Purchased a used car from them that needed a new engine after 1 full day of having it. They never gave me a comparable rental car as I'm a family of 6 and they gave me a 5 seater. Spoke with the general manager who said it would be taken care of then went back on his word. When I cancelled the extended warranty they told me 4-6 weeks for it to be processed. That was 7-8 weeks ago. I had the car for 1 day and over 2 months later they still have it meaning my 60 day warranty is expired and they won't do anything about it. I can't say anything about others experiences but this was mine. Zero communication as well. someone last spoke to me in the beginning of November. I went to test drive 3 cars and met up with a sales person who kept saying he been in the business for 9yrs and went to look at altima's SR two were different with turbo fwd and other no turbo less horsepower and. I wanted to test drive both and the salesperson said no to me, only one. So I was already given the. 1 strike I picked the awd and I was going solo for the test drive because I knew the area well he join instead in the drive. When we pulled out he wanted where he wanted to go, and it was short and couldn't get a good ride. Then we pulled in, and then the next car I wanted to drive was a rogue. The salesman passed me off to a new salesman because he had to do something. The new guy was new and didn't know anything about the car. The rogue I was drive the hood kept flapping on the highway and when it came to park the reverse gear wouldn't shift so the rookie said he can do it but he couldn't untill we got a management outside and parked it. To new shifter, you have to press a button and move it all the way up. I was done with rogue and not fan. Then the rookie took me to kia Napoli, and we tested drive a new seltos but wasn't a fan of it. The seat was high, and the dashboard was low. First the advisor on the phone who i made the appointment with said I could stay and wait for the car to be completed. Just got off the phone with the kind hearted and overly well spoken service manager Jose at Napoli who had the courtesy of calling me regarding a dissatisfaction survey I sent in..................Just kidding! The joke that is this dealership continues. Fortunately for me the quality of service I received with my initial visit to Napoli transcends the gap between technician and administration, and was of equal caliber at the managerial level. Jose seemed less interested in my overall complaint and resolution of the issue at hand and more distraught by the online reviews I posted of the slop shod work they are calling "service". This "service manager" didn't even offer an apology for the damage done to my vehicle. Two of his more impressionable lines were "I wish you would've let me know about this before you wrote bad reviews online or filled out the Nissan survey" and "mistakes happen sir but unfortunately since you wrote such negative reviews online and clearly aren't going to be using us we aren't motivated to help you out". I tried helping Jose the sales manager in seeing what a catastrophic failure his department was if they couldn't handle the task of a tire rotation............. and how concerning this was from the consumer perspective which is why people should know. This was clearly beyond Jose's comprehension or skill set as a manager because the best he could muster was a "have a nice day sir". While I admit most would be impressed with the extent of Jose's logic, customer satisfaction, and dismissive demeanor. I have little faith he would've done anything for me, more of a going through the motions kinda exercise to keep his manager game or lack there of strong. I suppose professionalism is a tough thing to teach At Napoli Nissan..........let alone class, customer service, or changing a tire. Frankly I found it rather hilarious that a manager who is dumb enough to say "I would've helped you but....." would actually think I'd want his help with anything related to a vehicle I trust my life with. All in all I give Jose the service manager a round of applause for wasting three minutes of my life, unfortunately for him there are regional managers that deal with this kind of garbage and word of mouth and online reviews speak for themselves. Long story short I blame myself, I should've been more skeptical of such a small dealership with an even smaller service department, there's no room in their lot to even park a substantial number of vehicles undergoing maintenance so I can't expect them to be as well versed in the basics of automotive care as some of the other larger CT based dealerships. Since there isn't an option for ZERO stars I'm stuck with one. Here's what happened to me. Also- as of last night I was told I can come get the money but Patrick the sales guy was supposed to call me this morning to make sure I can and now he hasn't called and will not answer any calls or texts. Napoli motors, specifically Patrick and Brendan are nothing but crooks, liars and thieves. I placed two holds on cars August 28th because the sales guy, Patrick told me I had to. I had been working with Patrick for weeks. I had sent him my application and other information they asked for. We discussed the payment I was comfortable with, term and interest rates. Patrick said everything was good to go and I just needs to come there and sign. He gave me a handwritten piece of paper with my "approvals" on them and told me that Brendan the finance guy was wrapping up with a customer and would be with me shortly. HOURS passed and I needed to get my kids from school and still no contract or finance guy or anything. Finally, as I was leaving Brendan came out and gave offers to my friend who was there. The offers were NOT AT ALL what Patrick had said I was approved for. When I told Brendan what offers Patrick had given me he told me he has no idea what I was talking about and he NEVER told Patrick anything. So basically, what NAPOLI tried to do is the same scum bag thing that gives car salesmen a bad wrap. He BLATANTLY lied to me thinking that since I already had a hold on the car I would just sign. They are holding THOUSANDS of dollars and refuse to give it back even though Brendan and Patrick both agreed that I SIGNED NOTHING with Napoli or ANY FINANCE company they work with. This dealership is completely unreliable. I purchased hey vehicle at least two other vehicles from Napoli Nissan and when it came time to turn in the lease they were completely unwavering. I ended up going to another dealership called out my lease and save $3000 on a new Nissan. Are use them to service my vehicle because of convenience and they used to be terrific however in the last six months every single time I've brought my vehicle in they have failed to deliver on the timing for the service expectations I have grown a custom to. On this particular day I had a deadline and I was promised a car prior to 10 AM the car was ready at 10 AM which place to be in a position of missing my deadline for another appointment. A couple weeks after my accident where a girl hit me totaling my car I was on the Internet looking for cars. I know my way around cars an had a couple in mind. After weighing everything up I decided what kind of car I wanted. Napoli Motors had one on their lot I wanted to look at. Decent price. Car looked great in pictures. So I'm on my way. Making the hour drive was not fun. When I arrived at Napoli I saw the car. Did a quick inspection on it. No one came out to help me. It was nice not being pressured in the lot but also annoying a sales person didn't come out to see if I needed help. The car I looked at was used. It had some paint peel on the front bumper and rear. They tried to deny a repaint job on the bumper but it was evident once pointed out. No one disclosed any accidents until I requested the car-fax. It had been in a accident and the car-fax was not too favorable. I was ready to walk. Then the manager came over and sweet talked me. Told me the car had been through a rigorous inspection. New this and new that. yada yada yada. He was willing to let me take the car to my own mechanic to get it looked at. So my mistake, I trusted him. I give 2 star only because they worked and worked with me to get me that car. My credit isn't wonderful and I had trouble obtaining a loan. But they worked with me. The finance guy was fantastic and really helped me. Also educated me a bit on credit and financial as well. I appreciated that. In the end I got the car. However, now that I have the car things have been happening that I refuse to believe they did not know about. For one, the air conditioning does not work. My mistake for not testing but shame on this family run dealership for not disclosing it. Another thing is under the passenger side dash. It leaks water when it rains like crazy. During a hard storm water leaked in and it has shorted my third brake light. It had a mildew smell to it when i bought it now I know why. So I've since fixed this problem the a/c remains broken. The car also has some suspension issues. It rides very rough. Whoever had this car before me didn't take care of it. So now I have to do more work on it. But I love this car. I've always wanted a car like this, just without the problems. There was also some confusion regarding registration. My registration was due in May. I bought the car a month before. I failed to inform me they were not renewing the registration for me. Just paying for the short time I had the car. So then my registration became expired. Again, my fault for having too much trust in a car dealership. My experience at Napoli Motors wasn't a terrible one. But I think honesty should be a priority for them especially how they are marketing themselves. read more

Well as we were going thru finanaciing and such. we were being dicked left and right. We were told we have bad credit rating when we didnt' We have proof of our credit score earlier that day. After reading reviews about Napoli on both Yelp and Google, I have to admit I was a little skeptical to go down there to look at a vehicle I saw online. The ride to Naploi was about an hour from my house and it really took some gumption on my part to get down there. After my experience, I'm convinced the only people who write reviews are those who have something to complain about or who felt jaded about not getting top dollar for their 1985 El Camino that has a rag for a gas cap. The others drive off happily in their new car listening to Taylor Swift or "All About That Bass" and never say a word. Now let's have a moment of honesty here. Buying a car is almost as much of an American past time as baseball or shooting bottle rockets out of a Bud Light can into your neighbor's adjoining trailer on the 4th of July. You've seen your parents haggle and negotiate over cars when you were a kid like they were experienced trial lawyers. It's just one of those things that never changes. You step on the lot, sales guy smells blood and tracks you down. It is what it is, it's the same at all car dealerships so let's all come to the realization that this is going to happen wherever you go. There is literally a sea of cars (new & used) at this place and it would have been overwhelming had I gone and just stood in the middle of it looking for the car I saw online. My sales agent spent 4 hours with me test driving, visiting other Napoli show rooms in the area and talking about what the best car for my budget would be. There was less pressure to sell me the top of the line car that I wanted initially and more about what I was comfortable paying for on a monthly basis. Yes, he wanted the sale but he wanted to make sure I wasn't going to be eating cat food for the next 72 months, either. Joe, the finance manager, could not have been a nicer guy and made sure that I was aware of when my payments were coming and how much the car was ultimately going to cost, including interest. He also offered some different scenarios to show if I paid more frequently than just once a month, how I would pay less in interest and pay off the loan faster. This was definitely something in my best interest and it was refreshing not to just sign the paperwork without talking about those types of options and be shooed out of his office. It was a great personal touch. Overall, the folks at Napoli really took great care of me from start to finish and I am exceptionally happy with my purchase and my car payments. 5 stars and 2 thumbs up for Napoli Nissan. read more

They tacked on a service contract without telling me the cost or options. Also advertised the car for lower rate after I purchased to draw in people. I got steamrolled and taken. I hate buying cars, I'm an informed customer, I know my math, know the laws and I know all the games they like to play. I'll walk you through my experience. Sales associate, Ricky, and Sales Manager, Tim were fair and upfront for ALMOST the entire experience. Finance Manager, Pedro, was your typical Finance mgr that is all nicey nice and joking around until he realizes you don't want to hear the BS and are not buying of the overpriced warranties. Sales negotiations were so-so. As always they start with the listed price of the car, accompanied by a crappy low ball offer on my trade and somehow this magical finance payment pops up (which they don't tell you is for 72 months until you ask.) NOPE! Try again guys. Back and forth a few times with "this is SERIOUSLY the best we can do" and I was finally pleased with the numbers. Not the MOST painful negotiations I've ever been through, but as always it pays to be stubborn. I still think I paid $500 too much for the car, but I digress. Once we are agreed, I ask to confirm that the car comes with 2 keys. Apparently they only had 1 key but most Cert Pre Owned cars guarantee 2 (I guess only Ford and Dodge do that). Apparently THEIR policy on keys is, "It's a crap shoot, you get what you get." Was denied an extra free key and even had to NEGOTIATE to get a remote for the key that the car came with! It's a remote keyless entry car and I had to ASK for a remote. After waiting an hour for the Finance Manager, Pedro, the real fun started. He first tells me that the car I was going to buy which is listed in the dealer ad and via CarFax as Certified Pre Owned, would cost me extra to get the CPO Powertrain Warranty. Said that the car is ELIGIBLE to be Certified, but doesn't come that way. WTF!?!?! I was pretty ticked off. After asking twice to see him, the Sales Manager, Tim, comes in and tells me he is including the basic CPO Powertrain Warrranty "as a courtesy". I've NEVER heard of this in my life. Now comes the purchase order, which had everything I expected except the VIN Etching. There was no VIN Etch on any of the windows (I made sure to check) I never asked for it, and was never told that the $199 charge that was listed on my offer would be for that fee. Once I asked for it to be removed, the attitude changed and it was rush rush, sign here sign this. I can't even imagine how many people just look at the purchase order and just sign away. Think about it: 5 cars a day x $200 x 365 days a year = $365,000 these guys could be making off VIN etching ALONE and half the time they probably aren't even doing it! I finally get my keys and walk out to my car, open the back door to transfer over my son's car seat and there is my front license plate sitting on the floor. Sales associate says, "Ohh yea there isn't a front bracket." "OK well there needs to be one because CT State law requires both plates be displayed." "Ummm ok yea let me get one." They were going to let me drive off the lot with a car in a condition that could have gotten me a ticket. Goes back to the service dept and has them mount a bracket that he hijacked from another car. Honestly, all little back and forth crap added up for me and turned this into a real pain in the ass. I had a little faith that it would be any better than past experiences and I was right. Ricky, the sales associate, was pleasant to deal with even if he was ready to let me drive off with a plate in the back seat of the car. Do yourself a favor before you walk into ANY dealer. -Do your homework and research vehicle prices and trim levels -Ask how much the dealer fees are ( the document fee should be posted somewhere) and ask for a breakdown before you even get into "the box" as they all like to call the Finance office. -READ everything you sign. -Walk out if you need to. -Never accept the first, second or sometimes even the third offer. If they really want your business they will keep trying. -Lastly, always remember that a dealer will NEVER lose money on a car. You just need to make sure they get as LITTLE of your money as possible. read more

I got my battery changed here about a year ago and 6 months in, when I was getting my oil changed, PepBoys told me my battery was weak. I told them it wasn't possible because I had JUST changed my battery less than a year ago. PepBoys showed me the test findings when they tested the battery. I decided to play it safe and go to Nissan just in case. Nissan tested the battery, showed me the results, and told me there was NOTHING wrong with my battery. I said okay, and went on my merry way. Fast forward to now, my car battery is completely dead. Turns out PepBoys was right. I should've changed the battery when they let me know it was weak. It's safe to say I will never return to Nissan of Milford EVER! I paid for a "brand new" battery that end up dying less than 2 years later. The staff was friendly, but that's not enough. I urge you to seek another dealership if you feel you must go to Nissan to get your car serviced. read more

BUYER BEWARE On august 8-22-2020 me and my Younger brother went to Napoli Nissan of milford to look for a vehicle for my brother. We test drove two vehicles a 2017 Audi A4 and a 2017 Audi A3. We decided to go with the 2017 Audi A3. We asked for a car fax on the vehicle and were given an auto check report with no accidents reported. We put a deposit on the vehicle and went home to get quotes on insurances. At home we decided to run a carfax report. Upon reviewing the the car fax report we noticed the vehicle was involved in a accident. We returned to Napoli Nissan to get our refund which all involved employees were very rude and dismissive and argumentative especially the sales manage making statements as " give him his money back and get him out of here". This business was very unprofessional. They are trying to charge customers full used vehicle value for a car that has been in an accident and not disclosing such information. The sales manager "tough guy in the Hawaiian shirt" was very arrogant and rude. You would think if this information was brought up to them they would act surprised and apologetic but instantly they went on defense and came up with every excuse in the book which leads me to believe they knew about the accident on vehicle. I'm gonna be the black sheep here & post a favorable review. I parked my old Ford SUV in Napoli Nissan's lot to see what they had. There is no way I would have been able to drive much further from my hometown with my 2006 Ford on her last breath without work I wasn't willing to put into it. Off the bat Napoli offered a little more than the Kelly Blue Book trade in. The sales guy Ron was laid back & super nice as was the finance guy (SHOCKER! lol). I mentioned they should feed me in addition to coffee...would you believe they gave me a sandwich & chips because it was way passed lunch and I was starving (no one else on the floor got it! haha) There were 4 tiers of coverage that would add to the monthly cost-I got #2, that covers bumper to bumper, and after having a Ford, I think that was a good idea, though I had to make a decision on the spot. At the end of the day it wasn't that much more money per month additional for full coverage & peace of mind. A year of free maintenance (oil change, tire rotation). Brand new brakes and tires on the 2014 Nissan Rogue S I bought, 26,000 miles. VERY clean. Blue tooth, back up camera. Brandon, the finance guy, also reviewed my TransUnion credit score with me (the fact I don't have credit cards is actually hurting me!!!!) This was not his job, so again, kudos to Brandon at Napoli for patiently answering my questions when I hesitated signing. And kudos to Ron the sales guy for patiently setting up my blue tooth, connecting it, and answering my hundred questions about the dashboard...what a sweetheart! Since there isn't "zero" stars I guess I will go with one. Couple months ago my boyfriends drop off my 2013 Sentra for a transmission replacement. At the time they didn't required any information from him or make sure if he was the owner. I'm assuming since they wanted the money, that wasn't an issue. I got into an accident, and my car is a total loss. Came back to get the paper work for my insurance, sadly I've been waiting for hours. Now they want to come with the bullshit saying that I can't get the paper work because it's not on my name. My point is, weren't they supposed to do that when the car was dropped off. After a horrible experience at another Nissan dealer, we ended up in the parking lot confused about where to head to next. My SO whipped out his smart-phone and did a Google search, finding a place that seemingly had no complaints. We immediately headed for it: Napoli Nissan in Milford, CT. Immediately we were greeted by friendly salespeople, yet no one bombarded us. It was all just friendly hellos as they held open the door, pointed us to where the new cars were vs. the used ones, and then actually just let us browse. We were still upset about our experience at the last dealer, and one of the salespeople noticed us stopping and just kind of looking bewildered. He asked if we were working with anyone yet, and when we said no he offered his services without trying to force us into talking with him. We told him our story and he immediately began laughing and telling us that he loves that dealer, because his place gets all their business one everyone leaves upset. He ended up successfully getting us to laugh about our experience instead of the continuing feeling of anger and bitterness we had walked in with, and when we were ready to get help he helped us look at the cars. They didn't have the same one I was looking at originally, but they did have the upgraded model which we had already wanted but couldn't afford. Lo and behold the model they had was actually a used model and only had 4,000 miles on it (one of those people around here who tends to just buy cars for a year and then upgrades constantly... we've gotten a lot of good cars that way) and the price was very right. As we were looking at it, another salesperson came over to let us know he just sold it to a couple who drove down from Cape Cod so that bummed us out a bit and our salesperson ended up feeling pretty bad about getting our hopes up. But that is the nature of buying a car, and in fact by the time we finished looking at the used cars some of the new cars we had looked at a half hour ago had already been sold. This is a very busy car dealership, but it is apparent why. They are very clean, very courteous, and very knowledgeable so it is easy to feel comfortable here. We test drove a few cars and ended up upgrading to a model I had always wanted but didn't think I could afford. They worked on everything with us, got my lease of my old Nissan straightened out and I ended up paying less per month for a MUCH better car than I was going to pay for an okay car at the other place. I am very happy with their service and am highly recommending this place to anyone looking at a new Nissan or even a used car. They used to have a Pontiac dealership here as well, and I think it is still there but I know it won't be for long. I had actually visited this place three years ago when I first was getting my lease and I now wish I had stayed with them instead of going with the place closer to where I used to live. They are very easy to access as well (right off of 95 and route 1). If you go and Sayid is still there, make sure you talk to him. He was our salesperson and was great. His brother even works there as well and he was also nice and very helpful. In fact everyone there (Pedro and... oh no I feel bad I forgot the woman who helped us with the financial work... she was an amazing help!) was so friendly and respectful. I have never felt actually comfortable in a car dealership except for in the ones where my family knew the manager and so we of course were treated great, but here we were treated like family without knowing anyone there to begin with. The only thing keeping me from giving a five is because of the wait time, but they were very busy so it was very possible it was just due to that. My first service appointment is already scheduled for November so we'll see how that goes and I can update accordingly. Highly recommended! read more

This place is run by a lot of shady people... To start I never write negative reviews and rarely complain, but I was ripped off here too many times and I would hate for anyone to go through this experience. Please go somewhere else that will you treat you with respect. The service department is not kind. I had an appointment ahead of time for service/oil change in September. When I arrived I was greeted in not a kind way. I was told I never made an appointment. Well I have the evidence on my phone, I guess it's my fault for not documenting who I talked to. I even showed him my reminder email for my appointment. He brushed it off and said I would have to wait 1.5-2 hours. On a more recent occasion I brought my car back in for service because I noticed my low tire pressure light was on. I walked out of there spending 1,000+ dollars.It turns out they sold us the car with the break pads already worn down to almost the illegal limit. It was off by .2mm. In addition, even though I have only drive 2,000 miles since purchasing the car there were major issues with the rotors as well that should never have popped up in 6 months. Now, I should have been MUCH more attentive when buying the car, but I was told that everything was in good shape and that the tires where in great shape by the sales rep. When we talked to the sales rep later he said, that stuff isn't up to me to know. Well how can someone like that sell you a car....Also, when my fiance and I talked with a manager, he even admitted to the wrong doing and tried to start fighting with us... Not our style. We will not be giving them our business anymore. There was a lot of shady stuff like that with the other things wrong with car. We were also insulted by a service staff member, but I really don't want to share that comment on here. It was really upsetting. After this experience and talking to others who know of Napoli Motors, we've heard similar stories from them. I would hate for anyone to have to deal with any of this, please go somewhere else. Zero stars would be given, if the option was available. My experience with this dealership as been absolutely horrific. I had them put on a spoiler when I first purchased my car. A year later I noticed the spoiler was lifting. I went to them about it and they said whom ever put this on didn't know what they were doing. When I informed them that THEY NAPOLI had put it on they had nothing to say. They also tried to have me pay to have it fixed. They SO CALLED fixed it and I still have the same problem. I have been trying for almost 2 weeks to get answer on a warranty repair request for my 2016 Altima. The customer service for this dealership does not exists. Ruben whom I've dealt with has been ignoring my phone calls. They sell you a warranty and tell you it covers seat repairs and then when you put in a claim to have your repair done, they tell you no.
