I had an uneasy feeling about these guys right out of the gate, even the initial phone call didn't go well. Then I come to find out the technician called the wrong number to verify the appointment. That Sinking Feeling amped up when the technician told me he's been doing this since December. Long story short, the technician kept telling me that this part went bad, and that part went bad,and with each part my estimate was going up $500. After about four hours the estimate was at $1,500 and he still didn't figure out exactly what was wrong with the unit,and now he was calling for reinforcements. That's when I told him he needed to leave, I have a friend who used to work in the field, he came over and had the air conditioner running within 20 minutes,granted, he did have to go and buy a new motor which he installed and one or two other small parts. My part bill was about $250. It's a shame that they send these guys out with little or no experience to try to diagnose a problem,and then the company feels the need to bilk their customers. While they attempted to fix it in June, they did not correct the issue and continue to come out and not fix the issue. I should also say the communication is terrible and they have not shown up several times, shown up at times different than what was scheduled and also did not communicate the time needed to do the work in advance. I've had a technician come and say he sees the issue and another technician come back and say he can't find the issue. I hired a different company to come and check their work and their technician found Premier didn't identify the correct issue (motor issue), didn't adjust the pressures correctly, didn't properly install the part they "fixed," and left an important filter off the unit without replacing or mentioning that it was not replaced. This company just seems to be incompetent and I cannot recommend anyone hiring them.

Overpriced and shady service with the main goal to sell new equipment instead of fixing the actual…read moreproblem. Called the business because of home A/C not cooling properly. The service technician that arrived started to offer a quote for new cooling AND heating system before even trying to identify the actual problem with my current system. I told him I may consider a quote but would prefer the problem fixed. He advised me that the system needs refrigerant at $189 per pound (10x the regular price available online) and it may take 2-3 pounds even no leak was detected anywhere and also recommended cleaning of ONLY the outside A/C coil. After the service allegedly performed and bill of over $600 there was no improvement in the A/C performance. The problems I have with their service: - The technician did not let me witness adding any refrigerant even he had a scale to measure the amount of refrigerant going in the system. Also left the tank unattended and connected to the system for quite some time telling me that's how it's charging which is not true! That leads me to suspect no refrigerant was added at all since there was zero improvement in the work of the A/C - The evaporator coil (inside the house) was not cleaned or inspected even I informed the technician the A/C was not serviced for some time. After educating myself watching few videos on the topic I discovered the evaporating coil was really dirty and cleaned it myself. That eventually solved the problem and my A/C is working properly now. I called the owner and notified him of the issue. Instead of him taking responsibility, he turned out extremely rude and even tried to intimidate me if I post a review for his company. I already filed a complaint with the BBB and planning to take the issue to small claims court if not adequately resolved.

He wrote my full credit card number on the invoice to be billed later. After 2 weeks I was never charged. The manager sent me an electronic invoice to pay. At that time I paid and responded that I was uncomfortable with my credit card number on a paper invoice somewhere. He never bothered to respond or apologize. I changed my card number that day. If you choose this vendor you may want to ask if they have a scanner before they perform the work. In 2020 I personally think it's unacceptable not to have a scanner.

Fast HONEST service!…read more Our furnace started making noises as we came out of the -30F Polar Vortex. Since we had a good experience with a humidifier repair a while back, we decided to give Hampshire Heating and Cooling another call. They came out on Monday afternoon, and everything seemed to check out OK. Bob, the tech, said that sometimes these things could be intermittent, but that they would come back if the problem happened again. Today the furnace was making the noise again. I made a quick video and sent it to them. When my wife came home at about 3PM, the furnace was making a loud buzzing sound, but was not putting out any heat. I called Hampshire Heating again, and they had Bob call me back to say he'd be out around 5:30. Bob found the problem quickly; we needed a new blower motor. Fortunately he came prepared with the proper part. He finished the repair, and was able to get us up and running quickly. Since he'd been out the day before, there was no additional trip charge. The cost of the blower motor was actually a bit less than we expected. We are very pleased that they could come out quickly, and get the unit fixed so we did not have to go a night without heat. We will definitely use them for our future HVAC needs.
