My mom and I really enjoyed the chicken. We ordered the 8 piece but got 12. Yay surplus, but we really just wanted the 8 piece. They went over board on the corn bread which was cold. I was expecting regular fries but we got waffle fries and the Mac n cheese was just whatever. The hot chicken was not really hot, but it was good. The restaurant was freezing and we ate with our jackets on. The service left a lot to be desired, or maybe it seemed like a long wait because we were freezing. The only hot dish was the mac'n cheese and the chicken, which is very important. The fries were lukewarm and the cornbread was cold. They were standing around laughing and talking and people who had ordered after me were served more quickly. I was very quickly very annoyed. The place could be great, but the staff & set up make it bad. U have to order & pick up at the same location on the counter. It's loud & there's no room! When your buzzer goes off, to tell U your food is ready for pick up, U have to wait in line again to get your food. People are ordering & staff make U wait to get your food. This used to be a Starbucks. There's plenty of room for the ordering to be done on one end of the bar & the food pick up on the other end. The design is majorly STUPID!!! They also have totally blocked the kitchen view from customers. They stack up boxes so we can't see. It's unsightly & I like to see what they're doing when preparing my food. People are in line trying to order when your buzzer goes off & U can't get up to collect your food. The staff get orders wrong constantly. I don't know if that's coz they're stupid or becuz they can't hear. It's loud with the music, the fryers & fans & all the people congregated at the same area -- ordering & picking up food. I've been twice & both times they majorly messed up my order -- the staff who took my order told the cooks the wrong food. I should have looked at my receipt, but it's so hectic, I don't think about it. It took us 40 mins to eat becuz they messed up our original order! Then, they announce they're closing in a few minutes. They also over charge on tipping. Restaurants are doing this now, so be careful! They put out a choice based on percentages. They don't show U what you're being charged until U have paid and gotten your receipt. They also base the percentage AFTER tax! It should be PRE-tax! read more

Drove over an hour to eat at this place for their Ramadan iftar promo, only to arrive at 5:45 PM, before iftar opened and reached the till at 6:00 PM, only for the server to tell us they had already served 150 meals?! I don't understand if your goal was free promo or cheap marketing, but this was foul play. @NOTYOURAVERAGEHALAL, don't run promos like this, it's was completely messed up. If this was truly for iftar, you would have ensured that people who hadn't ordered before iftar opened actually got a meal. I can afford a meal, but it's about principle. The burgers are absolutely incredible. Service is about medium speed, meaning sometimes you get your food really fast and sometimes you have to wait a bit. The ambience is really good, including multiple chairs where you can sit down to eat, and even a couch with a really festive table. I prefer getting the single smash with ketchup, mayonnaise, and onions, and then a side of mac & cheese or cornbread, depending on what I'm feeling. Mac & cheese is really good! We visited yesterday and were pleasantly surprised how much we enjoyed it. We had a chicken sandwich and mushroom burger. The burger was ok, although the brioche bun is a nice touch. The chick sandwich was outstanding though. Crispy , juicy and flavorful . In addition the waffle fries were very crispy and their house sauce was really good. With the difficulty finding good food options in this local area, my family was excited to try this new venture. Our excitement quickly turned to disgust after going unfortunately. We tried 4 different burgers plus the fried chicken sandwich and I would choose ramen over ordering anything from here again. In addition to the fact that it took 45 minutes for us to receive our order when there were only 2 other customers there, the food was cold when we received it and they got our order wrong. The burgers were overcooked, very greasy, and the size of hockey pucks. The fact that there are glowing reviews may demonstrate that there are different experiences based on who is working but our experience was so horrible I will not be back to find out. I really wanted to like this place, because I've had tried it at other locations, such as spice Village. Without a doubt, I can say that this was one of the worst fast food Halal restaurant I've had. The chicken was somehow overcooked, frozen solid as far as the meat goes. Not only that, the oil that was used must have been at least a month old.
