My family and I enjoyed our visit here today. We were lucky it wasn't busy day today. The place is pretty nice and the staff were very attentive. The food choices were amazing and the price is good. Ambiance is great! We ordered two plates of chimichanga and they were delicious. I had the chonguito in beef fajita and it was good. The guacamole was tasty, sadly they gave you little rice to enjoy your plate. I recommend this place if you are looking for a good Mexican food.

I really wanted Tex-Mex so I chose this place because it had the best reviews and was on my way to my next stop. It's here I should say my review is only as high as it is because of the staff. They were incredible from start to finish-welcoming, attentive and fast. The food however left a lot to be desired. If you are looking for "Mexican" food that looks and tastes just like it came out of a large can and the kitchen never put a single speck of seasoning, this is your place. I was initially happy to see that the salsa and chips were accompanied by some complimentary queso blanco and I thought that was a nice touch. I ordered one of the daily specials that was supposed to feature a cheese enchilada, ground beef taco and fajita chicken taco. The meal was supposed to come with one other item that was supposed to be chile con carne but when they brought my taco out (within 5 mins of ordering) it had a queso puff and I never saw the chile con carne item. The salsa was probably the best part of the experience. The red has a great flavor with the slightest kick and is possibly the most seasoned thing I ate. Because of the cheese puff I can say the queso blanco and queso are a toss-up -neither edges the other out. My beef taco was watery but thankfully the taco shell was crispy and held up to the task. I started eating my enchilada, rice and beans and it had no flavor so I asked the waiter for Cholula and waited until I could add it to my food before I started eating again. I then opened my chicken fajita taco and saw it was just meat. No onions, no dressing, just tortilla and meat. I dumped the meat on top of my rice and beans, added more Cholula and ate a few more bites before deciding I'd had enough and didn't want to eat more of something I didn't enjoy. This place is for someone who isn't a true Tex-Mex lover and doesn't like seasoning. If that isn't you, try somewhere else.

The service and overall vibe here is good. Everybody seemed to be smiling the entire time I was there. I was drawn in by the menu prices (they make no sense mathematically, which is always funny to me) but was unfortunately very disappointed by the food. The queso is Not good at all - I had to mix my salsas into it to make it edible. I love my share of pre-made and homemade quesos, but this was just nasty and had very little flavor. The chicken flautas were also pretty disappointing. They were presented nicely, but the chicken was ground very finely so the mouth feel was not appealing. I ate half of one and gave up. The other thing that wasn't great is their table menus. They show the daily specials but don't specify they're only for 5pm-close. I wouldn't have ordered queso if I knew that was the case. I pointed out that the daily specials menu printed out doesn't indicate any time limitations, but my waiter didn't honor that because there's a separate sign by the cashier that specifies the timings. Not a great experience but probably good on a budget if you order the right food

I am a fan. We spent many years in San Antonio and were used to going to a local Tex-Mex restaurant and getting a good plate of food for about 11 bucks. This is still that place. Sadly, these places aren't as common in the Houston area, and Just a few blocks from this Restaurant's location you are in the woodlands, and you'd be paying about double that. This really should be called Natalita's number two because that's the sign outside. number one's in Jersey Village and Natalita's number three's in Tomball. Dinner for two with drinks is under 40 bucks. And that's with food to spare. I ordered the carnitas, which was a good value. Combo plates are a good value. They have lots of different Mexican beers and late-night Happy Hour with cocktails under six bucks. Staff are friendly native Spanish speakers. Everybody's welcoming. Comfortable place, very homey. What's not to love? This is not an "impressive" place. This is a 1980s Mexican restaurant. It's more like your regular place when you don't want to spend a lot of money. Very standard, fare, no surprises.

We have been coming here for many years for launch. What we like the most is the queso Blanco, and the chicken tacos. Diego is our server and he always presents professionalism and never disappoints! The food is delicious and well prepared HOT.

Always have a great time. The bartender knows his Rita's, and the food is always top notch. it's the only Tapas place around, and not enough people venture to try it. Also, the music sets a mood. My spouse and I always come here before a movie date. Give it a try!

Totes came back... didn't take long before the craving kicked in hah! Their perfectly crisp chips (with just the right thickness) and salsa were on the brain, and we wanted to try more of their menu. Behold, the Queso Flameado - a cool spectacle of a dish brought the table en fuego!!! (And super yummy, topped with meaty & smoky chorizo - served with fresh tortillas.) HIT THE SPOT.

I must say I have always loved Natalitas. Today it was really disappointing. I ordered the molcajete which comes with beef and chicken fajitas, cactus and an awesome salsa.... Unfortunately the chicken and beef were extremely dry and there was no salsa as stated in the description. Service was not up not up to par. read more

The friendly staff is the only reason I didn't give 2 stars. We had 4 adults, 4 children and a baby, so it was a larger party, however, we did call ahead and reserve a table. The food was very bland and covered in queso, even when we asked for it on the side. The drinks, margaritas were absolutely awful. Imagine pouring tequila into a glass, adding ice and letting it sit until watery, splashing some lime into it and adding salt the rim of the glass. Yep, that was their supreme margarita. These people are wonderful when I come here they remember what I like to drink from memory no matter long I've been gone. This restaurant is the definition of a community. DID NOT ENJOY!! Second time there and will not be returning. I had a large margarita seem to be virgin , ordered queso which was not tasty didn't taste anything like cheese also it was white. For the meal I ordered Carbon something it's a huge taco the idea was to share with a friend it was a massive mess only thing was tasty was the dried meat basically. The tortilla I'm not sure if it was that but whatever it was burned crispy.. no thanks read more

Service here is on point as others have noted, will always have a drink in your glass! Chips are great, come with a warm red salsa, a cold green sauce, and sometimes another cold red salsa! And every time I've been a small free bowl of queso! That's like getting free ranch somewhere without having to ask lol, good queso too! Have had the trio plate of enchiladas and it's great! Rice and refried beans are good too! Most recent time I ventured out and got a chimichanga with fajita beef, I was concerned that it'd become a mess and the beef wouldn't be good. I guess I just had low expectations for something like because it was great! Beef was cut up into just perfect size pieces, it all held together very well and was just wonderful. The gravy and cheese slathered on top was on point too, just a great dish overall. I should come try more things :D read more

I order the enchiladas and they were decent. Ok place if you are in the area and don't want to wait. This business would not honor the free dessert that you get upon checking in with Yelp. When I placed the order on the phone the waiter said I needed to show him the offer in person on my phone, but when I arrived they switched their "policy" stating I had to dine in. I spoke to the manager and mentioned the offer does not say you have to dine in, but rather check in. My salsa container also came open in the car. To go packaging could be improved. read more

I work close by and walk past this restaurant almost everyday getting my stros in. Everyday they are cleaning their restaurant front watering their plants, cleaning their windows. Cleanest restrooms ever. You know if they're this clean the foods going to be so great. It is!! Service is awesome as well. I highly recommend this restaurant, you'll love them. read more

Great food and service. They were able to accommodate our large group of 15+ on short notice on Friday evening when other places were booked. Courteous staff and strong drinks. We had looked on the internet for a new Mexican restaurant and decided to try Natalita's for the first time. When we walked in, no one would greet us and take us to a table. Upon getting the menus, we noticed that you had to pry open the plastic covers to read the menu itself. Not a good sign of cleanliness. The food came out of the microwave extremely hot. I noticed when eating my enchilada that the chicken meat was old and very stringy. I tried my wife's fajita meat and it was old and greasy as well. The chips were mediocre and the red and green sauce was not good. We left over half of the meal on our plates, paid the bill and left. Finally, I ended up feeling quite sick later that night. Please avoid this restaurant unless you want to get physically sick. read more

The service from our waiter was very slow. Barely took care of us. We had to ask for everything. The busboy did all of the work. The salsa is bland and the Queso is even more bland. Had no flavor at all. My mother had a crispy beef taco and an enchilada and got food poisoning. She has been sick all day, throwing up non stop. I had the tortilla soup and it was way too big of a portion, had way too many vegetables in it (literally just every vegetable in it) and was flavorless. My stepdad got the "special" which had different meat in and it was way too spicy. (Trust me, he loves spicy. So if he says it's too spicy, then it's true) absolutely horrible experience. Do not go eat here. Or you will possibly get food poisoning. read more

I was under the impression that they were under the same management as Casa Imperial on Jones at 1960... apparently not. I ordered the lunch special #11. The Chile con queso puff was much more puff, and much less cheese... The least cheese on a puff that I've ever experienced. The salsa, red, was overpowered with cilantro. I love cilantro, but this salsa was not palatable. Like most restaurants, the taco had no cheese on it... Maybe the cook is lactose intolerant. The enchilada plate came with frijoles... but no rice? Seriously? Why? Nickel/dime?The great deal was a very good happy hour margarita and a perfect guacamole. I generally judge a restaurant by it's red salsa. This was NOT the positive experience that I regularly have with Casa Imperial on Jones. Very disappointed. In response to your reply... If you want to improve by leaps and bounds, go back to Casa Imperial, and BEG them to teach you to make salsa, prepare queso, give more instead of less, and, for God's sake, do NOT try to get creative with what THEY'RE doing. If I hadn't seen the Google Maps reference to Casa Imperial being where you are located, I would have NEVER associated your food with theirs. Thanks for the nice lip service offer for dinner, but I'm not interested in being disappointed again. I'll drive the extra dozen miles to Casa Imperial on Jones at 1960 or El Gallo on Jones. read more

The service was A+, very attentive and hospitable, which counts for a lot in my book. They brought out a huge statue and bass drum for someone's birthday, which we loved and thought was hilarious. Also, the house marg was excellent and I definitely recommend. Overall, a cool vibe in the restaurant and we will definitely come back. We have some friends coming in from out of town and thought that it might be a good spot to introduce them to TexMex. If your go-to is Natalita's or something like that around The Woodlands, I would definitely encourage you to give this place a shot.

Very Disappointed! I've patronized this restaurant for years, but can no longer eat there because the servers do not wear masks during the Covid-19 Pandemic. Not wearing masks to protect their customers is not responsible and dangerous. When we asked why they don't wear masks, the response was "we don't need to, they don't protect us." Possibly, they should talk to a medical professional to understand they are protecting other people by wearing a mask. Especially in their restaurant as their customers must remove their masks to eat, leaving them very vulnerable to being exposed by a server. My doctor has advised to avoid this restaurant. So disappointed at their attitude, but this group of 6 will no longer be dining there. read more
