Rob did an awesome job on our home! He explained everything prior to starting the work. He is an honest, ethical duct cleaning business owner. I heavily vetted duct cleaning services asking detailed questions on how they would protect my air conditioning coils. Rob explained how he protected the coils by placing a canvus over the coil to collect all the debris, preventing debris from even touching the coil. Rob was referred by the NADCA website. My home was built in 1991 and it was evident this service was NEVER done on the home. After suffering from pneumonia shortly after moving in, it was greatly needed. This review is overdue. About 3 weeks ago, we moved into our new home. Our first order of business was getting a washer and dryer installed. During installation, it was noted that the dryer vents were completely clogged--the pervious owners never cleaned the vents apparently and this was a major fire hazard. Within an hour of calling Rob, he was at our door and got our vents cleaned quickly. We then had Rob come a week later to clean all of our air ducts. He was here for several hours--I know it was a tough job because the air ducts were never cleaned as well. Rob was professional, friendly, and polite the whole time. I have used NDCI twice in two different residences. Robert is fantastic to work with and has helpful suggestions and tips as he evaluates and cleans the house ducts. He charges a reasonable rate and performs the duct cleaning as it should be with access points in the duct system. This is by no means one of the fly-by-night operators who offer a cheap price up front only to pile on additional charges as the job progresses. Have confidence in choosing them for your home. Rob is very professional, clean, and knows his job. If Rob is skeptical of cleaning someone's equipment it is due to the risk of damaging your ducts or furnace or air conditioner. Other companies may not care about your equipment like Rob does or they may use duct cleaning procedures that do a great job therefore not be as risky to damaging your HVAC equipment. I had this company come out a few years ago when I had just gotten a new furnace. National Duct was recommended by my HVAC contractor. I had called another company who never called me back. I don't remember the name of the person who took care of our house, but I had taken care of the cold air return in the hall myself, so I knew it had been 50 + years of dust accumulated. He sealed all of the openings with tape and cardboard, and went to town on each run of ducting, pulling out a LOT of dust. I was a contractor for a number of years, and I can say he was thorough and professional and spent a lot of time doing a great job. I know there are a lot of scams associated with duct cleaning, but that's not what I found with this company. They weren't cheap, but you get what you pay for. read more

Rob came out to clean our dryer vent this morning. As soon as he came in, he was polite and respectful, and asked a lot of great questions about our dryer vent. He analyzed the situation and told me that he wouldn't be able to sleep at night if he charged us for any maintenance on our dryer vent. Apparently the dryer vent was in great condition and didn't need any maintenance. I appreciate his honesty and integrity, and even though I can't necessarily comment on his work, Rob is definitely someone I will do business with again because he is an honest person. Rob came and cleaned our ducts today. All I can say is wow! He was a super friendly, respectful and took great pains to be careful in our home. A true professional, he worked hard and did a very, very thorough job. He didn't charge us for something we though we needed when he found it wasn't necessary. He walked us through all he did and gave us tips for the future on how to prevent the dust buildup. When many of these services are just scams it is so nice to know that there are companies out there that know what they are doing and do it right! read more

I DO NOT recommend this place at all. The workers that came to do the Duct cleaning at our house were so RUDE!! When I first called to ask about the price, I spoke to Amy and she told me the duct cleaning will cost me $125.00 total and that includes all vents. I also asked her how much it is to clean my dryer vent. She told me $79.00 for that. So $204.00 total. Than she told me I can go online and get a 15% off so it dropped the cost down to $175.00. I asked her 5 times if theres going to be additonal cost, she said " No, It'll be $175.00 total for everything." So I went ahead and made the appointment. I was told we will recieve a call 20 mins before they head to our house and that the job will take between an hour to an hour and half to do. The guys showed up at our house and before they unloaded the equipment, I asked them if theres going to be any additonal charges? He told me there will be 7% charge for disposal and I told him Amy told me $175.00 total and no additional charges. He argued with me and I didnt back down so he told me " Fine, If she told you $175.00 flat, its $175.00. I dont care, I get paid by the hour not by how many jobs I do." So with all the attitude I was getting, I told him not to start the job until my boyfriend got home and that he'll be here in 2 mins. He said "ok, Im not bringing my machine in than because its heavy." a couple minutes go by and he said " Is he really going to be here in 2 mins? otherwise......" I said to him" If you dont want to do the job, your more than welcome to leave right now." and he said " Im going to have a cigarette while Im waiting. I dont care, I get paid by the hour" My boyfriend showed up a min later and asked him the price again. Why is it that when hes speaking to my boyfriend, his tone of voice changes? We went ahead and let him do the job. He than asked if we wanted him to put chemicals in our vent, it will cost $600.00 more... WHAT??? Are you kidding me? Than he calls the owner and had my boyfriend speak to him. He also was trying to sell it to us for $600.00. when we said No he said " What about half off?" Really? NO thank you. He than talked it down to $150.00. We agreed so now they are cleaning out the furnace. Why is it that we had to watch what they were doing in order for them to do their job correctly? It was obvious that they dont care how they do their job, they just want to come in, do half a** job and leave because like he said to us 3 times that he gets paid by the hour. Use someone else and pay the money to get things done right. We learned our lesson. They were rude and unprofessional. read more
