, and the vibe is upscale but not overly stuffy. The service is always top notch as well. I most recently came in for Easter brunch where they had a fixed three course menu including an appetizer, main, and desert. For the appetizer I had some delicious meatballs smothered with a tasty sauce and plenty of cheese. The second course was steak and eggs along with some home fries. The steak was a little undercooked for how I asked it, but I can let that go they were very busy with the Easter rush. Finally I had a chocolate cake for desert. I don't have as much of a sweet tooth as I used to, and while it was delicious, it was a little rich for my blood so I gave the rest to my girlfriend. Can't forget the fantastic mimosa bar that accompanied brunch, which included cranberry, pineapple, and orange juice so we could make our mimosas just how we like. Overall this is a great place to do brunch, have a nice dinner out, or even just stop in on a nice day to enjoy a glass of wine or a cocktail on the patio.

Side of bacon -pricey at $8, but it was good.

Napa on Providence is top tier from the moment you enter. Friendly hostess and servers, beautiful decor, and plenty of seating. My group dined in on a Sunday, it didn't seem overly busy. My one complaint, just to get it out of the way so we're can get to the good stuff: the wait time for meals was quite long. We'd had a couple of starters and bread service, then he took our meal orders. It took about 35 minutes from the arrival of our bread to the arrival of our meals. I felt that was a bit long. The server was apologetic, and the food being good was a good thing. I got the French toast, adding a side of breakfast potatoes and bacon. I loved that the bread wasn't soggy! The sweetness was perfectly balanced and the chantilly cream was airy and beautifully done. I also liked the bacon, it was perfectly crispy and meaty, and the potatoes were well seasoned. I also got the Mint Museum mocktail and it was very good, refreshing, high not as minty I expected it to be. My husband got the steak and eggs, as did one of our guests. They both talked about how well the steak was cooked and seasoned. I'm try that next time. Or, will I try the chicken and waffles?! I don't handed a picture of it, but I was able to taste the gruyere chive waffle and yum! I will definitely return for lunch and dinner.

Lastnights wine and 4 course dinner pairing was amazing. There things that I had not tried before. The star was this deconstructed lemon meringue custard dessert. The wines were all out of California and paired quite well with all of the dishes and did not compete. This place should be on everyone's special short list of places to dine here in Charlotte. It is cozy intimate and lovely.

Couple nights in Charlotte wit my bf and I ran across this restaurant on a random Open Table search. Chose it for the name (I'm from a town near Napa Valley). Peeped the menu and saw a great small bites menu. The universe did not lead me astray!! Ordered almost everything from the small bites section and dabbled in a bit of goodness with each plate. I forgot the seasonal dessert but it was so delicious I went right in without taking a photo. Great for groups or date night. Server was amazing. Hustle n bustle of the restaurant didn't make for a quiet night but still able to converse. Highly recommend!!

Yum yum and did u say yum? Sit at the bar if you can! And enjoy the delicious food! Service started rocky. Showed up on time for the reservation and even though I had called the day before our specifically requesting inside seating, was told that there would be a 30 to 40 minute wait to be able to get inside seating. Not ideal, but the food made up for the inconvenience to start with.

Filet mignon, green beans, fingerling potatoes dinner entree.

We tried Napa on Providence for the first time and for the first night of Queens Feast. We went with the choices on the set menu. Great casual atmosphere, very warm & welcoming. Our server did an excellent job and took care of us. We will come again for their normal menu.

I know I made it look very pretty in my photos, but don't be fooled. Here is the complete review. We found the green tomatoes bland and appeared to have been frozen before being prepared. The "Gravy Train" with the mini biscuit was inedible. The gravy itself was OK. Nothing special, not one of the three were "great." But the mini biscuits were terrible, hard, dense chunks of dough. I ate one of them and discarded the rest. The "Chicken Ditch the Waffle" was equally terrible. Whatever they did to turn the biscuit into "fake" French toast is a 100% fail. They were as dense and unappealing as the mini biscuits. The chicken itself was fine. If I was only rating the chicken I'd probably give it a 3.5. The best dish was actually the "GOAT." It was served with a Standard biscuit which we thought was still too dense and dry. I recommend finding an independent restaurant that serves real, "from scratch" food. I should point out that the service crew in the dining room who delivered the food as well as provided cleanup and assistance, were exceptional. They were friendly, courteous, and focused on customer service. I'm sure they deserve more than they are being paid. It was obvious many of them were spanish-speaking immigrants. Not everyone in the restaurant treated them with the respect and gratitude they deserve. Here's the detail of our order from their menu.
