this review has been so long due and ive never really left a bad review for a place but ive kinda had enough ive been going to this optometrist since i was in middle/high school every couple years to do eye exams and to renew my contact lenses for years. Couple years ago i was trying to get glasses done somewhere else and the place told me if i got my eye exam done to renew my contacts they would also have my prescription for glasses as well. So I called Nara to check up on my glasses prescription that I got an exam for prior year. They told me that they only had my prescription for contact lenses and that when I got my eye exam done it didnt include for glasses prescription. I relayed the info to the place I was trying to get my glasses done, and they said thats not true it should come with both. So I hung up and called Nara again just to make sure I heard that right and received confirmation I'd have to go in again for an eye exam if I wanted a glasses prescription from a DIFFERENT employee (first one was a girl and the second time a dude picked up) So i scheduled an eye exam the same day and went in. A worker took me to a room and I explained what I was told on the phone. And the worker says no, when you do an eye exam it comes with both glasses and contacts prescription. ...?? That's not what i was told when i called TWO TIMES to make sure. No one apologized when i made time to drive in there for an eye exam that i didnt even need. And recently I called to renew my contact lenses and asked about my insurance coverage that i recently started. They took my information and then said they would "give me a call back" once they look up my insurance coverage etc. A week passed and no one called so I had to call myself for a follow up. And then explained how I can use my insurance and how much my insurance covers but the reimbursement would go into a membership card that i can only use at the store? I gave them multiple chances and they disappointed me everytime time. I won't be returning. The eye doctor himself is really chill and quick though, its sad the staff, service, and management of the place sucks. read more

All the employees are so friendly and willing to help you choose out your glasses or get the correct lenses. It took me a while to choose out the perfect frame for myself. Been going here since 2009 and service is always excellent. There's a lot of new workers but they are all nice. We were helped by Joyce and she was so patient and friendly. I was able to get new glasses and prescription sunglasses. We didn't have vision insurance, but the price was manageable to pay out of pocket. We'll be back next year for our yearly eye exam! If you wear glasses and experience dizziness, I highly recommend coming here. Every time I wore glasses, I almost always felt dizzy, but after getting my glasses here, I feel so comfortable. I even got expensive glasses elsewhere but still had dizziness. Even with glasses that had large lenses, which other places said couldn't be fixed, Brian adjusted the focus perfectly, and now I wear them with ease.
