Nara's food is hit or miss. I ordered the chicken tawouk sandwich with garlic and pickles (side of fries) and it was not that great! It made my stomach upset the next day and I would not order it again when I go back. However, their fries are delicious! They have the option of ordering spicy or regular fries (you can still ask for the spicy dipping sauces on the side if you order the regular fries) If you love garlic and the chili hot sauce, ask for ALOT. They barely give you any with your food and they're super tiny. I also ordered their sweet tea and it was also very good! Good amount of sugar. Was not bitter or too sweet. Their iced coffees are also very good. I ordered them before in the past and loved them! I would come back to hang with friends but not ordering the chicken again. read more

Great Ambiance. Both indoor and outdoor seating available. Customer service is prompt even during busy times. I tried their Dinner Buffet, which I believe is only offered during Ramadan. And I think it's a best ethnic buffet in town for the money! Their hookah, in my experience is the best quality and keeps the flavor and smoothness for the longest time. A great place for evening hangout with friends over some middle eastern snacks and Hookah. Nara's is one of the hookah lounges with the best customer service when it comes to bringing out the food,hookah, and drinks quickly. On this occasion I thought the falafel had been a bit overcooked and I should have returned it. while I do like the food at this place, I prefer other lounges with a more relaxed ambiance While i enjoy the smoothness of the hookah here, I prefer to go to other hookah lounges as I do not like the ambiance here. the lounge is located in what appears the be the furniture district of Houston and it's in a shopping center with various lamp/furniture shops where parking is very difficult and inconvenient at night (you might also get blocked by other cars when you park). Moreover, the ambiance is also strange inside the establishment. Although I know it's a "dry" establishment and it's not necessarily a place where you'll party at, it is VERY Male dominated establishment and I have felt uncomfortable walking in as I get stared/felt unwelcome by the Male customers when I walk in with my other female friend. read more

This is first and foremost, a very crowded hookah bar. This would be cool if they had any sort of ambiance, or space to handle their clientele. But they don't. So it's just a very crowded massive room that you have to navigate to, in order to find your seating. Once you do you order hookah that is either hit or miss, play cards or order the famous cheese and Zafar pita (5/5) or the chili fries (3/5). Food is good here! Their mint lemonade smoothie is the best. This place gets packed fast so parking gets to be limited during certain days and times. The worst customer service I have ever experienced. They clearly do not value or appreciate their regular customers. Instead of management leading by example they are worst.
