You know Indy is a big city with plenty of ugly industrial areas and it just so happens, Pasquale's is the sole business in what seems to be an abandoned strip mall. I'm so grateful for this shop because once you step inside it's very much the romantic notion of a classic mom and pop shop that serves food far superior to all the surrounding area completion. Here on the east side we have all the big chain pizza places and a few others but once you have Pasquale's there's no reason to go anywhere else for pizza. I think maybe it's the daily in store made dough which is delicious and fresh and so fragrant and maybe the superior excellent ingredients. The last time I was ordering I asked the owner if their mushrooms were fresh or canned and he showed me a fresh mushroom! I appreciate someone who cares enough about their craft they don't mind discussing the details. Seriously best pizza I have had anywhere in Indy. Also, I really love the fact that all of the employees are gentlemen who are friendly, positive, patient and kind. They let you know how long it will be for take away and it isn't fast but it's so worth it! Somehow they magically impart a small town neighborly vibe that makes it fun to drop in and enriches the whole experience. Delicious food, top shelf service, connection and good vibes. Wow! What an incredible experience. I called the store & placed a Togo order. I spoke to a gentleman who was pleasant and welcoming. I asked what desserts they had and he recommended the cinnamon dessert pie. He said "we'll throw it in for you, Merry Christmas!". So I decided to order the cookies as well! No such thing as too much dessert. When I arrived, I was greeted by smiling staff members. They made the cookies fresh so I was waiting just a few minutes for them to cool. The same gentleman who took my order who offered the free dessert gave me a fountain soda, also free, as I waited in the lobby. I am so thankful for this establishment who made me feel so special and went above and beyond to take care of me as a customer. I ordered a medium pepperoni pizza with extra cheese and breadsticks! Hidden Gem! Very low key atmosphere. No kidding, best calzone I've ever had. Huge! Perfect, homemade, golden brown crust. The Italian sausage on mine...fire! It was late, so the server was also the cook, lol. Very friendly and took great pride in his dish. Owner was there and talked about the history of Pasquale's franchise. Very cool. Yelp reaffirmed my suspicions about this spot. I drive past it and always wonder how it's pretty much the only business in what looks like those depressing TikTok videos of Midwest decline. An entire strip mall desolate and yet a pizza place emerges. It's there next to a former Skyline location so you have to wonder if Skyline can't make it, how good is this pizza? The answer: Pretty good. Definitely the wetter style of pizza that seems to exist in much of Indiana. Jockamo's wouldn't deliver to my niece's house 4.4 miles away. So, we tried Pasquale's for the first time. Food was great, especially obsessed with the Chicken Bacon Ranch pizza, and the Cinnamon-Bomb pizza. Delivery was fast, and order was accurate. read more

Decided to order dinner here based on the reviews and ended up completely and totally disappointed. The "garden salad" was a small box full of greens well past their prime, some mozzarella cheese, and a piece of tomato, a total bummer for 5 bucks. We had ordered pizza for the kids, 1/2 cheese & 1/2 pepperoni; when we picked up the pies the kids's pie had 3(!) slices of pepperoni. Our pie, which was supposed to be pepperoni and onions, looked like a cheese pie, wtf??? We took photos of the pies & went back. They told us the toppings were *underneath* the cheese (again, wtf???) and when we looked they were right, but that didn't save it from being a mediocre pie. It didn't taste like anything, and at almost $50 for 2 pies and that lousy salad, we probably won't be back. read more

The pizza is old school with a lot of toppings and weight to it. Located on the east side near 465 across from Blueberry Hill pancake house in the old Service Merchandise strip center. Was looking for something different in the pizza realm for carry out so I thought I'd give Pasquale'a a try. The E Washington location is tucked away but worth the trip. Plenty of parking to start. The staff especially the manager ( owner?) were very friendly. I got a 12 inch pizza with meatball, Italian sausage & extra cheese. As you can tell by the pic it looked great. I remember going to Pasquales as a kid, it was not this location and I'm talking well over 30 years ago but I always seemed to like it back then especially the Stromboli sandwiches. So when I moved back to Indiana and saw this one near my house I was happy. Well I got a pizza and some Stromboli sandwiches and it was nothing like I remember. Stopped here in our way through town- great location right off the highway! We had two toddlers and an infant and were immediately welcomed by the owner who opened the door for us. He helped us push tables together and made sure the tables were clean. The food came out quickly and was fantastic! Our kids loved the pizza sticks, we loved the BBQ chicken and chefs special. My husband and I made it a goal to try new restaurants every week, and one week we had pulled a pizza place from the dinner date box (we put restaurants we want to try into the box, then blindly pull one each week). Unfortunately, we both ended up with Covid, so dining out wasn't in anybody's best interests. We discovered this olace delivers to our house, so we tried it. I grew up on Pasquale's as a native of southeast Indy area. However, I moved away as a preteen and just moved back to the area about two years ago. A year ago, I rediscovered Pasquales. I had assumed they would be long gone as local restaurants just seem to have a hard time these days. Nope! They're still there and going strong. I was drawn in by the nostalgia and kept coming back by the quality, friendliness, and price. It was just as good as I remember. The East Washington location has a small dine in area. Gotten delivery and pick up here a few times and this is the only pizza place I've had where the pizza is delivered hot and fresh. Let's start by saying this Pasquales has been my second favorite pizza spot in Indy up to now. Apparently shrink fellation has struck Pasquales I purchased the full size Italian sausage sandwich totaling $11.42 for that price. You get an 8 inch sandwich. I'm not sure if this was a mistake or if this is the true size of the sandwich, but is quite disappointing for the price. My wife ordered a calzone and she was also disappointed of the size. I've ordered here many times and have never been disappointment up until now. The quality is still there. I did like it but for that price I expected a little more. The order was made online so I didn't have an opportunity to ask questions about the sandwich. I really hope this was just a one off. I'd rather pay a couple of bucks more and get at least a 12 inch sandwich. I really hope that half sandwich is not just a four inch sandwich. That's damn near a slider. read more

I hate giving them a bad review, but I was so disappointed. My daughter didn't even eat 1pc. I had to feed her something else after we got home from here. The bread sticks are pre frozen & cheese was the WORST I have ever had for dipping! I won't ever waist my $24 here again. The gas station (Phillips 66) that sells Hunt Bros. pizza for $10 is far better than this. The cheese was like rubber, I can't even explain how weird the cheese was. We have been a fan of Pasquale's since 1964 when they were located in Irvington and later across from Washington Square. Their current location is kind of tucked away on E. Washington near 465. My favorite is their Stromboli sandwich with mushrooms, onions and pickles. I've lived and worked from Chicago to L.A. and no one makes a stromboli sandwich as good as they do. It's one of my benefits of retiring back in Indy. And the owners are super friendly. Ask if they still have their stromboli punch cards for repeat visits. read more
