So, naturally I assumed it was them and expected full sized churros comparable to the ones sold at the flea market. So, to my surprise, I showed up trying to order a few churros only to be informed they ONLY sold mini churros and sold them funnel cake style. They were fresh and the fix ins were great but I wish they had a broader menu offering. At the very least a menu of the toppings they have. They apparently sell hot chocolate too! This place would benefit from more marketing, maybe a social media footprint or online presence. But I really appreciated they accepted cards (Square). Only shortfall I can elude to is that they sell until they run out, so it's a hit or miss. If you drive past, it's a mini plastic tent, you can't miss it. Parking could be tricky so exercise caution.

I was with my husband along with my two littles and when we get ampersand together we normally get the flight sampler which comes in a square container with 4 scoops. It's perfect portion to share and try a few of their monthly flavors. They offer samples. My daughter wanted rocky road and as for the rest of the flavors we chose chocolate PB, brownies and caramel and raspberry beret. Each ice cream was perfectly scooped and so creamy. My favorite of all the flavors was raspberry beret, consisting of raspberry jam, vanilla ice cream and blondies. They have indoor and outdoor seating and the ice cream shop is clean. Just before we got to the register there were a few brownies that again I couldn't say no to and I'm glad I didn't walk away without because they were absolutely delicious! My son got a vanilla milkshake with whip cream on top and he finished it pretty quickly. The shop is small but it was packed at the time we went. The servers were quick and also attentiive to all their customers and I'm very chatty so I started talking to the customers in front of me who told me that they were sent over from their parents who told them they would pay for their ice cream if they made the trip for them lol. So the single scoops are huge they also ended up packing out orders in to-go containers (comes with lids). Omg the ice cream here is so creamy and rich. My husband doesn't have a sweet tooth but he as blown away with the double Belgian chocolate chip and says how it's his "new favorite" lol. The brownie al a mode was amazing!!! There were soft brownie bits inside, it was perfect!!! So tiramisu is one of my favorite flavors, along with cookies and crème! We tried their tiramisu gelato and were honestly quite disappointed! Each month, I pay a visit to try out some of their new flavors and I have never been disappointed by their flavors. They take into account of your allergies and are willing to make pint orders to go if you have sweet tooth. The pineapple chunks are really good but almost too many chunks of pineapple (basically like eating frozen chunks of pineapple). The bars were pretty fairly priced at around $2-3 per bar, so getting 4 water-based ones cost $8-9. My biggest issue with this place is that customer service is spotty. When I came in the first time I was not greeted (though others who spoke Spanish behind me were). And most annoyingly is the paleta bar is near the back and so most people are getting sundaes and ice cream near the front so staff will actually serve people who come behind you if you don't assert yourself and say you got there first. So I dusted off one of the whips, grabbed my lady with the promise of boba, and headed out. Unfortunately, when we arrived there were no cars in sight. Instagram said the meet started at 6:30, and it was already after 7. Oh well. We decided to head inside, and I'm glad we did. The shop was cute, the decor was welcoming, and the menu had plenty of options to choose from. I ordered the taiyaki with vanilla and ube soft serve, while my lady went with the lavender rose milk tea. The tea was a little too floral for my taste, but the soft serve was pretty damn good. The taiyaki was solid too, with a nice slight crunch that I really enjoyed. Overall, I'd definitely come back on a hot day for a sweet treat. They also stay open a little later on Thursdays because of the car meets, so maybe I'll have better luck catching one next time.
