This should be -5 stars I hired Nasa Heating in 2019 to replace my water heater and a 70 year old furnace. They were the cheapest in four estimates and of course you get what you pay for. They were fine with the removal, but when it comes to the installation their attention to detail, common sense and customer service are totally unprofessional: 1. For the furnace main trunk line, instead of straight shot with minimal angles, they tried to cut corners and cobble bends to connect to an existing duct--which I made them redo. 2. The furnace exhaust pipe on their first pass was installed head height and Chris insisted that it needed to be that low so the moisture can drain back toward the furnace. Upon further questioning and suggestions he were able to raise the pipe closer to the ceiling. Another thing that had to be redone. Set a date to have that redone and they blew me off. The second time they came to fix it. 3. The electrical wire that connects the thermostat to the furnace, one of the workers accidentally pulled the wire out before connecting the thermostat--making more work by having to put holes in the drywall to pull a new wire through. At this point I didn't trust them to patch up the holes, so I did it myself. 4. The exhaust pipe for the water heater, same thing again trying to cut corners and cobble parts together to connect to an existing pipe. The connections were held together with "foil tape" which fell to the floor. Called them to redo and they blew me off twice. Finally go Chris to come out to fix. 5. The pressure relief valve pipe was not strapped and extended to drain outside. I called them numerous times to complete the job, but they never return my calls--so I ended up finishing it myself. 6. I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt and ask them to do the yearly inspection. Chris answered the phone this time. We set a date and as expected he blew me off. If you are looking for a HVAC contractor avoid Nasa Heating like the plague. read more
