Like a lot of other bars on Broadway the band is up front so you can hear them from the street. Bands play for tips. The drink prices are decent and the bartenders are serious; they keep bottle openers in their wrist bands. The band was okay (they seemed to do original songs) but the talking between songs wasn't that great.

They have great live music and Miller High Life. Really what more can you ask for? I'd say one of the best bars in lower broadway

Went in seeking this "honky-tonk" that everyone speaks of, came out loving Nashville. This bar single handedly gave us the quintessential Nashville experience. From the guys in cowboy boots and hats, to the friendly bartenders, to Mark the bouncer (apparently in the south Mark has three syllables and sounds strangely like Martin). We danced all night to the band The Detonators. They were really good, and I think that we entertained them as much as they entertained us. We stopped in for a drink at ended up being the final customers to leave when they closed at 3! It is a great little bar to cut loose and be yourself, no pretension, no sqeezy guys trying to pick you up. Just normal people looking to have a good time! This little bar did have a few quirks the first being the enormous wooden sign from the Alton Belle Casino.- See we are from St. Louis outside of Alton and can't quite figure out how a sign for a casino that no longer exists ended up in Nashville, no where near the Mississippi. But it was our first sign that this was the bar for us. Secondly, strangely Ab Lincoln hung out for a while. Honestly a guy dressed as Ab Lincoln, make-up and all visited the bar, for no apparent reason. But we got photos with him, and how often do you have that opportunity to get your picture taken with a dead president?

Just stopped in for a few drinks while walking around town and to listen to some music

If you have been to one Honky Tonk bar you have truly seen them all, but hey we all like to be adventurous and try something new. The band was pretty good; of course you know they work for tips and the moment you walk in the door and haven't heard a full song; they will come up to you and want to know if you want to tip the band. Here is my tip; wait till I have heard a full song before you ask! Bartender was efficient and had a decent pour; drink prices are average. It was a little smokey; they had the doors open so that helped. Not a big dance floor but hey when it's closing time you can dance where you want!

Great place to take in live music and enjoyed a very cheap ginger ale. Band was wonderful, really dug their sound. Friendly service and a great decor. Tourist-pleaser for sure but what more could you want. Would love to come back later in evening as was not busy when we were there. Would recommend this place for a fun band and a drink!

In all the bars I went to Nashville Crossroads is my favorite! The venue is set up perfectly! As soon as you walk in the band is to your right so you can tell immediately if you are going to enjoy their music, or the crowd. I do not know who was playing on Sat. 6/17/17 however, the lady was amazing! She played everything from Cranberries to Stevie Nicks and everything in-between! Our group did not wait long to get served, in fact we were in and out pretty quickly as we were doing our own little pub crawl! The good news is we returned just to listen to the music and dance as a group!

    Who are you guys????!!!

I'm 30 years old and have used this license without issue for years. When I asked what specifically was wrong with the ID, nobody could provide an explanation. Instead, staff consulted a manager and simply told me they would not be serving me. Meanwhile, the other members of my group, all around the same age and carrying valid IDs, were able to order drinks without issue. As an Asian customer, I left this establishment believing I was racially profiled. I was singled out, denied service despite presenting valid identification, and never given a legitimate explanation for why my ID was supposedly unacceptable. Since the incident, I have found multiple reviews from other customers of color describing experiences that raised similar concerns about profiling and disparate treatment. The entire experience was humiliating, unprofessional, and unacceptable. There are plenty of businesses in Nashville that can verify IDs without treating customers this way.

This time, we switched things up and hit it for lunch instead. Good call. We grabbed seats at the bar, where Todd was holding down the fort. The guy was outstanding. Drinks never sat empty, food came out smoothly, and he somehow managed to be attentive without hovering over us every five minutes asking if everything was okay. My wife started with the Nashville Margue, which goes down way too easy for something packing moonshine. Light, refreshing, and carrying enough kick to remind you you're in Tennessee. Then Todd introduced us to a Bloody Mary made with a new pickle-infused vodka. Now, that sounds like one of those ideas that should either be amazing or a complete disaster. Turns out it's amazing. My wife loved it so much she's already talking about coming back tomorrow for another one. For food, we started with the pretzels and beer cheese. Simple. Warm. Soft. Salty. Exactly what you want while settling into a Nashville afternoon. Nothing fancy, just done right. Then I went all in on the mac and cheese topped with Nashville hot chicken. Yee Haw. Creamy mac and cheese. Crispy chicken. That signature Nashville heat. Comfort food with a little attitude. Just the way it should be. The best thing about The Stillery is that it knows exactly what it is. Good food. Good drinks. Good people. No gimmicks. No trying too hard. Just a fun place to sit down, relax, and enjoy yourself. Fifteen trips to Nashville (together) and it's still one of our first stops. That's probably the strongest review I can give. Five stars.

The spot is in an old building in the middle of the entertainment district (Lower Broad area). It has a small outside seating area, for when it is not a sauna, Inside there is a nice sized bar, if you are just seeking a drink. They are known for their mac & cheese, which I have never tried in all of the times I have been to the Stillery. Very creamy, cheesy mac & cheese. The Nashville hot chicken has a nice spice to it. A bit mild for the serious hot chicken fans, but the flavor is there. The chicken tenders are fairly standard. And the crinkle fries are mid. I enjoyed both of the drinks. At $14.50, they are at least $1.50 less than the standard Broadway cocktails in the star bars, so iti s a less expensive option to get a drink. I don't think they ever have live music, unlike some others here, so you are going for the food, not the noise. Service was great, as always. The staff is always prompt and knows their menu. It is more bar food and the menu is limited, but what they do, they do well.

To prolong our stay, we ordered cheeseburgers and beer (fries and onion rings were extra) for brunch. We sat up on the balcony, which we had all to ourselves and with a nice view to the main floor below. Our waitresses were down home friendly, hard working, and good at what they were doing. There was no live music available at the time, but they did have a DJ which I thought was spinning the turntable rather well. It's my bad that I didn't also catch on that his is basically a Tequila Bar, rather than a more general craft cocktail establishment. Judging by the well stocked bar and the word of our waitress, other alcohol and their associated craft creations are available, but it's pretty much off menu and not well into our waitress' repertoire. And yes, Cinco de Mayo was just a few days away. One member of our party just wanted a soft drink, which was not possible that night as their CO2 was down. That did make me wonder whether the non-alcohol drinkers had much to chose from here. I suppose we could have then wandered over to the Redemption Bar at Chief's? Anyway, we're not Tequila Drinkers, and since other drink options appeared to be guesswork, we left towards more traditional mixed drinks (and live music) at a nearby Printers Alley bar. This was a rare night that I really wanted a craft cocktail in a smooth environment, and in the end it just wasn't the same.
