Food was great!! Loved the ambiance and service was good.. We ordered cheese nachos , quesadillas with paneer and enchiladas with paneer.. we loved them all!!

    Queso with lamb and nan

We had the best food and were pleasantly surprised at their happy hour menu and 1/2 price margaritas. Such a great combinations of flavors. The queso with lamb and nan was possibly one of the best things I have eaten. Cant wait to go back! Super helpful and friendly staff. A must if you are in the area!

    Tikka enchiladas with lamb.

Tikka con queso is my new favorite thing! Loved the fusion concept, haven't seen it before although it feels like it makes perfect sense. Staff was helpful figuring out all the things I wanted to try. Got it to-go, packed and traveled well, definitely trying again.

Three of us had arrived earlier and ordered already and our server came by to greet us two and take our drink order right away if we were ready. We were not so she gave us some time and came back. Throughout the night, she checked on us. At the end of the night, she offered to split all our checks and remembered everyone's orders and how to to accurately split the drinks. Each lady paid for an appetizer. The appetizers were all very good though I would say there are limited gluten free options. The girls shared the Tempura Cauliflower. It looked really good and apparently was also delicious but unfortunately not gluten free. The Charcuterie Board with cheese, salami, pepperoni, and smoked salmon was yummy, as were the brussel sprouts and chicken kabobs. The server said the marinade was not gluten free but I decided to eat it anyways. The chicken was juicy and seasoned well. I really liked the brussel sprouts too. The Dirty Martinis and Paper Plane were great. My friend had the Cucumber cocktail but opted for soda water instead of Sprite and she said it was really good. It looked pretty. The restaurant offers a nice vibe for hanging out and has a great selection of cocktails, wines, and food. I didn't get a chance to try an entree but I'm sure they are good. We had the best server so I'd say this place is a winner.

I could tell they were relatively new but that was only because I was sitting right where they were making the drinks. A server came in to give them a compliment about a drink they had made. The customer said they made it perfectly. (I don't know which drink it was) I ordered a glass of Sauvi B and the chicken and waffles. Honestly I was a bit underwhelmed by the presentation. Right off the bat, I noticed that the waffles were very thin. They would not hold up to the sauces and the chicken. I was right. The waffles basically fell apart. They needed to be much thicker waffles to complement the chicken. They chicken was great. The sauces were delicious. I wouldn't order it again. The waffles were disappointing. It was an expensive brunch for what it was. $56 with tip (2 glasses of wine) - the food was around 18.99. The decor is nice and the people were friendly. I'd try again but with a different item.

Upon her return, we ordered the chicken fried pork chop, fried pickles, burger and fish and chips. Everything was great and flavorful. The portions were large enough to leave you full and more. The venue itself has a cool retro vibe. Clean, well lit and the noise is average. I overheard another server stating it was happy hour, but we weren't made aware. I will have to go back during happy hour to see what they have to offer, but also to try different items.

The salmon this time was ordered medium and it came out perfect on the edges but the inside was stringy and raw. I'm not talking pink, but the red, gooey, translucent flesh color. Waitress said "next time we'll order it well done." She was trying to be funny but it came off as a little dismissive as she didn't look at the fish. The chicken strawberry salad was very good except for the chicken. I thought a restaurant like this would know that a salad with bright acids shouldn't be mixed with fatty, lumpy chunks of dark meat. Apparently they use a rotisserie chicken that's stripped by a machine - then they just grab a handful of whatever comes out and throw it on the salad. For the cooks it's easy to remember - if it's slathered in sauce use dark meat, otherwise use breast meat. Service was attentive and the outside patio was nice.

I got the idea that Jason should have his own signature cocktail. I had the perfect name for it and a list of drinks he likes, but I'm no mixologist, so I needed help to pull this off. Sonya McKinney, the manager replied to my request saying she was all in. And boy was she! From her creative expertise, the "Liberty Risk" cocktail was born. Jason is a retired Navy fighter pilot with an ornery streak a mile wide. Whenever the aircraft carrier came into port, the crew was at liberty to enjoy time in town, unless of course, they'd done a mischief and found themselves on liberty risk, and thus restricted to the ship. Jason wasn't completely unfamiliar with liberty risk. "Liberty Risk" became the name of his boat, his most prized possession, making it also the perfect name for his signature cocktail. Sonya didn't just create an awesome cocktail, she hung a professionally made banner above the bar introducing the drink, wrote and laminated the backstory of the drink, and bought a special Navy veteran glass in which to present the drink, complete with real Navy wings that she attached to a golden cocktail skewer to garnish the drink! She also arranged for the musician who was playing that night to lead the whole bar in singing Happy Birthday to him. Thanks to Sonya, the whole experience was unparalleled and it's a special memory Jason and I will always cherish.

However, at the host stand we stood unacknowledged for awhile, despite two employees within view and earshot until someone bustled up from the dining room and asked how many. I told her "two" and she walked us to a 2-top where we'd be seated across from each other and dropped 2 menus onto the table and kept walking. I looked around for a 4-top since my daughter has special needs and I need to help her eat. I didn't see any in that dining area, so I looked around for the woman who I didn't see either. A waiter walked up to The table next to us and looked at me looking lost, and I said, "we need some help." He kind of stared at me for a second then turned around to his table. So I picked up the menus and silverware and walked into the next dining room where some folks were sitting and there were tables. One employee looked confused at what I was doing there and I explained my issue, at which point she told me that that area was closed and we couldn't sit there and there was nothing available. So the woman who disappeared re-appeared, reiterated that we couldn't sit there, and so I told her I guessed we could sit outside, even though it was 95 degrees. She brought out chips and salsa and then we just sat there. And sat there. And sat there. No one came to ask for drinks and at this point I was fuming. I left my daughter at the table and went inside to find someone and I swear there were 5 people standing there, including the waiter who turned away from me, just looking at me. No one asked what I needed or if they could help me. (I had decided to leave before I did this, but my daughter wanted to stay.) Finally a guy who clearly just arrived there asked what I needed and I told him we'd been sitting outside for a long time without any service, and at exactly that time someone finally walked up to our table. I told the new guy at the host stand that our experience was really sucking. The waiter who came was friendly but scarce, and we got the spoon I asked for so my daughter could manage her own rice once we had finished the meal. We then waited a very long time for our check and I had to explain to my daughter over and over that we couldn't leave til we paid the bill. When I did, I had the options of selecting a 20, 25 or 28 percent tip, which I found ludicrous given the absolute epic lack of service. I think it may be the worst I've ever had. Not sure about training and culture there, but it was an amazing example from start to finish of an entire staff who had perfected mediocrity and ambivalence.
