Been coming to this place for years!…read more Always can expect the same tasty food each visit. Seating is limited, so get there early to get a table! Service is quick, and the food comes out fast! I always take advantage of the free pork soup dumplings once I reach my $50 minimum!

I really wanted to like this place given the 4.6 rating and 2,000+ reviews, but our experience was…read moreextremely disappointing. When we walked in, the restaurant felt run-down and it was freezing inside. It was so cold that my entire family kept our winter jackets on the whole meal ,I even had to keep my hood up. We noticed other diners were also wearing their coats, which says a lot. I repeatedly had to ask for hot tea just to stay warm. Service was also lacking. The waiter was inattentive, and despite the restaurant not being busy, no one came by to check on us or ask how the food was. As for the food: * The soup dumplings had almost no soup inside, and the dough was thick and heavy. * The egg and tomato soup was completely bland and had almost no flavor. One thing that may explain the high number of reviews: there's a QR code on the wall offering free bubble tea in exchange for leaving a review. That definitely makes the rating feel inflated. Honestly, if this restaurant were located in Flushing, it probably wouldn't last long given the level of competition and food quality standards there. Unfortunately, I can't recommend Red Tiger based on our visit

I stopped in quick before heading out to dinner and had a drink at the bar. The bar/lounge had an…read moreall-day happy hour menu that is stellar. For $8, I got a whole hot sake (about 5 cups). It was delicious, hit the spot, and I will absolutely be getting it again. Quiet, clean vibes inside. Service was a bit slow but the bartender seemed to also be responsible for all the lounge tables and the takeout/check-in counter- so she was spread thin!

They have happy hour from 3-7pm drinks are $7-8 and hot apps are $8 . I got a glass of wine and the Bang Bang cauliflower. I asked for the sauce on the side as sometimes it's too spicy. The cauliflower was in a tempura batter which was light and crispy and the sauce was more sweet then spicy but had a nice flavor. After my friend arrived we ordered the pork dumplings, which were tasty but nothing special. Eventually we moved to the dinning room. The menu is extensive with many hot dishes and sushi selections. There is a $29 price fixe that includes soup or salad, a small plate or dim sum, a kitchen entree and dessert with no restrictions off the full menu. Quite a bargain. We both got the wonton soup, which was ok but could have been hotter in temperature. We got the wagyu short rib potstickers and the crystal shrimp shumai, the beef were dry and benefited from the dipping sauce, the shrimp were fine. I got the Tiger prawns which was the star of the meal. Huge shrimp stacked high with a light sauce over shredded cabbage serves with either brown or white rice. I took half of them home. My friend doesn't like spicy food so asked which of the ramen dishes was not spicy. The waitress recommended the pork belly which arrived with no broth at all, after that was remedied it was still too spicy, which of course is personal but still. My friend got the fried ice cream & I got the chocolate cake with green tea ice cream, both were ok if forgettable I think if I decide to return it will be for happy hour only and I'll stick to the small plate apps and maybe take an order of the tiger prawns home.
