We love this place. Love the olives, the cocktails and the pizza is reliably good. Wait staff is always pleasant as well.

I've been to Napolese a couple times, it's just nothing special about the food to me. The pizzas are okay, I've tried multiple different ones, this time we just got a basic half pepperoni and cheese. I do like their goat cheese and bread appetizers and the salads are pretty good as well. The customer service is always outstanding so I can't complain there. The Keystone and Meridian locations are small inside so sometimes it can get a little crowded but if it's a nice day they do have outside seating, and it's always clean as well. read more

YUM! The gluten free focaccia and baked goat cheese is a highlight. I had it years ago and remembered that I loved it and just tried it again. It's still delicious! The atmosphere is cozy and festive. I love that they bring complimentary olives as a starter. It's unique and feels fancy but simple. The servers are great and I always love the restaurants in the Won't Stop Hospitality brand. The chop salad here is my boss's absolute favorite salad. I tried it and enjoyed it but would only have it as an accompaniment to pizza or an appetizer in the future. read more

We came here for dinner because the cheesecake factory was closed due to no water. My daughters 18th birthday shopping trip! We were seated at a small table inside. Our waitress brought a bottle of water and we ordered our drinks. We both noticed our water glasses were spotty and smudgy. The Italian margarita was just ok. Didn't taste like the Italian margaritas I've had before. But when I asked for a dry red wine, boy did our waitress recommend a wonderful red! It was Smokey and delicious. I can't remember the name because I had the 9oz pour. We also had bruschetta, goat cheese dip, beet salad, and margarita pizza. My daughter said it was just cheese pizza and was a bit disappointed, but LOVED the goat cheese dip. Bruschetta was a bit different. Toast with tomatoes on the side, but surprisingly fresh and tasty! I am VERY concerned. We went here today and they had no air conditioning. It's 90 degrees and so humid. I was with my mother who is going through cancer treatments. What's even more concerning is last August when I was here they didn't have AC either. Do they not care about their guests or their staff? The poor pizza guys had to be dying. Napolese keeps calling me and I have to have to go back! The salads and their pizzas or pie as they call it never disappoint both in size and taste. The wood charred flavor to the pizza base is so delicious and addictive. My salad had such a generous portion of feta and the slivers of smoked salmon added such a smoky flavor. I loved every bite and enjoyed the fresh arugula combo. We sat outdoors and it was a perfect evening, just summer outdoor friendly. Really enjoyed this place!...until today. Feb 15, 2026 - got there around 1:30pm. Having acquired many years of experience in food and bev, I know what a great experience looks like vs. coming up short of normal expectations and general tactfulness. The lady with reddish/dark pink hair who hosted (apologies - didn't catch her name, wish I had as she was nice), sat us and got us water and eventually introduced us to Timothy, our server, who was good overall. Food was tasty per usual. We ordered the goat cheese dip that came out timely. Then our pizzas (2 margheritas and a calabrese) a little while after which we're also good. It was loud in there today, so I give some grace to Timothy for maybe not hearing that we requested more water. He also seemed to forget to grab some extra parmesan because he did some other things not as pressing before bringing it. That's fine and not even worth a review, but what is - is what happened at the very end of our experience. The bathroom situation is always an issue. There is only one and it's a unisex bathroom. As I mentioned, it was loud in the restaurant and I knocked on the door and didn't hear anything so then I tried to open it. And the guy that came out gave me a look as if I had messed up his whole year - very rude/look of disgust. The very nice hostess, and my group also saw this happen and were pretty taken aback like I was. I hope he has better days, but I don't allow others to bother my well being. As a professional standpoint, completely uncalled for and unprofessional. Apparently this was the kitchen manager - even bigger red flag of a hire. Any manager should embody professional qualities and he did not exude any in that moment. We also are not certain if he did or did not wash his hands because we did not hear the dryer go off and we heard it when the rest of my party went. I was asked if I'd like to speak with the manager. I said no, I don't need to take up his time with this. And my review is really only inspired because of this inappropriate interaction with a kitchen staff. I always believe.. there are many great spots with great food to offer all over Indy, but I will become a loyal guest to that business if I receive 12/10 customer service from the staff. I understand BoH and FoH are different and portray different personalities, and nothing against FoH here, but I probably will not return due to my experience today at the end and that he potentially didn't follow laws of cleanliness. read more

My wife and I dined there yesterday afternoon. Our server Cesar was awesome! Super friendly and very professional! 5 stars! Our pizza was cooked perfectly! Perfect crust, fresh mozzarella, and the marinara was perfectly fresh and well balanced. Loved it!! Next day, today, I had to go back for another awesome experience. Cesar again was very charming once again and definitely makes you feel like you're personally eating in his home! 5 more stars! My new pizza home My other server and new food tour guru Chris was also terrific!! Chris shared his favorite pizza that adds goat cheese and chili oil to their already amazing fresh mozzarella and marinara pizza. Wasn't sure about adding the chili oil but I tried it and it had the perfect gentle hint of spice that I didn't know I was missing. I'm honestly ashamed to admit that I just recently had my first experience at Napolese. Oh, my goodness. This is top of my list for a repeat...so good! We had an end of year Board meeting and did a family style dinner. We started off with the goat cheese and focaccia dip...literally heaven. It was incredible (I've already tried to recreate at home, not as good as the real thing!). We got a couple of salads, the Brussels and the chop, both were really good. Then we got 3 different pizzas. They were all incredible and I ate until I thought I was going to burst. Our server was outstanding and the restaurant has such a warm vibe. Napolese makes one of my favorite salads! The Veggie Chop 1/2 size is the perfect meal, and never disappoints. If you love beets, and butternut squash, this salad is SO good. I usually swap out the bleu cheese for Parmesan because I'm not a bleu cheese fan. Most of the time we order salads and split the margarita pizza. What would really take it to the next level is if they also added another element to the dish, like tomatoes or tomato jam or something like that. Because like I said, the burrata toast is good, but it has the potential to be great. That's just two cents coming from a burrata lover. What is great at Napolese is the service. I wanted for nothing during my visit, and my server was very attentive and quick. Because I was eating burrata, I wanted an Italian wine to go with it. My server recommended a wine that I ended up loving (the Poggio al Tufo Rompicollo Sangiovese). They offer wine by the glass (6 ounces), by the quartino (9 ounces) and by the bottle. I got a quartino, and I savored every last drop. Yum, wine! A nice touch is that they serve you a dish of complimentary olives when you sit down. This was our first time eating at Napolese, although it has been around for several years. We dined at the one at 49th & Penn, a great Meridian Butler neighborhood location. The atmosphere is warm, moody and romantic. My wife and I shared the vegetarian chop salad and The Major pizza. The salad was amazingly different in both presentation and ingredients. It is served in a boat shaped bowl and was more than enough for us to share. We'd definitely prefer it again and would highly recommend it. The oil base dressing was light and did not compete with the salad itself, but was rather a nice complement. The pizza instantly became a favorite. The crust wasn't bready. It was thin and soft without being doughy. I am particular about my pizza crust finding very few I truly enjoy. I told my wife that this pizza moved to the top of the list right next to Bazbeaux, another local favorite. Our mattress was a sweetheart. Helped us in making a decision that was right for us. She was attentive without being bothersome. My final remark is that we discovered a new dining option to add to our list of favorites. A great cozy neighborhood eatery with fantastic well presented food. With a great team working there. This place was pretty good! I really like pizzas without too much meat on them, so I came here alone for lunch without my family who are "meat lovers ". I sat at the bar in the middle of the day. They were decent amount of people there, and my service is great. The bartender was serving the entire restaurant and he did an amazing job with everybody. I didn't catch his name though. I ordered a cocktail and the broken yolk pizza. I was hoping to have big slices of tomato on it like margherita style pizzas sometimes have but it didn't have them. I still loved it anyway. I can't believe I've never gone to Napolese before, but am glad I decided to stop in. I've now learned from other Yelpers about their fresh ingredients, and you definitely can taste them in the entrees. What a cute place to have a great lunch and great conversation! Our service was awesome, and our server made sure that she checked on us throughout our meal, which was pleasant. I really enjoyed the ambiance. It has a very nice and cozy feel, with the option to sit out on a patio as well. We started with several appetizers, as I was the only newbie. The goat cheese appetizer with the fresh focaccia was amazing! We got a chopped salad as well, but I feel that it was a bit heavy on the salt (could have been the ham that was overly salted). Great food, friendly service and good value! It was my first time at Napolese and reading other good reviews I was excited to try their artisan pizza. It was a Saturday night but luckily I was able to be seated right away. They gave us olives with drinks. I loved it. I tried a bowl of Tuscany soup with was great and almost filled my stomach before I got the pizza. I tried Meridian Kessler pizza- it was much bigger than I expected and was very satisfying. Hot and fresh pizza right to your table :) We ended our dinner with a cheesecake which was tasty with a lot of pistachios sprinkled on top. Great dinner. Will go back! We were seated quick early on a Friday evening on the patio and inspite of it raining off and on, it was a pleasant place to sit. Inside the restaurants, the temps were oddly quite cold. We ordered our drinks and appetizer of meatballs. The drinks came out in a reasonable time and were well done cocktails. Our meatball had a really good sauce but the meatball itself was under salted. Our server took our pizza order and the wait for the pizza was quite a long one. We had Hamakers Corner, Meridian Kessler and a simple pepperoni topping ome. I know this place has always had good reviews since it opened and pizza is one of my favorites but I was super late to trying this place out. I went for the first time the week before COVID restrictions were put in place and was not impressed I don't even remember what I ordered. I had a redo with a friend who was back in the area visiting and I absolutely loved the salad and pizza that we had and now I am a fan. We had the beet salad I know that doesn't sound good but it tastes nice refreshing and looks beautiful. If you like Gorgonzola then you should also try the Elliot's Pie. We decided that Napolese would be a good place to grab a bite since they have a small walled-off section inside of the mall with about three tables. It's very near the entrance to the mall and with the constant open and closing of the doors from people coming and going it felt much safer with a high volume of air being exchanged. Good ol' Covid! We opted for the Baked goat cheese to start, it came out piping hot and with fresh warm seasoned focaccia. It was very tasty and had tons of cheese and sauce so much so that we asked for more focaccia, which was brought out no problem. In addition to the goat cheese, they bring a small bowl of marinated olives which is delicious and a nice touch to start! We asked for more of those too! For my pizza, I kept it simple and ordered the Margherita, can't go wrong with a classic! It was a simple pie, very tasty, and not greasy at all! Definitely "Artisanal" as listed on the menu. At $12 it is the perfect size and price, you will have plenty for one person. The crust is wood-fired and slightly chewy, pretty tasty! Love the style and vibe of this place. It has a large outdoor seating area which is almost the same size as the interior. I had not been in years due to a bad experience with their jowl bacon...this time was much better. In terms of price, some of their items are fair but I feel other items are really expensive for what you get. The focaccia bread was 6 dollars and it consisted of a small bowl of 4 half breadstick sized pieces and a small dish of plain olive oil. Same goes for the two toasts. The Burrata and tomato toasts were each only one piece of toast. 14 and 11 dollars! The pizzas, salmon, drinks, and desserts were decent portions and were average priced. This is one of my absolute favorite places. To start off, I don't even like olives typically but the ones they set out at the beginning of the meal are delicious. Their Italian wine selection is amazing and I have never had a wine there that I did not enjoy. I love this location in the mall specifically because of the patio in the summer. My favorite menu item is the burrata pizza. The dough on their wood fired pizzas are perfectly crunchy and chewy on the inside, the tomato sauce they use and olive oil is very high quality, and the burrata is perfectly creamy and complimented perfectly w the olive oil and salt. One word to describe my take-out at Napolese-Keystone Crossing: Disappointed! Ordered the CACIO E PEPE Braised pork, asparagus, goat cheese, black pepper cream sauce. This artisanal pie was not only missing flavor, it was missing ingredients. The braised pork was scarce, the pie was dry, sauce was limited and the asparagus was non-existent.
